Well, you've read the notes, the notes had blurbilicious blurbs, and now it is time for you to post until the blurbing cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: BELLWETHER!
-
Notes adjudicated. Repudiated.
-
Congrats on the blurbs, BK!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
I'm feeling blurbilicious.
-
Or full of white chocolate lemon blondies.
-
It's difficult to distinguish between those two.
-
.
-
It's my day! I'm old stuff.
-
Who decides these things?
-
Those are terrific blurbs for your book, BK!
-
Can one celebrate by eating old double-stuff Oreos?
-
It's my day! I'm old stuff.
Doesn't some commercial say you're not getting older, you're getting better?
-
Such is the stuff dreams are made of?
-
Stuff and nonsense.
-
Can one celebrate by eating old double-stuff Oreos?
For Banana Cream Pie Day, shouldn't someone make Banana Cream Pie Oreos?

Indeed, someone should.

Singdaw, that's a really classy link for National Old Stuff Day!
-
In answer to your question from last night, BK, most of JY's FB posts don't have links, just a photo of the album cover. A few have links to YouTube videos of one track.
-
Those blurbs really make me want to read the new book. Right now.
-
The National Day Calendar missed one, apparently.
-
A Tale of Two Blurbs...
-
Or that sci-fi/horror classic, A Tale of Two Blobs...
-
Where the blobs eat the blurbs.
-
And everything else in their wake.
-
Those voracious blobs.
-
One of the blobs is named Bob.
-
His friends call him Bob the Blob.

My thought exactly! :)
-
Good morning, all!
-
Bad night of aches and restlessness. I slept well until 1:45 when all the tsuris began. Every time I sat up to stretch my legs, Thatch jumped onto the bed and lay in the warm spot I'd abandoned so when I lay down again, he was in my way. Then Annabelle arrived from her bookshelf aerie, and soon I was sharing/fighting for space with three cats. Ordinariy this doesn't bother me, but I had one bitrch of a time settliong with three crazyt felines bewing uncooperative.
-
I have no plans at all today, and I plan to do little but lounge, read some of Kritzer World, and probasbly doze.
-
DR ELMORE that sounds like a very nice day.
-
Glad to hear that the second important envelope arrived.
-
I liked that clip DR singdaw.
-
:)
-
I forgot to mention that on Tuesday when I went to Dollar (25) Tree, a news store had opened in the space beside it where a health food store had been.
The letters on the brick wall above the front door spelled out one word:
GUNS
And in the window was a hand lettered sign that read:
Girl Scout Cookies.
-
Sign fall down and go boom DR singdaw.
-
Trying to choose my revolutionary costume for the day.

Good morning, all.
-
It’s Saturday, and thus begins my last free weekend for a while.
-
Enjoy DR CHAS SMITH.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning.

-
Good morning.
-
Nice blurbs in the notes.
-
:)
-
Good day, crew.

Lying with my youngest, who has some virus or other.
-
BK, did you have a pre-existing relationship with Randal Kleiser or just reach out on a whim? Cool blurb.
-
Lying with my youngest, who has some virus or other.
I hope he feels better soon and that you stay well.
-
Thank you. It’s my girl. My wife always fears appendicitis but I think there’s been something going around, and she has flu-like symptoms.

Those are terrific blurbs for your book, BK!
They are indeed.
-
Three!
-
Such is the stuff dreams are made of?
The quote is on, not of.
The pedant has spoken.
-
Or that sci-fi/horror classic, A Tale of Two Blobs...
It was the best of blobs, it was the wurst of blobs.
-
Thank you. It’s my girl. My wife always fears appendicitis but I think there’s been something going around, and she has flu-like symptoms.
Is there a lot of that in her family?

Well, speaking of appendixes, Rosie O'Donnell told the story about the time when she was a kid and she wanted to get out of school for something. She'd heard that if someone has appendicitis and you push on the appendix, there's no pain. But when you release the pressure, that's when it's painful. So, when the doctor pressed on her belly where her appendix is, it wasn't until he released the pressure that she (fake) screamed, and she got her appendix removed...and nothing was wrong with it!

Her and her mom both had them removed. Though I’m told it’s not hereditary. We’re at the ER in Bellingham now.
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten and a half hours of sleep - maybe even eleven. I needed it.
-
Barry Pearl had given me a copy of Randal's book of director sketches he's done over the years and Randal had inscribed it to me very nicely. So, I e-mailed Barry and asked him to ask Randal if he'd blurb and he said he'd be very happy to.

It's raining out.
-
But I have to go out and do the food thing.

Still on page four.

I am now at the South Puget Sound Community College, working concessions for their production of Variations on Falling (https://spscc.edu/about/news-awards/spscc-theatre-collective-presents-variations-falling), by Alexis Calma.
-
You sure keep busy, DR George.
-
Me, I like to stay at home.
-
Happy as a bug in (on?) a rug.
-
It was sn*wing just a little while ago, but it's magically (and fortunately) turned into rain.
-
I may have gotten that one wrong too, DR John G.
-
Just call me Mrs. Malaprop.
-
My many-generations-removed Amazon tablet has been updating for a week, but finally my iTunes library is synced and up to date.
-
Whew!
-
The latest addition is the Betty Buckley four-song EP of Sunset Boulevard, which seems to have become available just recently.
-
I have the CD. Somewhere.
-
I know that DR Matthew is a big fan of this show.
-
I know that DR Matthew is a big fan of this show.
I got to see Betty Buckley in the show on Broadway! :D
-
And I have that 4-track CD, also. :)
-
Well, 25 or so minutes until the show starts.
-
Good morning!
-
Or something
-
This morning I woke a put in a load of laundry
-
Then I took off my heart monitor and put it and the receiver thing on charge ( as instructed to once a week)
-
Then I made myself breakfast
-
Vixdad wasn’t hungry
-
So since I had leftover mashed potatoes I fried them up in butter and firmed it into a little nest .
then when it was nice and bubbling and browning a bit around the edges I broke two eggs in the middle, and sprinkled them with my beloved Penzey’s Sunny Paris
Then I covered it until the white was cooked through but the yolk is still soft enough to run into the taters
-
Fresh out of the pan
-
Ready to eat
-
Mmmmmm, comfort food
-
Especially since it’s been pouring down with rain all day and night
-
Then I had a nice hour long chat with a FB friend in a France who will be coming to New York this summer for her first visit.
-
We had fun planning things for her to see and do.
-
Then I had a little zoom visit with my friend in England
-
Then it was time to run over to my Moms house for a bit.
-
She and I spent an hour on a video call with the Vixter and Vixhubby while Vixson slept peacefully in his mama’s arms the entire call.
-
Tomorrow is his 1 month birthday.
-
His parents plan to have a little cake to celebrate
-
Selfishly they are refusing to share any with the birthday boy
-
Then I changed the curtains in all my mothers windows
-
Well, in 10 of the windows
-
She has vertical blinds in the others so they don’t have curtains
-
Then I went grocery shopping for things I didn’t realize we needed when I went shopping Friday night
-
It was nearly 6 by time I got home, soaked because I left my umbrella in the office Friday
-
DR vixmom - I want to eat breakfast - well, ANY meal, really - at your house.
-
So I made a hot pot of tea for Vixdad and myself
-
I got to see Betty Buckley in the show on Broadway! :D
Cool, DR George.
-
At this point I suddenly realized I never put my monitor back on…it was only supposed to charge for 90 minutes
-
So I’m probably going to get told off for messing up the study
-
S I went and reattached the apparatus and made my dinner
-
Vixdad is feeling a bit poorly so he just wanted soup.
-
I finished the last of the pork loin, mit gravy, made some mashed potatoes and pickled red cabbage ( mit caraway seeds!) it was delicious
-
Then Vixdad made us a pot of hot tea
-
So I’m probably going to get told off for messing up the study
I do hope not.
-
And we watched a Midsommer murders and a Columbo
-
Oh geez, I still haven’t Wordled today!
-
I better get right in that!
