HEALING VIBES TO DC EBONIE!!
Fun vibes for DR GINNY and DH RICHARD!!!
Piano playing vibes for DR JOSE - perhaps you will spot an adult today. Please let us know what is the most interesting outfit you see today - and the most unfortunate song choice.
DR CILLA LIZ - I think DR BEN is right.....the cable OR flash drives.

And the word of the day is: OSSIFY!
Last night, I finished watching BASIL DEARDEN'S LONDON UNDERGROUND, the new 4-movie set from Criterion.
Good writing, direction and fine performances from actors who knew how to speak in a way that the audience could understand what they were saying. [Is that a lost art?]
The only problem with the movies is that they are fifty years or more old, and they deal with issues like racism and homophobia in ways that are very outdated in today's world.
That aside, all four movies employ good storytelling, are very entertaining and well worth a look.
For the record, they are SAPPHIRE, THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, VICTIM and ALL NIGHT LONG.
I have been thinking about TCB all morning
(((((((TCB)))))))
Hi, TCB! Hope you're feeling well today.
Hi, TCB! Hope you're feeling well today.
Hi Kevin! Enjoy New York. I am not very good today. Food poisoning or stomach flu; but as they say, "This too will pass."
New York vibes for DR KEVIN H. Really enjoy reading about your visit.
As DR Ben said, I'm going to a wedding today (at 5:30 pm).
When I'm in NYC, it's my policy to see a show whenever possible, so I'm off to Mary Poppins. I have seen it before, but didn't have a very good seat.
I was able to get a discount ticket in the 2nd row of the mezzanine. Luckily the show starts at 1 pm, leaving me plenty of time to get ready for the wedding.

Would that be SAPPHIRE by Push the author of PRECIOUS?
After breakfast (and the real reason for the road trip), we got back into the car and headed back south to Ikea. We were there for a little over an hour and my sister got three shelf units.
Guess what I'll be doing today. :P
Had a very nice impromptu visit with Kevin H. last night. He came over to the apartment for a bit and then we went to dinner at Good Stuff Diner (we have been there before with Amy and Larry and Jose and others of the HHW gang). He then went off to see Phantom of the Opera with Hugh Panaro. Tomorrow he's going to a friend's son's wedding at Chelsea Piers.

Susannah York has died at the age of 72.

No. It's a British murder mystery.
Susannah York has died at the age of 72.
Very sad. I thought she was terrific.
This is Cableone. I've called them and they have many reports and are out repairing. Actually I'm wondering if they are upgrading, when it comes on it's a lot faster. Maybe that's just because no one else is on it right at the moment

That's some mighty purty coffee, George.

The drinks are all very pretty.

I should have known I was going the wrong way when Sherlock refused to follow me.
KevinH, I'm envious. I love those trips to New York where you cram in as many shows as you can. I saw Hugh Panero on one such trip, but it was in "Side Show."

DR Jane, reading this line really scared me.
I thought you were going to encounter some dangerous wild animal or something.
Is anyone watching the Globes tonight?
Oh, I did see The Kids Are All Right this year, forgot about that one
I thought you were going to encounter some dangerous wild animal or something.
Gosh, there hasn't been a sighting of a cougar since December & the bears are hibernating. ;)
I shouldn't be able to get lost for long. All trails eventually lead down where I can find my way again. They also all lead up where I know my way except I would then be at the wrong parking area.

We have it to watch. Did you like it?
About how I felt, thought I really enjoyed Julianne Moore's performance. Annette Bening was a bit too one-note irritating. Don't understand why she's getting all the press.Oh, I did see The Kids Are All Right this year, forgot about that one
We have it to watch. Did you like it?
I don't remember exactly, if that means anything. I remember the movie, I think I didn't love it, didn't hate it. Could have missed it and life would have still been just as fulfilling :D
I hope you have good weather for your drive.
watching Bill Cosby on cable - routine filmed in the 70's - it is still hysterical!
What happened to Annette Benning's hair?

Hybernation didn't cross my mind, lol. Well I still worry about you out on the trails. I also wasn't thinking that Sherlock was just waiting for you to come back, I thought may be he sensed danger.

Ok, the dresses, I think Sandra Bullock looks frumpy, she should have done something with her hair
Is this your murder trial you are going to this week, Cillaliz?
Seems the only site I can connect to is HHW :)

I love those trips too. I need to plan out my trips for the year. I'm planning to go to DC in May to see A TIME TO KILL. Rupert is adapting it from the book for the stage. I missed his last two shows in San Diego, so have decided I will make it to DC. It's actually a lot cheaper and easier to get there from here than it is to go to San Diego

Ok, I'm switching to Worst Cooks in America

I could be a STAR!
I can't go to DC until after our Historic Preservation Week. I can't remember what I volunteered to do, but I know I agreed to do something, lol. anyway, it's the first week in May I think
GOLDEN GLOBES SPOILERS
"Sons of Anarchy" star Katey Sagal snagged the best actress in a dramatic TV series award, her first Golden Globe win after being up for an award five times before. She was first given a Globe nod for playing Peggy Bundy on "Married with Children." She's shocked...but prepared, ha!
GOLDEN GLOBES SPOILER
Chris Colfer grabbed the Golden Globe for best supporting actor in a TV series

George, was your breakfast vegetarian, meaty, or vegan?
These people were competing against each other? Modern Family is a comedy & Temple a movie. I'm confused.
