Yes, DR JOSE - the TV is going in to the Fixit Center somewhere.  The girl on the phone had a Southern accent, so I don't know for sure.  I will check the address on the label when it arrives.

DR LAURA...that might be a good suggestion in the summer time.....but since I am not in rehearsal for a show or writing anything right now....I need my TV....or at least my DVD's.

And of course, I have to take this TV back to WalMart because the bottom third of the picture is all BLUE.....

Good Evening!

So... I had a good walk.  Just a little over three miles.  I was thinking about making a round trip, but...  Since the M10 bus just happened to come by, well.. ;)

Yom Kippur is over, and I got my first tax return of the post-holiday evening done in the last hour.

So I can eat now?  Yes or no?

Has the sun set on your coast?

I'm leaving work.  I need to go to Costco, then go home and do some much needed laundry.  Now that I don't have rehearsal tonight, I can wash my clothes. :D

The wonderful actress Eileen Herlie has died.  I think we should all listen to her sing "If you Promised Me A Rose" on the OBC of TAKE ME ALONG. She is so wonderful on that recording.

I ate.  It was really good and I am really stuffed.  I used small amounts of the only stuff that could be considered fattening, so I'm fine and dandy.  And I shall have four count them four chocolate Twizzlers.

Ugh! I need to finish the appeal brief I was working on last night.  I just can't get motivated to do it but tomorrow is Friday! Woo and hoo.  I'm not taking Monday off but the Federal Court is closed. I need to check on state court.  It will be a nice day if no courts are in session.

Project runway question - not necessarily a spoiler, but to be on the safe side

So we've learned from the news media that six designers from Project Runway actually presented during Fashion Week at Bryant park.   Does that mean that these shows we've been seeing lately (like last night's, which I'm watching again now) actually were filmed after Fashion week?  So that when the person kicked off this week says strongly that their work will be seen - or something like that - they actually know they will be seen in Fashion Week, but as one of the Final 6 if not the Final 3?

hmmm, I must have thought I heard that person say something the first time the show aired that he or shoe actually didn't say!!! But I am wondering when these latest episodes were filmed relative to Fashion Week.

Actually....

Possible spoiler possible spoiler possible spoiler I think it was actually five people who showed at Fashion Week - the four finalists and Suede.  All the interviews were done right after they were eliminated, before Fashion Week. However, since it's become sort of an open secret and protocol for more than just the finalists to show at Fashion Week, I think that the final group of contestants know that they're going to get to show regardless.  They show "extra" collections in order to throw the audience off.  So, there have been leaks about who was 'shown', but no one really knew who was in the finals.  As for people saying that "they will be seen", I think they're just stating that someday they will have a showing at Bryant Park.  -In fact, there have been a couple of former contestants who have shown at Fashion Week since appearing on the show. End of possible spoiler end of possible spoiler.

I may have to wander over to the Shake Shack after work.

Ooooh... Well, just get the regular Chocolate or Vanilla Frozen Custard.  The Chocolate Candied Corn Frozen Custard was just their Chocolate FC with some Candy Corn mixed in.

However, they are in the midst of "Shacktoberfest", so you could really splurge on a "German Chocolate Cake Concrete".  :)

Or you could also get their 'Shroom Burger"...

Oh thank goodness.  For a moment I thought that was the German Chocolate Cake Concrete - with tomatoes and lettuce! :P

Nope, that's just their 'Shroom Burger: "(vegetarian) Crisp-fried portobello filled with meunster and cheddar cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato and Shack sauce."

However, you can order a Concrete for dessert. :)

Tabatha hosts a TV show where she takes over a salon that's not successful and makes it work.

I suspect that this week's salon didn't really want to  change, but just did it for the free makeover.

Don't know why, just a gut feeling
