Laura would be much higher than 10,000 postings, but started anew when we had the board meltdown.

Strange morning. Was supposed to do a phone interview, but the number I was given is wrong. And the man who set up the interview has turned his phone off. So, needless to say, the story won't get done on time.

And, thankfully, my lower back is feeling a bit less twinge-y this morning. Aaahh...

Is this a major problem?

Not for fee. It's a freelance piece and the guy who gave me the wrong number is the one who is supposed to get the story. His fault. Not mine.

Yes and shocking at the same time.  I understand how people are lost in the country but not in a city, but then in a city with so many homeless people he could be anywhere & people will pass him by.  He is a diabetic without his medication.

DR elmore - I keep meaning to ask you: With your love of French operetta, do you have a working - or more than working - knowledge of the French language?

It's a working one. I can barely speak it - my accent is dreadful with its southern Ohio twang - and I certainly couldn't understand a French conversation, but I can read it.

:( At least she's in heaven now. How ironic that there was a baptism the day of her wake...

Well, I'm off to my sister's for a while.  She wants me to help her to move a bed but it's been raining...hopefully, she has a tarp to cover it all. ::) I hope that I'm back in time for the Emmy Awards!

Have a good day, all!

I am glad to see that the Emmy's are being shown live on the West Coast.  They used to be tape delayed.  Now if CBS would do the same for the Tony's, I would be a much happier camper.
