Tomorrow the city is having an ecycling event, as in recycling electronics. I have a ton of old printers, fax machine from my old office..as in my office in the 1990s. and a bunch of stuff that is WAY out of date, so I'm going to load up the car and get rid of it tomorrow. Can't wait. I actually have 2 days without anything that HAS to be done for the office. I can breathe

I'm so confused. So a defendant can be charged hundreds of thousands in Florida for police work, but then shouldn't a person found not guilty also get their full attorney's fees paid. I'm not sure I understand what's going on with the Casey Anthony judge and when it will stop. Almost sounds like the judge didn't agree with the jury's verdict on the overall case and is trying to make a point on the lying issue.

FJL, they're charging it as restitution for the false info case. It's bogus, but happens all over the country.

Back from a fun session in the editing room - we spent most of the time smoothing out sound levels but I won't know until Monday when I get a new DVD whether it's smooth enough or whether we went TOO far in bringing down some of the song levels - several of them were wildly louder than the dialogue levels, so hopefully what we did worked.

Then it was on to the Smoke House. Company was, as always, deelightful, and the food was yummilicious. I had a cup of clam chowder (the best), three small pieces of the garlic cheese bread (less than half of the top of a loaf of a subway sandwich foot long), and the seafood Louis with a little too much dressing, but boy was it good. I'm very full but it was my only meal o' the day.

Sometime last week, my sister asked if I wanted to walk with her and my niece in the Thurston County AIDS Walk. I said sure...I've done it before. Actually, I'd only participated once before, in 1998. I was in our (then) annual "Babes With Big Hair" AIDS benefit revue and many of our cast participated. There was also a famous person guest, the then current Miss America, Kate Shindle! I actually got her autograph on a t-shirt, and I still have it somewhere.

Well, this year's event is happening tomorrow morning. I need to get to my sister's house by 9:00 am...which is not as early as the 8:00 start time for the All Staff Training Day that I went to on Wednesday. The whole course is only supposed to be 5 km, which is just over 3 miles. A couple of months ago, I and the family walked about 4 miles at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, so this will be a bit easier.

Anyway, I put a donation sheet for the walk at work and I got $110! AND people actually paid! We have to bring all the money to the event tomorrow, so everyone who donated had to pay me by today, which they did.
