The movie he showed was "Movers & Shakers" -

I dropped an email to TCM since DR RLP so graciously suggested I do so rather than bother everyone at HHW about it, and when I get a response I will keep it to myself.

DR Sandra and I went to See's Candy to get some truffles for my MIL. They gave us yummy samples. Mine was a caramel.

At the moment I'm letting a See's dark chocolate milk ball melt in my mouth.

Now I want some candy.

Casey's General Store sells truffles at 3/$1.

Almost time for Pwoject Wunway here in the EST zone.

So my guess is there is no Bread or Charmin on the shelves of any store in the area.  ;D

I had a nice long, fun chat with Danise tonight.  It gets sort of lonely being home all day by herself, so remember she can’t post but she can talk on the phone. ;)

Oooh. Pretty. Thanks, Jane.

Ginny, I feel the same way about our summer monsoon storms. I love them, but only if we are all safe inside.

I think he was the one on the bottom & the girl is above him.  This was taken the night after our first Portland HHW gathering.  They sort of slept with me that night, more like periodically ran over, around & even snuggled inside my pj's.  I loved it. :)

Thank you DR Laura.  Bryan is done with is finals and was able to bury Monkey today.  He had trouble concentrating on his exams & presentation, I hope it didn't blow it.  He was planning on sending updates to the medical schools & letting them know he continues getting top grades.  This waiting is very difficult.

DR Laura-I have more snow photos, all from previous years.  They are too large to post from this computer.  I'm not sure why.  I thought when Keith transferred the photos to my computer he also transferred the software to downsize them.  I'll have to ask if it can be done.  I can always email them.

You can email them large. The larger the better. If I can have permission to use them in PowerPoint.

There were some tense moments, but we got through what needed to be done.  Perhaps next Monday's rehearsal will be better,  I had a good time hanging out with Kelli O'Hara and Joanna Gleason.

The people seem to be fine.  One woman (Kitty), her bottom floor was flooded, but I don't know how bad the total damage is. :-\ She was able to come into work today, though.

My supervisor (also named George) lives in Montesano, which is (normally) about a 45 minute commute.  He was only able to come in today for a couple of hours before he heard that the highway that he takes was going to close.  He left before I got here this morning, otherwise, today was the first day this week that he's been able to come in.  We have a meeting tomorrow with a vendor, but I don't know if it can happen.  I'm supposed to be in the meeting, but only to probably answer some questions, not to really have anything else to do with it.

Jane, this is absolutely gorgeous!  This would make a beautiful computer desktop wallpaper.  Would you mind e-mailing me the large version?

Lovely snow scenes, Jane. My neighborhood is white now, too. I do think it's beautiful.

There are no See's candies outlets here, but I may as well ask:
what are everyone's favorites?

Time for me to go home...actually, to my sister's house.  My niece Hilary has a job interview tomorrow for a page position at one of the library branches and she wants to know more about what pages do.  I'll try to help her as much as I can, but I haven't been a page for almost 20 years.

Anyway, any and all Job Vibes for Hilary will be MOST appreciated! :D

Tonight's episode of LIFE was really wonderful! You West Coasters are in for a gripping, moving, and very quirky episode.

Interesting challenge on Pwoject Wunway tonight.  The designers this year, from what little I know about sewing, seem to be having some problems.

I might have gone a different way with the elimination, however.
