DR td I met Mr. Rooney at Barnes & Noble (sry). He's little. He was signing copies of his book. Two people on my Christmas list should be pleasantly surprised-hopefully.

The winter pictures are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Of course I'd enjoy them more if I were in Florida....

I should probably head to bed, too. We have a 7:45 call in the morning. We're performing at 10:00 and 1:00 and then we pack up and move on to Benton Harbor, MI, which is apparently on the other side of the state. OY! Lord, I'm missing the Dayton Crowne Plaza already...

Thank you for the travel vibes, Dear Elmore, TCB, Laura, Sing, Fred and SWoody! We made it here fine. I think my tummy upset was from going to bed after 2 and getting up around 5. But it's only 9PM now and I'll be going to be soon, so I should be able to catch up.

We went straight from the airport to our first rental house to pick up a monitor. We drove down Fairfax, so I suggested we go to the Farmer's Market. for lunch. bk had suggested several places but we opted for Dupar's since we have many of the same other restaurants in Atlanta.

I hadn't been to Dupars for many year, but it was good and we didn't have to wait for a table.
We picked up our monitor and then had to drive all the way to the San Fernando Valley to pick up the lights.

Then we headed to Palm Springs, home of Johnny Mercer's daughter, whom we'll interview tomorrow.

And it got dark way earlier than at home!

Lovely kitty photos from the in-transit DR EDISAURUS.

I miss them already. I hope the cat sitter is keeping them warm! It's in the low 30's at home.

In honor of ask bk day, I asked him where we should lunch. I'm glad we didn't go to the Cheesecake Factory because that's where we went to dinner tonight. I had pork tenderloin and mac 'n' cheese, which was enough for 3 people. The mac was yummy and probably had 1,000 calories. I ate about 1/4 of it and shared the rest.

Good Evening!

I swear... I only had to "work" one hour yesterday, and only for about 10 minutes today, but I end up getting quite busy with other stuff once I'm done with my work.

After playing for my friend's agent audition at 2:00 today, we headed over to Starbucks for a post-mortem and some coffee - and that was at 2:15.  However, after we had finished our kibbutzing, I decided to run an errand... which led to another errand... Then I got a call from my parents reminding me that they were coming up on Friday to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular... Which then reminded me that I had yet to pick up their house seats that I had arranged through a friend of mine... So, I had to meet him at the RCMH stage door...  Then it turned out that I had to make a stop a casting director's office to pick up some music... Then I remembered I had some music in my bag for another friend, so I stopped by his rehearsal... Etc., etc., etc.

WHEW!

However, after all of the running around, I eventually met up with Michael for dinner - Chinese/Vietnamese - before we headed over to the Lunt-Fontanne to catch tonight's performance of Disney's The Little Mermaid...
