Actually, I'm glad you told me.  I have the same problem with capital and principle, and as I typed "compliment," I was wondering if I'd chosen the correct one.

Yoy You are not alone - I always notice word's with which I have the most difficulty:

economics - one c
amendment - one m
accommodate - double c double m

I keep complimentary and complementary straight by remembering that compliment feeds the ego.

the principal is your pal
the capitol has a round dome

If only some one would work out a way to keep stationary/stationery straight!

Ask BK:

Have you ever considered do a CD of songs from musicals based on the works of Charles Dickens?

And if you did would you call it: The Dickens You Say?

My GaGa used to like to go on nature walks and look for birds. She liked to say "There's nothing I like better than taking a little tramp in the woods".

This story was being discussed on air today:

NEW YORK STATE SENATOR WANTS TO BAN IPODS FROM CROSSWALKS
Quote
The bill would levy a $100 fine against those who use iPods, cell phones and BlackBerrys while in a crosswalk in all of New York's major cities. WNBC reported that the ban would only be in effect in Buffalo and New York City.

One commentaor observed that the ban should also apply to crossing streets in stiletto heels.
