Welcome Jane! Spread the word via e-mail that we're up and running and it should be for everyone now. They may have to refresh.
I tried clicking on "next", thinking there might be a next page, but it gave me the previous page, ie, last night's. When I clicked on "previous" it gave me a page from 2008. But my first post went through just fine.
MBarnum, if you click on the Haines His Way at the very top left it will take you to the main site and the notes.
Good Evening!!! Cool new board!

Yes, next would only apply if we were on page two, and if we were on page two and you used previous it would take you back to page one.

This looks easier, will do so now. I often read the notes after catching up.
I do want a larger one.
Read my lips: REFRESH YOUR BROWSER OR CLEAR YOUR CACHE - they are there, I just saw them and have BEEN seeing them for the past thirty minutes.

Adriana's on the Case Again and Boy am I Glad She Is!, May 30, 2013
This review is from: Murder at the School Musical (Hardcover)
Murder at the High School musical, the latest installment in the Adriana Hofstetter mystery series is truly a delight. Adriana once again finds herself in the middle of a mystery and isn't going to be happy until it's solved. This time one of the stars in the school musical, The Music Man, disappears and no one has a clue what happened to her. You're in for a great ride as Adriana chases down leads and searches for the answers. For those who haven't read any other books in the series, Adriana is a quirky modern day Nancy Drew who you just can't help but love. Bruce Kimmel does a great job of telling the Adriana mystery tales without the sex and bad language found in so many books these days. It's a great read for everyone from junior high through adult. Whether you loved Nancy Drew or read all of "The Cat Who....." You'll love Adriana Hofstetter mysteries. I highly recommend them all.
Read my lips: REFRESH YOUR BROWSER OR CLEAR YOUR CACHE - they are there, I just saw them and have BEEN seeing them for the past thirty minutes.
I thought that was optional. Now I have to call Keith for help-lol

Love Cilla's review!
Love Cilla's review!
There are two references to HHW at the top. I believe only the larger one will take you to the Notes.
I also REALLY like the new radio show player!!
Love Cilla's review!
So do I!
How fast can we get to page 30?
I out of town guests have just crossed the border from California into Oregon. They should be here very soon. I won't be able to post much while they are here.

I'm afraid the spell-check will take so much character out of Vixmom's posts. Maybe we'll have to ask her not to use it. Her typing is a HHW running gag.
Jane, go to the notes the old way, then click at the bottom to go to the discussion board. Once you're back here you should be able to click the top of the page and go back to the notes. Don't know why it worked for me, but it did when clearing the cache and refreshing did not
Cilla, amazon has made it really easy to edit a review if you want to fix the title.
Danise...have you been cooking a lot in your really cool kitchen?
Hi DR Jane!
Danise...have you been cooking a lot in your really cool kitchen?I am really enjoying it. It's taken longer than I thought to get things the way I want them but it's getting there.

AN EARLY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DR JANE & HER DH KEITH!!
Today is my friend Paul's 65th birthday. We had cake this afternoon. He's going to have a party later in the summer so it was fairly low key.
This is really turning out to be a GREAT year! New kitchen, new septic tank, new HHW Board and maybe soon a new place and washer and drier.

But surely it shouldn't take me back to 2008.
Be sure to click on your own name and go to your profile, then look and layout, where you have all kinds of options to play with.
Ahhhhhh, that "Total Time Logged In;" is that calculated back to when we first signed in during the last century?

Jane, unless you're on a Mac, about which I know nothing, you should be able to just hit F5 and that will refresh your browser.
BK, did I misunderstand? For some reason, I thought you had said that after we post we would be taken back to where we had been. I guess that was wishful thinking.
First I want to saw I like the new look very much. Right now I am listening to the radio show. However I also wanted to read the notes and listen to the show at the same time, but when I clicked on the archive button to get today's notes, it disconnects the show. Is it possible to perhaps have the radio show open in a new window so we can peruse the site without having to open a new window ourselves?

Please be specific. Where do you go after you post. You should end up right back where you were and see the post you just made. Is that not happening. I believe that function was made universal and that I would have heard about it had that not been the case.

Saturday is our 44th anniversary. I don't feel that old. :o
Why is it so hard for someone to go to the home page of this board, scroll to the bottom and tell me if they see Users Online?

I had to change my password because I couldn't remember my old one since I never log out.. But it wasn't hard to do.
Ok now I've done my first modify. ;D

It's never ever been like that - you're always taken to the last post, which is the one you just made. That hasn't changed on this board.
And where are the PM's
Guess how many spam registrations we've had since going live and with our new captcha feature? 0.

Mikey, I love your new gown!
But it kind of clashes with my shiny party hat.
Chas, as regards the "new" thing - can you try something - on the list of topics you'll see a button at the top that says "mark read" - click on it and see if that takes away the "new" buttons on all the old topics. My concern is that it will also take it away for the current one, but try it and you can always click it back to unread.
See if this post displays as new and then let me know.
Why is it so hard for someone to go to the home page of this board, scroll to the bottom and tell me if they see Users Online?
Tommy,
Did you get your mail?
Captcha is when someone tries to register, they now have to type in a series of numbers and letters that appear on the registration page. Most spambots can't do it and therefore most of the spam registrations disappear - and boy have they.

Very nice Cilla!!
No quotes under our posts any more?
Today is my friend Paul's 65th birthday. We had cake this afternoon. He's going to have a party later in the summer so it was fairly low key.
Birthday greetings for Paul. I am glad you two are back being good friends.
Those were always under our photos. It's the one under the posts that I used to change all the time. Yours was "I have rolled with the first class."
There should be a "like" option - like that other site has :)
They just interviewed on the news this priest from Bremerton (west of Seattle) who has very outrageous theories regarding what causes homosexuality. He has written this letter to his parish in regards to the Boy Scouts allowing gay youth to become members. The worst part isn't so much these opinions (I have heard them before), but rather the fact that is not an old priest, but a young and very handsome man. He is going to open his own version of Boy Scouts, minus those gay youth. A very closed mind.
Yes, we must be very careful with the thumbs down thing or I'll remove it. Remember karma? :)
George, come back soon. Having to go even half a day without our wonderful family was torture!

Happy 65th to Paul!
Isn't it fun having your avatar on the main page of the board?
Of course, the easiest way to do what Shayne is proposing, is to play the radio show, open a NEW WINDOW and go back to the site and read the notes in the second window - problem solved.

really nice
I like the new smiley faces :o
Too Late Blues , arrived.
Yea.
Will listen to the cd in the car tomorrow.
Night everyone.
Mega vibes.
Smiley faces.
Hey, you can do thumbs up, thumbs down and all sorts of things next to the reply # that's kind of fun
Finally you bad zulu boy.
It's the voodoo I tell ya....it's the voodoo!
I have to say, this all happened much faster than I could have hoped for - I was stressing all day about it so when they called to say we'd gone live around three-thirty, I literally jumped for joy. And I will have much fun writing tonight's notes.
