DR Tomovoz - I was actually a little hesitant addressing the package the way I did.  I wasn't sure if Customs and/or the Post Office would process a parcel where the recipient's last name(s) were not on the label.

*That reminds me, I should head back to post office to see if the clerk went ahead and contacted his family in Christmas this time round.

DR Sarah - I'd started calling you "SmartySarah" instead of "SwishySarah", but "Smarty" just doesn't have the same cute ring that "Swishy" does.

Well, the Mendelssohn Octet finished a few minutes ago on NPR's classical overnight program - what a very vibrant, and youth-full piece of music!

And as the 3:00 hour approaches..  I shall see you all anon...

Goodnight.

44 degrees and the man says it's "REALLY cold"???  Silly Californians. :D  That would be our warmest temperature in the last month!

Still -2 here, to drop somewhere from -10 to -15 by morning.

Oh, I forgot - DR MBarnum - I do remember watching that soap opera.  However, I don't remember anything about it now.  BUT I do remember watching it!  *My father is a Knight of Columbus, and we used to help out with the after-Mass coffe hour.  -Which is where I first discovered the pleasures of Krispy Kreme Donuts - and that was back when they used to make all kinds of flavors!  How I miss the maple-glazed!
