Did you do the Roomba!

der Brucer

Gee sounds like Letterman at the Oscars: Obama, Roomba" Roomba, Obama!

No the Roomba doesn't work very well and takes a long time. Something I didn't have much of

NEWS FLASH

Rare dinosaur fossils have been unearthed in a pre-school playground in Arizona. Scientists from the Smithsonian are enroute to investigate.

In other news from the Copper State: a perky brunette was found wanding about the desert near Interstate 8. The lass seemed disoriented and kept taking about tap-dancing aliens. She has been flown to Portland, Oregon to be treated at the Frances Farmer clinic.

Cilla - No organic flour for the red velvet cake this time, just normal cake flour.

Amy and her DH Greg left about 2:30 to catch their show.  Party completely broke up about 20 minutes ago.  Jose came by for an hour or so and had the last of the cake.

Safe travel vibes to Amy and DH Greg.  How wonderful to finally meet these delightful people.

Oh boy, my research trip today was long (9:30-1:30), depressing, and no fun, but I got alot of great stuff for the book, so I guess it was worth it.

Back from a delightful Palm Sunday in Cincinnati.  After church, DH Richard, DS Rob, and I went to Daybreak for brunch - they had breakfast-type foods and I had a Maurice salad.  Then we stopped at Busken Bakery, dropped Rob back at UC, visited my mother-in-law, and just got home.  It's a beautiful spring day and it was lovely to be out together as a family.

Ok, I think I'm pretty much ready for them. I'm hoping to get the last load of clothes in the washing machine before they get here, but that may be wishful thinking.   Now, can I get them to watch TAR tonight? Hmmm maybe

The sun came out today. Funny every time I have left here in 2007 they have had a storm and it has ended every time I come home. Coincidence? I think not :)

Better go, I still have a couple things to do. The upside of this is that I probably would have sat around and relaxed or gone to see Obama and gotten nothing done.  This way all my chores are done and I got the gist of his talk ...they;re here

I simply CANNOT BELIEVE that DR George broke his own cardinal rule and POSTED before reading all previous posts.  It MUST be April Fool's!

Mon dieu!

No...the cardinal rule is to read BK's NOTES before posting on that day...reading previous posts by Hainsies and Kimlets is not actually required. ::)

I am now watching Edisode Two of THE TUDORS.  Doesn't it begin on SHOWTIME tonight?  If you have the station, I recommend it, even with my reservations of last night.  I'm at the part where the Boleyn girls are being pimped by their father.  More dysfunction.

Many interesting things in the basket, including two huge boxes of Russell Stover candies, many See's suckers, a box of Godiva truffles, Hershey's kisses in a Hershey's kisses ceramic jar, other Hershey products, some high-end hot chocolate and many interesting candy bars that I've never heard of.  I should be finished eating it all in about twenty minutes.  April Fools!

Russell Stover in the same basket with See's?  I hope that was an April Fool's joke.

MBarnum I actually paused at your War & Peace post before continuing down to your April Fools.  Silly me, I was pondering if I should be excited you might really read it. ;D

Dan (the Man) while I suspected the webcam was a joke or I was too late to see anything, I was curious- ;D
