Here it is March 25, and I'm sitting in my office with the fan on because it's HOT. Wow!

and i did not even wear a coat to work. At midnight it was still 53 degrees.

DR Cason - Again, you could still receive a call - either way.  Usually, if the people behind the table tell you at the audition that it's between you and someone else, and they will need an extra day to make their decision, that can be an indication that they will call either way.

Do you happen to know if the male ensemble slots were already cast?  Do they hire understudies?

-Oh, is this an Equity house?  Are you an AEA member?

In any case... One other factor in your favor in regards to getting a call is the weekend.  I've worked with many casting associates who don't like to make calls right before the weekend... I mean, who wants to work on a Friday?  ;)

LOL there was a time I thought I "would like totally die" in weather that cold having been raised in sunny LA. Then I went to NY where the wind chill was -4.

I am here to tell the tale!

Actually she qualified that by saying "After Grease Academy, I would....

Last week she said she favored Max and Laura.

They had 4 guys there auditioning for "ensemble" - but I had noted on my audition sheet I'd take anything.

It is an Equity/non-Equity show.  I don't know if the other guy is Equity, which may have given him an edge...

Well, technically, a Bassoon is a woodwind.  I'm not sure what a "Basoon" is.

As for the ages of the Grease castmates, they're all around the same age as Max and Laura.  I have to say the outfits they put them in, as well as their makeup and hair made all of them look a bit frumpy.

It kind of reminds me of those mudflaps with the silhouette of the nekkid girl...

That's what I thought, too! ::)
