Do a quick search on Bobby, DR DAKOTACELT....or listen to clips at Amazon....he was a pop country singer with several hits in the late 60's early '70's....and he had a very distinctive haircut.

I was going to have a tuna sandwich on rye, but decided to hold out for a hero.

Was "Blame it on the Rain" sung by Milli Vanilli?

My lunch plans with my friend have been postponed, so I now have the day to putter around the house and continue visiting here on HHW.

STupid question.... Who is Bobby Goldsboro?

DR DakotaCelt .. I don't think any question is stupid. Thanks for asking. Here's what his web site lists:

Bobby Goldsboro’s career has been a remarkable evolution. This multi-talented performer started out in the early sixties as a guitarist with the legendary Roy Orbison. During his three years with Orbison he traveled all over the world and even toured with The Beatles.

In 1964 Bobby started his solo career by recording the first of a string of sixteen top-forty hits, “See the Funny Little Clown.” One of his first concert bookings had him opening for the Rolling Stones on their first U.S. tour! More million-selling hits followed, setting the stage for 1968 and the classic, “Honey,” which became the largest-selling record in the world! “Watching Scotty Grow,” “Little Green Apples” and “With Pen in Hand” have also become classics.

(Is there recorded evidence of it?)

I guess the cassingles (cassette singles) don't count for the topic of the day.  But my favorites among those were "Nobody" (recorded by Sylvia) and "King of Wishful Thinking."

Sorry I was off getting a new avitar.  I'm still working on it but this one has almost everything I like/love--music (as seen on the dress), a dragon (because I love fantasy/sci fi,) the computer is in the background and (of course) a dog!

DaNiece, I like football, but, well, when your home team is the Cardinals, you kinda quit watching because it hurts.

I just put some peanut butter suet in the feeders in the pine tree, and now my house is the most popular house in the neighborhood.

There's a song called "If You Could See Me Now," which is about someone from heaven telling you what it is like there. I can rarely get through it. I think of my mother.

Hi DR Megan. Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? Did you spend it with your in-laws?

Dinners with my in-laws were interesting: anything could be suspended in jello at their house.

No, but I can still do the routine, and Brad probably can, too.  We rehearsed it enough!  ;D

Well....I can't do the front walkover anymore....  :P

My favorite Bobby Goldsboro song is the now politically incorrect Dreams of the Everyday Housewife.  Followed closely by the cute Watching Scotty Grow.

DR LAURA have you read EMBRACED BY THE LIGHT by Betty J. Eadie.  Very interesting book.  ;D

Hello, everyone.

Yesterday I had to delete a post because it caused a format problem, so I'll repeat myself.

Welcome to new DR Da'Niece!

Condolences to FJL on the loss of his cousin.

No, I haven't. I don't sit still often enough to read a book. I mostly just read the internet.
