Val believes the elevator crew will be finished by the end of the week.  When I walked into the building, I noticed that there is a new control panel installed as well as a new floor indicator above the elevator doors.  It will be a month of work on Thursday and the estimated time was six weeks.

If only Thatch had been featured in a certain movie...  then we could say "He's such a cute little Focker!"

I just got corralled into playing a run-through of ANYTHING GOES tomorrow evening.  In Poughkeepsie.  Where they pick their feet.  Or so I've been told.

Beaumont version.  Which I have here on a PDF.

But have I ever played it?  Never.  I mean, I've played songs from the show, but never a production.  So I guess I know what I'll be doing all day tomorrow.

I'm printing Amazon invoices today so poor Annabelle has been banished to the bathroom.  When I let her out, Thatch and I are moving to a hotel to escape her wrath.

I cannot think of a better way to spend a day. Those blissful Porter melodies.

Agreed!  I wish I could play well enough for something like that.

I saw the Beaumont production on an Easter matinee. Patti LuPone was so much fun and the audience was so in tune with her that several numbers stopped the show, the title song and Blow, Gabriel, Blow. I’ve never seen that before or after.

Went to a local coffee shop, Corky's, that I've been wanting to try.  I had a delicious sandwich - turkey, Swiss, cole slaw and Russian dressing on grilled rye.  Came with four really tiny bite-sized onion rings.  I'll be back.
