Well, you've read the notes, the notes were pleasant and written in the Valley, and now it is time for you to post until the pleasant Valley cows come home.

Topic of the Day:

I've only been to Jersey Mike's a couple of times.  I don't remember what I got the first time, but the last time, I got a meatball sub, which I liked.  I remember that I liked the first sub I got...whatever it was.

I like Subway's Meatball Marinara, Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Italian (but I get all pepperoni and add the sauce from the meatballs to essentially have a pizza sub :D ), and the Subway Melt (which is a Subway Club but with bacon instead of roast beef).  And I like all of those toasted.

A local place that's really good is Meconi’s Italian Subs.  I pretty much just get a Combo sub (chicken, turkey and ham and veggies), Cosmo Style (toasted...why it's called "Cosmo Style", I'll never know).  It's very good, and very close to both where I live and work. ;D

Another place I like is Quiznos, but they're not around here anymore.

And now, I must get my butt (and the rest of me, too) in bed.  I'm going to the exhibition hall (meaning no-cost) portion of the ALA Midwinter Conference in Seattle with some co-workers, and the van leaves at 8:00 a.m.  After I get back, my friend Margo and I are going to the movies, so I'll be gone the whole day.  But I'll be back later.

Have a good day, all!

T.O.D.

I used to have Subway sandwiches all the time, but not since I became gluten free.

It was cold last night, and I had kitties snuggling up to me for warmth until they left me to play,  Then I had to listen to excessive romping before they settled down.  I also had stomach issues, so it was a tough night.  I got up at 9:00, fed the cats and went back to bed.

Thatch seems to be okay now,  Around 9:00 last night I gave him his deli turkey treat and he kept it down, and breakfast (Fancy Feast salmon) was okay, too.  Perhaps he's developing an allergy to chicken hearts and liver?

I've been so down about my finances that I forgot to mention the one piece of good news yesterday.  We will record at the end of March the Encores! production of The New Yorkers.  All I need to do is stay afloat until I receive my payment for the recording.

DR JohnG, there was no listening to I Married an Angel yesterday.  Joshie and I spent the day finishing up the edits for the vocal score. We finished editing the full scores for the the songs and the ballets before Christmas.  Since then we've been creating a vocal score; Joshie enters the piano and vocal parts and then he and I go through the full scores to fill out and cue the vocal score.

What wonderful news. Is the original cast available?

I’m so happy for you and Joshie, Elmore.

I’m in the middle of listening to H.G. Wells’s Ann Veronica, which is highly enjoyable and even LOL funny at times.

I believe most of the cast is available, but they can always overdub later.

That's wonderful. There were some great voices in that cast.

I love that Fred Waring-style version of Love for Sale.

Hell, I loved it all.
