I will be in rehearsal from 2:00-5:00 on Wednesday, so I guess I'll just have to second act The Brain that day.  Now, of course, if there happen to be technical issues, well, then maybe I'll get there right on time. ;)

*But I happened to chat with a few friends last night who are in other NYMF shows right now... And they all had various technical and technician issues during the opening performances over the past couple of days.  For some of them, this was their fourth year in a NYMF show, and they don't ever recall having to deal with this much crap in the past.  -At least from the NYMF personnel.  Usually it's been the production that's been behind.  -Who knows?  Maybe that's what NYMF was counting on.

No rehearsal today, because we have a contract that doesn't allow us to rehearse today and we play by the rules.  I'm going to see The Pacific Quartet, before running off to hear the Such Good Friends trio

Still undecided about the TOD....

However the song of the day.....well.

I am not the only DR who has played Hysterium.  On the Thursday night performance of our second week, the fellows before me messed up the lyrics of "Everybody's Got to Have a Maid"....I came on the join them for the third verse.....my vamp started, we started the choreography....and I forgot EVERY word I was supposed to sing....

Of course FORUM is the type of anything goes show that the audience will support even memory lapses....we finally got back into it.  And then we were joined by the 4th man....Hero's father....who later said "I didn't want to come out...."

Immediately after the song they all ran offstage because it was time for my solo of the evening "I'm Calm"....and as they made their egress I called after them:  "Cowards!"

I love theatre!!

Thank you.  -I have been trying to be "better" lately, but I also know a big part of it has to do with my regular schedule lately.  And the fact that I've had some 'early' - before Noon - mornings.  I eat breakfast every day, and that really does do wonders in regards to my cravings throughout the day.  Yes, I do make it to Levain every now and then, and Amy's Bread, and Crumbs, and Grom, and...  But I'm also back to the old "trick" of not eating past 7:30p.m. whenever that is a feasible thing to do.  *Of course, the four pairs of new jeans I bought a few weeks ago are already starting to feel loose, so... Ah, well... ;)
