Was there a character called Mother Mucca from Winnemucca in the Tales of the City sequel?  Or was that already mentioned here?

Yes, Jane. I went birding very early in the morning, then came home and fixed the dinner I wanted.

And I wasn't able to find a rerun of TORCHWOOD (that I missed on Saturday night) until tomorrow night. That's OK, though, since I'm too busy with other DVDs right now to watch it anyway.
That ep of Torchwood was particularly good, though.  You'll enjoy it.

DR MattH, i know you like BROTHERS & SISTERS. I did not get to see last night's clips episode yet. But i did watch it last season. I didn't like it that much in the beginning. But i found it got much better once calista and the senator got together.

Hmm... I wonder if Mrs. Quaid had anything to do with this:

Love Gone Wrong: Lone Star Love Cancels Broadway Engagement
Mr. Quaid also raised a ruckus about Brokeback Mountain, claiming he was duped about the low likelyhood of the film's success and therefor played his part for a lower salary than he usually charges.  Would he have raised such a ruckus if he hadn't been prompted by said Mrs. Quaid, I wonder?

Loved the Pacifica Quartet.  Man it was crowded, though.  People lining the streets, Fox News trucks, police.  All of this for one tiny chamber concert?  What gives?  You'd think it was if they'd denied the holocaust or something.

Of course, this was before we added all those harmonies and completely changed the tempo, but it's a nice memory.  And, you can see what eight other NYMF shows are like.

Baritone sex.

I just like saying it.

Sounds like one of DR MBarnum's fantasies!

No rehearsal today, because we have a contract that doesn't allow us to rehearse today and we play by the rules.  I'm going to see The Pacific Quartet, before running off to hear the Such Good Friends trio

What sort of contract would preclude you from rehearsing today?  Unless you just worked six days straight.  I don't know any other NYMF show that hasn't played by the not working seven days straight rule, do you?  Unless it's Roller Derby, who hasn't played by any rules - which is appropritate for a show called Roller Derby.

I did run into Noel's star, Brad Oscar, on my way to Fed Ex.  He's such a great guy, and was so complimentary about The Brain - he said he'd gone home and immediately downloaded the album from iTunes and has been playing it ever since.  His partner Diego may come back to see us again this week.

DR Elmore, is the Plaza event open to the public? I would love to hear your arrangement. I can't beleive you're able to turn that around so quickly!

I actually know nothing aboout the event itself.  I'm focused on finishing ASAP.  The piece is 73 pages long, and I just finished page 11.  Took about 3 hours.

Fed Ex was weird.  Their computers wouldn't process any "ground" shipments - the guy before me had the problem and then I did.  I left them my cc number and they're supposed to call me with a tracking number.  I was not thrilled to leave my package there and not have a tracking number.  In fact, I'm going to call over there momentarily.

I saw Lone Star Love years ago at the late lamented John Houseman Theatre.  A not-full house gave it a smattering of applause.  Broadway material, it's not.
