Good morning, all! Yes, DR edi, DAVID COPPERFIELD was made into a second-rate musical in the early 1980s and conducted by my friend Larry Blank with orchestrations, I recall, by the late great Irwin Kostal. The wonderful Carmen Matthews was Aunt Betsy and George S Irving Mr Micawber.
BK, have you called Mr Rodney Gilfry? He'd be good for a BAKER'S WIFE number like "Merci, Madame" or something else. He said to call him about getting together and I left you his number.
Back to Toyland this morning, and after that, who knows?
TOD:
SALEM'S LOT is my favorite vampire story after DRACULA.
THE SHINING terrified me the first time I read it; it was a post-surgery gift from DR Ginny around 1977.
CARRIE is a better film than a book, I believe, but the musical was an abomination.
The short stories and DANSE MACABRE are quite wonderful
I think a lot of Mr King's later novels have good points but suffer from lack of pruning (I thought IT would never end!) that a good, or really strong, editor might have prevented.
