Good idea Jose, I think I'll go watch the dog show I recorded.

I enjoyed the dog show and thought of you, DR Jane.

Hi Cilla, I hope they had a decent looking Bernese Mountain Dog-too often they are just okay looking.  Better just okay, than not one at all.

I thought he (I think it was a he) was beautiful. That's when I thought of you.   They had  a lot of #1 dogs in their breed in this show, so there were many beautiful dogs. I think you'll enjoy it.

SEMI-SPOILER AHEAD....

So.... Did the rest of your movie theatre audience start giggling in "shock" when they started using cellphones... in the subway?!?!?  ;)

No, but I was willing to go ahead with the absurdity.

Well, I am home, and the computer's memory is fine except for the email, which is a mess! I'll call my MacMan tomorrow morning and have him talk me through it.

And speaking of Dogs and Central Park and the Super Bowl...

*It was sort of funny.  When I passed him, he kept looking at me, barking at me.  But as soon as I started taking a picture of him, he would move.  Even his owner was sort of  surprised he didn't "pose".  ;)

After church today, Richard and I went to a new noodle place for lunch and then to look at the church that had the fire Friday night.  It doesn't look too bad, considering.  We then went to Graeter's for some ice cream (coconut chip for him, toffee chip for me) and in my change I finally got a Utah quarter.

We've just had a Super Bowl deli sandwich supper and will watch halftime.

Tom Brady's not having a good night.

Back from Chinese food with Jim, and will now finish the Bollywood movie I started on Friday night...DIL CHAHTA HAI (2001). It is a delightful movie so far and the lead actors are all quite easy on the eyes...and the music ia great...of course I have been enjoying the CD soundtrack for a few years already.

You can see one of the musical numbers here -->  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbOMbbhO4f8

I somehow preferred the Graeter's vanilla to its Buckeye Blitz.

Buckeye Blitz and Butter Pecan were the flavors that stayed partially-eaten in the freezer the longest of the dozen-assortment I had gotten for Christmas/Channukah.

The Buckeye Blitz tasted too busy in a not good way, and the Butter Pecan was so rich it seemed oily.  the other ten flavors were uniformly heavenly.

Obviously, I was not invited over during that time.  ;)

There were some beautiful dogs in the dog show.  My favorite, for the breed, was the Saint Bernard.  He didn't even make it the finals.

In a separate segment from the international competition I thought the black & white Border Collie was exquisite.

The Bernese Mountain dog was very handsome.  I prefer less brown on the face but he had a nice head that could handle the markings & they were beautiful on him.

Sherlock watched most of the show with me.

No.  All those POP mail configurations confuse me.

I had to settle for Chocolate, but I had it with some pretty yummy ginger snaps I bought at the Green Market yesterday.
