Well, you've read the notes, you are on the prowl for FLUFF STRANDS, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they, too, are on the prowl for FLUFF STRANDS and won't come home until they locate some or at least find out what in HELL they are.

I think MBarnum may have interviewed Fluff Strands. He made some great movies in the early 50's.

"The Card" was flop musical. I saw it in its first week. Jim Dale was great. I think the score is better than many others too.

Yes, he was in some pictures with Sonny Tufts.

Well, tonight was opening night of CHARLEY’S AUNT. There is nothing like plying your opening night house with food and wine before the show, to get them in the mood for a comedy. Thanks to my son, Jed’s, delivery; the audience started chuckling from his opening lines, and they didn’t stop laughing until two (+) hours later. A great start to the run (sorry Jrand), but let’s hope we can keep it going.

I think "Fluff Strands" was the code name for a naval exercise in the Pacific. Of course that may have been a navel exercise in the Mediterranean.

Congrats, TCB. That is a funny show. I bought the script when I was prepping for "Where's Charley?" and aside from some characters being combined, it is very much the same except with music, of course.

I saw a play in London called THE VILLAIN'S OPERA by Nick Dear which was a version of The Beggar's Opera set in London's current East End. The Lovely Wife and I loved it. But it was playing to half houses and I don't think either the critics or London audiences enjoyed it as much as we did.

There is a play I read by Peter Shaffer called Gift of the Gorgon that's one of the best plays I've read in the last dozen years. But after it's initial run, I've not see a hide nor hair of a production.

Pogue, our Buccos and Reds met tonight, and my squad came out on top. Unfortunately, a recent swoon has made the Pirates one of the NL's worst teams and we fired our manager. Your Redlegs have actually made some improvements in the second half, and the crime of it is if they were in the NL West with the Dodgers, they would be like, 3 games out of first place in that miserable division.

Our very own BK produced Emily Skinner's solo album and at least one song from the show was recorded! It's not the whole score, but it's something.
