When did the word "amazing" become so overused as to be hackneyed? That is one word I have heard almost every time I have turned on these pre-show programs during the afternoon.

Didn't Jennifer Garner look sensational? Loved that color on her.

The preshow is on already?  I thought it was a half-hour before.  Oh, well, I'll go turn it on.

Yes, you may be right about our record posting night being the Oscars.  Well, here we go!  Our Oscar bash has officially begun.

Who is this idiot with Roger Ebert?  In fact, who is Roger Ebert?  He no longer resembles Roger Ebert and is a living example that not everyone looks good thin.

I noticed tuxes with regular ties was very in at the WGA awards.  They'll be out by next year.  They actually look rather silly compared to the classic tux of Michael Douglas.

And would someone just tell Nicole Kidman to STOP IT.

After that terrible gold dress she wore at the Golden Globes, Nicole Kidman has a better dress this time. Soft, lavender color.

OK, der Brucer and I are back from carousing and having a wondiferous dindin at the Purple Parrot.  We'll be posting from his computer (his study is right off the living room), so I'll be saying it's me when I post.  But we're here to post and par-tay!

Julie Andrews has had too much work done.  It's a little shocking, actually.

Oh, Lord.  I'm sorry, I cannot even try to watch this pre-show.

Who are the 12-year-olds that opened it?   What is with the blaring "music?"  I feel like an old coot of 105.  Feh.

I'm taping the Oscars so later I can see Mitch and Mickey do their song, but that's it.   Think I'll put in a DVD.  Toodles, y'all...

Both Tim and Susan are brilliant actors. I don't care one whit about their politics. Has nothing to do with the work.
