CP-Your day sounds lovely. Keith & I plan to take a drive to Georgetown once our puppy travels well. We will have to make sure he likes cats since our friends there have a few. I’m not sure they are indoor cats as the cats were all strays that found a good place to call home.

I must give him a name. Keith still wants Muzbe

, which most people groan or gag big time when I say Muzbe

. Keith has possibly consented to Mycroft, which so far has not fared much better than Muzbe.

With Craig & his girlfriend’s birthdays coming up I sent off a package to Romania today. It only cost $80 to mail a box of candy, dog & cat toys, candy, seaweed chips, candy, and a few other small items. I’m a horrible mother sending all that candy he doesn’t need. He wanted Red Vines, Swedish fish, sour patch kids, good n plenty & lifesavers. I added some peanut butter M&M’s and Keith added Moose caramel corn with chocolate from Harry & David.

We found the cutest birthday card with a dog that looks very much like their Yogi. Then of course we had to get them a card from the cat.

I finished the interviews on the WILL & GRACE final episode DVD. Since Lionsgate has been so slow releasing the seasons of the show (three more seasons to go so I guess that means it'll take three years to finish collecting the series), I'll make do with what I've got. May start watching from season 1 during the coming week, depending on what other DVDs come in.

It's a big week for new releases.

I didn't stay at the opening very long tonight. I know Paul wanted me to stay longer, but there is only so long you can stare at the same art work. So I said I was too tired and went home. I'm glad I did. It's been a relaxing evening

Then I put in HOW THE WEST WAS WON which took up the majority of the evening. What a marvelously involving movie, one of my all-time favorites!

But it's a movie in DIRE need of an upgrade. Yes, the DVD is a giant leap forward from the less colorful, soft laserdisc, but we're still stuck with a non-anamorphic letterboxed transfer with lots of specks, dirt, and occasional print damage. And the soundtrack is merely Dolby Surround. OK, but the Oscar-winning sound design deserves a better disc representation.

Sad to say, I haven't read anything about Warners doing any kind of upgrade for this movie.

Lastly, I put in THIRD MAN OUT to rewatch. I enjoyed it so much a couple of weeks ago that I thought I'd enjoy a return trip.

Tomorrow, I think I'll revisit TWO FOR THE ROAD when I finish with THIRD MAN OUT. Really would enjoy seeing that again, too.

But then, I NEVER was in Romania at all!

I don't know but cats are two smart to send cards, no?!
