I have to say that the Andre Kostelanetz cover of Flower Drum Song is utterly beguiling and that score remains my favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein score - the tunes are amazing as is the sound of the recording.

I have it on CD and in iTunes but it's mono and there was absolutely a stereo version so I wonder why this is mono? I'll have to check and see if there's any info.

Well, on Sunday (our final Sunday performance) Dan C., the actor who played Louis/Billy Webster, came in and gave me the 2-disc Deluxe Letter-Box (widescreen) laserdisc edition of West Side Story!
