Funny stuff - was nuking stuff from iTunes and came upon two Saint-Saens piano concertos with Philippe Entremont doing the pianistics. I forgot how much I love his playing and these were magnificent performances with the added magnificence of Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra. So, I looked up to see what else was available, as I could see I had two other concertos with him playing. And I came upon a wonderful original jackets box from 2014, which Amazon told me I bought in 2014. So, out to the garage I went and found it right away, brought it in and began loading the other seventeen albums, which I realized I hadn't even gotten around to listening to! Disc one, recorded in 1950 in glorious Columbia stereo sound is Grieg's piano concerto - great performance, coupled with Rachmaninov's Rhapsody, also spectacular.
