ASK BK

Is it necessary these days to have this blurb (or any variations) before a movie starts on DVD or Blu Ray? Some movies with just the movie with no extras have it.

THE FOLLOWING INTERVIEWS AND COMMENTARIES ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY. THE VIEW AND OPINIONS EXPRESSED THEREIN ARE THOSE OF THE INDIVIDUAL SPEAKERS AND NOT NOT NECESDARYILY REPRESENT THE VIEWS AND OPINIONS OF __________(Fill in the company name) OR NY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILTES OR EMPLOYEES.

Is this to protect from a law suit of some kind?

I just found this photo in my collection.  Naturally I didn't give it a title, but I think it must be Butchart Gardens.

I'm enjoying Caroline O'Connor's CD, which she autographed for me after Follies the other night.  And I see that our own DR elmore did the orchestrations for several songs!  I especially like her rendition of "What I Did for Love."

DR KevinH, I did work on both of Caroline's albums. "From Stage To Screen" began as her one-person show and I had a great time working on it.

Wednesday evening greetings from Middletown, Ohio!  Yes, we're home after a very long travel day.  It all went smoothly and we're very tired.  Trying to stay up at least until it gets dark...

Thanks for all the travel vibes!

Welcome Home, Ginny (and Richard)!

My question for ASK BK Day:

Would you consider appearing on a reality contest show if you were asked?

Hmmmm.....well, I wouldn't want to embarrass my family, so maybe not.

Do you really need a reality TV show to do that, DR MBarnum?

::)

Having worked behind the scenes on reality shows, no, I would not be interested in being on one, although I did do the hidden camera bits on the Penn and Teller show, but I was playing a character there.

Had a very nice lunch meeting, then picked up one package and as soon as I got home found another package had been delivered, so I have to go back there now.  I did the four-mile jog and will finish up the commentary when I get back.  Then I've got two fun Blu and Rays to watch tonight.

BK-

I Asked This Yesterday and maybe you missed the question

THE VISIT is being given a Concert Performance In New York Shortly

Is There Any Chance That Kritzerland Can Record and/or Release This On CD?

It's probably too late (and/or too expensive), but It Would Have Been Wonderful (an Annie Warbucks reference). ;D

Would love a recording of Schmidt and Jones' "Grovers Corners," too.

Great link DR MBARNUM....thanks to DR DOUG R for bringing this name to our attention.

Ahem.

And Ahem.

Oh, and by the way, Ahem.

And did I mention Ahem?

Speaking of which, may I just say Ahem.

And just to reiterate, Ahem.

Oh, wait!:  Ahem!

And lest I forget (since you all seem to have  ;D ), Ahem.

Sounds like a nasty cough, you got there, JMK...you should have that looked at.

;)

Is WIT eligable to be nominated for BEST PLAY or does it have to be consider a revival even though this is the forst time on Broadway?

The language when a play was never on Bway is that it's a revival if it:

is deemed a "classic" or in the historical or popular repertoire

per last year's rule book at http://www.tonyawards.com/en_US/about/Rules-2010-2011FINAL.pdf

WIT may be seen as a revival under that language.

Oh, I fogot to mention that I discovered an old time western actor, who will remain nameless (except to JRand, who I already told), was (unbnownst to me) wanting to get into my knickers when I (and this old time western actor) were attending the Memphis Western festival a couple of years back.

One of my interviewees (who was also at that western festival) informed me of such when I visited him during my vacation.

I was flattered to find this out... and if that old time actor had still looked like he did back in the 1950s....well  ;D

Now why would he want to wear your clothes?
