I'm going to have to pull a lot of charts from Lost in Boston and Unsung Musicals.

I hope you're not doing "Disneyland"; you lost the brass parts, didn't you?

And speaking of niece Taylor, I am on my way to making her a Bollywood fan. She indicated a couple of months back that she would enjoy having some India Festival music (as she calls my Bollywood music when she hears it in my car).

So, this weekend  I got her the CD soundtracks to DOSTONA and JANNE TU YE JAANE NA. She absolutely loves them and she has been making her parents play them in the car whenever they drive someplace, while she looks at the CD inserts with the Hindi lyrics written out and has been pronouncing the titles to the songs pretty darn well. She just found it all very fascinating.

Part of the fascination had to do with my taking her to Festival India last summer and then the other month she went to a birthday party for her friend Shreya and Taylor was the only non-Indian there.

Taylor's mom Jamie, by the way, found the pictures of John Abraham in the CD insert quite fascinating.

You shouldn't joke about this with his scary walk to and from work. ;)

Disneyland isn't on the list - I do think the brass parts weren't in the box - you'll redo them if we need you to :)  However, I'd rather do the title song.

I hope this benefit is giving you an orchestra of 26-28 players!

They're giving me about the same size band as the Bacharach benefit - nine or ten.

I hope dear reader Jane will take lots of photographs of the new driveway, and also a few photographs of her very own self reading the new book.

Sorry, I doubt the driveway will be photographed.  I should have taken some yesterday instead of asking Keith to.  The poor guy worked extra hard outside & didn't have a spare moment, not that he was interested in taking a photo.

We need photographic evidence regarding the driveway otherwise we'll all think you've been making it up.

I get a kick out of very few things on Facebook, but there ARE a few "friends" that I wouldn't mind kicking.

I'm lucky.  The only ones I could do less of are animal activist.  I think they are wonderful brave people.  I just wish some of the posts were more personal & less horrid photos & stories.

4 Reeds, 3 Trumpets, 2 Trombones, 2 Percussion, Drums, Banjo-Guitar, Harp, Piano, 5-4 Violin 1, 2 Violin 2, 2 Viola, 2 Cello, Bass

26 or 27 players!

They probably want a 5-piece combo!

One of my "friends" is one of those animal activists - I find all her posts completely annoying.  She'd written me asking about being the helper and I gave her a very quick no.

Joshie might be interested in being MD, depending on the date and the Encores! production of BELLS ARE RINGING.

Now my many Bernese Mountain Dog friends are fun.  Their pages are full of cute dog stories & beautiful photos and videos.  Many of them are also animal rights activists and do rescue work which is fine since that isn't all they are on FB.

I'd be happy to talk to Joshie - I made Todd Ellison a star, I can make Joshie a star.  We are going to talk about recording it.

TOD:

I have seen several comedie plays, but none stand out for me other then THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X, and that is not just me buttering BK. It really is the funniest play I have yet seen, at least to my recollection.

BUTTERING BK.  That is the name of my new adult novel.

Who's playing Ella in Bells are Ringing, and, more importantly, why are they DOING Bells are Ringing when it was just revived nine years ago???

LOL-It doesn't mean she will bother you about it in person.

Be for warned, my pages are going to have more about stopping Crush Videos, at least until the vote on the bill to stop them.  I am so very horrified they are legal.

The problem with musicians at benefits is that they, unlike the actors, get paid - even if they were willing to volunteer, they get paid.  So, it gets way too expensive to have twenty musicians.  But the ten we had for Bacharach sounded great, the revival of both Little Me and Bells are Ringing were rescored for ten players and both sounded pretty good.
