Thank you. Funny thing, I always hated my senior high school picture because I looked like a 50 year old insurance salesman. This new avatar is from my 50 year high school reunion; and now I look like a 68 year old insurance salesman.
Last night we had a lot of fun hearing my brother's band 4Score play.....I had never been in an Elks Club.....and at 11 p.m. they had a clock chime/toast to absent members and talked about the Elk Herd which was most interesting.
I also saw the son of a friend of mine.....Matt.....I didn't know that he was a Past Grand Exalted Elk Leader....

Today is my baby sister Molly's 48th birthday. She was born with a club foot and other problems.....she didn't get to come home for abut 8 days....and couldn't have many visitors, so we didn't see her for more than a week....well...Mom and Dad did.
Less than a month after she was born, she started wearing a cast...which was replaced every two weeks. When she was less than two years old, she had surgery.
It corrected the problem....and although she still has some difficulty...it's not very noticeable and she can do anything she wants....walking running dancing wise.

I seem to have the flu. It hit me yesterday out of the blue when I started feeling dizzy. It didn't help that I woke up at 4:45 and couldn't go back to sleep. And I'd been doing so well sleep-wise! Oh, well. I'll lie low.

I did not think salesman when I saw that photo, or 68. I thought younger.
I thought the first season of Poirot was weak with only two really good episodes, but the first three episodes of Season 2, "Peril at End House" was a 2-parter, are really fun. I really like the cast; David Suchet is brilliant, but Hugh Fraser, Pauline Moran, and Philip Jackson have such wonderful moments.

I'm up, I'm up - I was up at even thirty after four-and-a-half hours of sleep. I finally fell back asleep around nice and got up at two, so nine-and-a-half hours of sleep and boy did I need it. And now I'm having an allergy attack so Claritin-D here I come, and then I'll mosey on over to the mail place.

Back from getting yestereday's packages and Subway. Again I had the misfortune of getting the exact same "new" gal from the other day - I won't make that mistake again. I clearly state my order, and then promptly have to repeat it three times, she's totally bored, doesn't care what she's doing, shorts on meat until you point it out - no more her.
By the time we reached downtown Vancouver the rain had eased up, however, the metal grates on the sidewalks were very slippery. We didn't notice the grate that took Keith down. I was not able to keep him up and he let go of me before taking me down with him. Since he slid in front of me I was lucky not to fall over him.
Keith said once again his bones proved they are strong and we are both grateful I was not the one hitting the ground. He is bruised in numerous places & hurting. The concern is that he did some damage to a problem area in his elbow, a problem that he has managed to avoid surgery for and would like to continue avoiding it.

I messed up the dates in my original Titanic post.....I also posted on Facebook with incorrect information but have not been there to see the havoc that has wrought......or wrote....as the case may be.

Every April I have to be reminded of it, which I do appreciate, but I have yet to correctly recall the actual dates.
I sent a very long and detailed screed to the corporate Subway office. We'll see if they respond. If they don't, I will absolutely see the manager of that branch. I'm so nauseous right now and I'm guessing it's due to the stale bread, which I know now I should not have eaten.
