Thanks, DR Jose - I'd like to take a celebratory walk around the Central Park Reservoir with you.  What am I saying, I'd just like to take a walk to the family room!

DR George. Regarding "A Christmas Story": They played it constantly this Christmas at the bookstore where I worked for the season, and I never got tired of watching it. Didn't matter what scene I came in on, I knew exactly where I was in the film and I'd start laughing.

There was an article in the NYTimes last year about savory preparations of oatmeal.  Shall I look it up for you? ;)

Do I need to make a house call?

The police will not take a report for egging, unless there is permanent damage.

I don't think they will come out for pee either.

DR Sam - Is there a reason the LAPD isn't making regular sweeps of your parking lot by now?

Dear Jane,

Things will go into storage at the end of February if it needs to.  I can always sleep on someones couch for a few weeks till the other place is ready.

Another tenant in this building told me that when they had problems with a tenant here, that this other tenant was "particularly evil".

And someone else in this building said that this is happening because I had the nerve to complain about things around the building not being fixed.  I just did not want to live in a piece of ----  for the $1200 a month I'm paying for rent.   I though that was fair.  Who new it was the kiss of death to complain.

thanks laura & ginny.  my stomach has been bothering me since i began reducing the pain meds.  on them it was great & i could eat anything i wanted which was a real treat for me.

That's interesting, DR Jane.  Usually it's other way around.  Is it possible that you have something going on in/with your stomach right now, and the pain meds were masking the symptoms?  Or is it possible that you've developed some sort of acid reflux as a result of the pain meds?  -That's what happened to me a few years ago... And then came the antibiotics. Yuck!

Dear Jose,

I've lived in Studio City on and off since 1965.  I don't think they will do that either.

It was the managers job, but she moved out.

Dear Jane, it would probably help if I kept my mount shut and not made trouble.

The articles suggests various variations for a savory breakfast, which, in turn, could be used for other meals throughout the day.

And here's Mark Bittman's recipe for Savory Oatmeal with Scallions and Soy Sauce.  -If you read the comments, you'll find some other suggestions.

How are you feeling today, Druxy?

I'm feeling better.  I'm on some medication.  I have appointments with a gastroenterologist and a cardiologist within the next few days.

Thanks for asking.
