From what I'm told, Drowsy is not doing well - with the loss of Bob Martin apparently half its laughs are gone.
They should have cast Ant.

Nike announced today that it has suspended Michael Vick's contract without pay and will stop selling all Vick-related products at its stores.

I'm now wanting to eat the table, that's how hungry I am.  This documentary better a) start on time, and b) be really well paced for all of its ninety minutes.

I also read recently, that the new Blade Runner special edition will have a newly-made feature-length documentary about that film - want to know just how stupid and out of control this nonsense has gotten?  The feature-length documentary on Blade Runner runs an hour longer than Blade Runner - three and a half hours worth of long.

Re:  Isadora.  One of my first presents to DS Betsy (then DGF Betsy) was a long silk scarf.  On the card I cleverly wrote "Watch out for Bugatti's."  She asked, "Is that some kind of disease?"

We just had the world famous Kauffman Chocolate Cake in honor of Gabe's 11th birthday, which is today!!

Suggestion on our news here that "they" reportedly want to charge the guy in the car in Phoenix with contributing to the death of the Chopper people!

The law is an ass.
The press is a bigger one!

Good Evening!

Back from seeing "Hairspray" for the second time, and I have to say that it held up very well.  I think I liked it more this time round, in fact.

So... Has any other DR who has seen the movie laughed out loud at the brief tribute/reference to Little Shop of Horrors?  Well, I took it that way.  And laughed.  :)

And back from trekking around midtown for a while.

When we got out of the movie theatre, it felt like it had cooled down temp-wise, and that the humidity had dissipated too.  However, about an hour later, the humidity crept back up.  But it's still a nice evening in NYC.

After reading the following article, it seems to me the pilot & reporter should not be the same person.  I had no idea they were. :ohttp://www.azstarnet.com/sn/related/193690.php

Thirty minutes of MONK's un-character-motivated behavior and annoying quirks and I need a drink.  I can't believe this show, which I enjoyed the first two seasons, is so lacking in humor, sense, and good writing.  I think Diedrich Bader's a hoot but neither he nor his bare ass is making me laugh tonight.  Tony Shalhoub used to be a good actor. WTF is all this self-indulgent nonsense he's doing?
