GREY'S ANATOMY tonight I hadn't seen, and though it wasn't as dramatic an episode as some others, it still had some heartrending moments, particularly a final speech by guest star Laurie Metcalf to her daughter. (I believe she was Emmy nominated for this performance but lost to Patricia Clarkson for SIX FEET UNDER.)
And I did love intern Alex standing up to Dr. Burke tonight. He's usually portrayed as such a selfish bastard that it was nice to see him actually on the right side for a change.
And, of course, it's hard not to fall in love with Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Izzy's patient/boy friend. (Not to spoil things but I'm wondering if he'll survive the attack he was undergoing on the season finale of SUPERNATURAL.)
