I thought the "Junior Member" was the one sleeping on your chest.

Well I had a very busy day..full of busy work. The kind that has to be done, but you can't bill for. But it's done and I feel much better.

I went to Curves and the woman working there said "You came back!" in a very surprised voice. It made me laugh. I have discovered that the evenings are slow there. (that used to be their busy time) so tonight I was the only one there for 1/2 my workout and there was only one other person for the other 1/2. I like that.

Going into labor vibes for the Lovely Wife of DR Elan!

Our local Italian restaurant recommends the eggplant parmesan to pregnant women anxious to deliver. This worked for two of my friends. Check it out, Elan!

Speaking of weather reports...we are under a winter weather watch all day Saturday. Snow, sleet, freezing rain and ice are all forecast. Lovely.   I love winter but hate the ice. So tonight I went to the grocery store, filled the car with gas and did all those "storm is coming" things.  I have also decided to bring work home every night during the winter and forward the office phone to my cell phone. That way if the weather is bad and I don't have any appointments scheduled, I can work from home.

DR Danise - Can you get a second opinion?  -Of course, the second opinion may end up concurring with your first opinion, but at least you'd have another piece of counsel.

My opinion is that Danise needs some dark chocolate!  :)

Good winter contingency plans, DR Cillaliz.  I have loved the times in my professional life when I had jobs that permitted me to work from home.

Now, how did it get to be almost 11pm and why am I still awake?

'night!

He has been dropping hints, as in ripping apart his new toy.  At least the squeaker was still inside & the stuffing on the ground.

That's good about the stuffing, but how will you get the squeaker out of Sherlock? :)

Which of course brings to mind the famous joke--how do you know there's a soprano at your door?  She can't find the key and doesn't know how to come in.

And...what is "perfect pitch"?

I still remember my Boston Pops Broadway LP with the medley from "Company" on it.  :)

I have his "Broadway's Greatest Hits" CD, RCA release.

Does anyone here have the name "Thaddeus"?

My vet was named Thaddeus Riddle III (Thad for short.) He took excellent care of my Art cat for 20 years.

Actually, he's still named Thaddeus, he's just not my vet anymore (retired and sold the practice to the other vets but still comes in. He couldn't give it up completely.)

He still has a picture of Art on his desk!

I do remember hearing that little girl belting out "Mama, He's Making Eyes at Me," and I thought at the time that an adult man making eyes at that little girl was disturbing.

She made me think of Julie Budd for some reason. I probably never would have thought of her again. The internet is an amazing thing.

I've probably Watched "The Milagro Beanfield War" more than any other film.
Of Stage shows I would think "Company" would be the most seen. "Chicago" would be a close second.

December 2 - 3:00 p.m. - Palace Theatre, Marion, OH

This is the theatre in my mom's hometown. It's a wonderful little movie palace and has been restored. I'll tell my aunt; she might like to go if one of my cousins would take her!

I played the role of Baby John....twice.

I'm guessing the first time was shortly after you were born?

I watched lots of things on TV tonight. I began by finishing the Carol Burnet/AMERICAN MASTERS program.

I remember watching and sobbing through that last episode of her TV series. I knew an era was over.

This was the first time I ever heard anyone say that Harvey Korman was a pain to work with.

I have one near my house, but their hours are so limited that it would be tough to get in a workout most days. They aren't open past 7. What kind of gym is that?

Next, I finished the MURDER SHE WROTE episode which I had started last night. (This was the one with Julie Adams, Sally Struthers, Ruta Lee, among others).

Next, I watched the one bonus feature in the set - about 8 minutes or so called "The Price of Success" in which they describe how Angela's exhaustion led to them having the guest sleuths Keith Michell, Jerry Orbach, and Len Cariou. Angela admitted that they got lots of mail complaining about the episodes where Jessica wasn't in the entire episode which is why those stopped after season 7.

Just finished a large, several weeks-long project, so now I can resume my sub-normal life and try and get the house whipped into shape before we leave for LA.

We still don't know yet if we're going to interview Michael Kidd...

I started another MURDER SHE WROTE episode. This one brought back the murderer from the pilot episode (Arthur Hill) and wove a new murder around him after he was paroled. Among the guest stars are Gordon Thomson and Michael McKean.

MY NAME IS EARL had a fun episode tonight as Earl spends the last of his money on a prison prom. Some good lines, but not as much with Randy and Joy this week.
