I made a trek to Home Depot and stocked up on paint for my summer projects, well at least for several of my outdoor projects. It's time to restain the garage. I think I got 2 gallons of stain, it won't be enough to do the whole thing, but will be enough to do the part that is visable from the road. I got paint that matches that stain to put on the bottom of the gazebo (chocolate brown) and will paint the trim of the gazebo to match the white trim around the house. Not sure if I'll do the inside with white or brown. Waiting to see what I think when I get to that point. It's white now. so that was a gallon of brown and a gallon of white. Finally, I need to paint the deck again because of the new wood added last year, so I got a gallon of primer and a gallon of paint.
Home depot has their $5 per gallon rebate, so I decided it was time to stock up. I may need more for a couple of the projects and still need to get paint to do the upstairs den, but it's a start. Now that I have the paint, whenever I get in the mood to do it, I'll be ready. We haven't had good enough weather yet. When we do, I'll get out the powerwasher, and get everything prepped then go for it.
