Well, you've read the notes, the notes were 118%, and now it is time for you to post until the final week cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: LOQUACIOUS!
-
I sped through it and it just seemed like old clips from their shows? Why not just do a new show the way we do them?
-

Good question. I'm enjoying it because I haven't seen any of these clips, but it would've been good for the performers to perform something new.
-
Allergy issues - just took pill. It's been very warm here.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
No one responded to first edition musical hardcovers, so I guess that's a no-go, at least here.

Maybe you could put up one and see how that goes. Just a thought.
-
Only three more posts to BK's monumental milestone!!
-
I only have 53 to go (after this post)!
-
A Very Happy Birthday to (former) DR Ann!
-
Uh oh...Small number of fully vaccinated people in Washington test positive for COVID (https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/small-number-of-fully-vaccinated-people-in-washington-test-positive-for-covid/). :o
-
Ooh, a new milestone.
-
Shall we just get there?
-
Hope George is still up to capture it!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Congratulations, bk!!!!!
-
Sorry I didn't respond about the first editions. I'm not really a collector in that way.
-
I've pulled a few - three Sondheim first editions - A Little Night Music/Sweeney Todd/Sunday in the Park. She Loves Me, The Pajama Game, New Girl in Town, etc.
-
You're right, bk. $10,000 really isn't that far away.
-
If you see someone without a clew, give them one of yours.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am moving very slowly this morning. I had some gastric issues last night, and I have no idea if it was reaction to the vaccine or simply something I ate. I slept well except for Stella's pestering which began around 5:00 after a bathroom break.
-
I plan on accomplishing very little today.
-
My unemployment continues to be screwed up, and I am beginning to worry seriously about it.
-
I wish.... :)
-
Good morning, all.
-
If you see someone without a clew, give them one of yours.
I have a copy of this. Does thst mean I have a clew?
-
Tonight is the Cole Porter revue. It’s outdoors, which would be nice, except March is leaving like a lion. Winds ate supposed to be exceptionally strong and temps may be in the 50s.
-
Onward
-
Two!
-
Does that mean I have a clew?
You have many.
-
Inspired by DR John G., I watched No Way to Treat a Lady for the first time the other night.
Now I want to listed to that cast album again.
-

Is there a possible raincheck date?
-
Happy Spring, everyone.
-
I'm waiting to hear from Suad, so I'm in a holding pattern and hate it. I sent a message as well to the Dept of Labor and I wait on a reply as well.
-
Does that mean I have a clew?
You have many.
But do I know what to do with them?
-
It’s supposed yo get into the 90s next week here. Guess I had that air unit installed at the right time.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Vibes for everyone's health and wealth!
There. I think that about covers it. :)
-
Yesterday they said it was supposed to rain pretty much all day today, and now that today is here, they're saying it'll start late this afternoon. I guess I'll believe it when I see it.
Meanwhile, I had planned on spending the day indoors doing mostly musical work, and that plan shall be carried out.
-
Sorry I didn't respond about the first editions. I'm not really a collector in that way.
I never got started on those, either. When it came to plays and musicals, I always tended to take whatever kind of copy came my way, and never made it a collectible thing.
-
BK mentioned the possibility of keeping the chat function turned off for the one-time showing on Saturday.
That gets my vote and my complete approval.
Watch without distraction, and save those bon mots for the after partay, says I. In fact, I'm planning on doing just that. It's a mystery. I want to enjoy concentrating on the mystery and join in the fun afterwards.
-
DR TCB yes, the Gonzaga game was great. I don't see how any of the other teams can beat them.
The UCLA/MICHIGAN game was more of a contest - but I was happy with the outcome.
Two Texas teams - Houston & Baylor - the final four....and GONZAGA & UCLA.....so there you are. Put your money down.

And I used my copies, writing in margins, so a paperback copy was fine.

Suad is on the unemployment case! I hope she can get this resolved.
-
DR George, I forgot to thank you for resolving the photo problem last night.

You are very fortunate to have her!
-
Wednesday morning greetings!
...

...
I was not :(
-
Oh, well, at least I won’t be distracted by March Madness (in April) while spending Easter weekend with Charlotte.
-
I know DR GINNY.....I thought of you. The last few minutes really seemed like two teams who DIDN'T want to win were playing.....so many missed shots, so many mistakes on both sides.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his millstone.
-
Good news DR ELMORE - I am sure she will get it done.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Which of Delmer Daves' soap opera spectaculars is your favorite?
-
I noticed Youngblood Hawke is on TCM this afternoon.
-
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Which of Delmer Daves' soap opera spectaculars is your favorite?
I like his westerns better, but I'm a big fan and I like A Summer Place best of the soaps.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost seven hours of sleep but constantly waking up from the same dream that seemed to be on a loop - weird.
-
From DR TCB to DR Chas:
You would have loved WWII.
:))
-
DR TCB I am glad you are feeling much better. Were you able to reschedule your MRI?
-

Uh oh...Small number of fully vaccinated people in Washington test positive for COVID (https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/health/small-number-of-fully-vaccinated-people-in-washington-test-positive-for-covid/). :o
I read a different article this morning on Yahoo news. This headline wasn't as dramatic ;D
With mostly mild symptoms this is a reminder, DR George, to book your vaccination.

Elmore, I thought of Thatch when I saw this.

-
New perks are up. I hadn't noticed before, but the A Little Night Music first edition is signed by Len Cariou.
-
Good Morning - I spent my morning doing this.

120%!
-
122%!

https://flipboard.com/video/swns/88423f0a2b
That is so adorable!
-
122% (123 on the perks page) - two of the three first edition lots went, and the last of the scores went.
-
Good news.
-
Decided on Hugo's for food.
-
I screwed up a bit on Indiegogo - on one of the scores perks I didn't put in there was only one - they make it so confusing to list stuff and I missed that one, so three people have ordered it. One of the three isn't a problem and I'll find something else for that person. I've e-mailed the other person and hopefully he'll find something else - perhaps the two Sondheim scores that are left or something else.
-
Congratulations, bk!!!!!

What a coinkydink! I literally just (about a half hour ago) received the 33-track Barcelona cast recording to Boscos Endins (https://castalbums.org/recordings/Boscos-endins-2008-Original-Barcelona-Cast/11849/), a.k.a. Into the Woods from eBay! ;D
-
I've been looking at the NY State Dept of Labor FB page, and it looks as though the problem isn't just mine.

My pleasure! I'm glad that it worked!

So cute!!

I’m ready for Cole Porter and drinks.
And not necessarily in that order. 8)

Had Hugo's pasta kappa here - not a great batch, unfortunately. Then I picked up no packages and no important envelope - it makes me very nervous when that doesn't arrive a day or two before the first. Well, hopefully tomorrow.
-
Pasta Kappa - that's Pasta Papa that joined a fraternity.
-
Nice to see the campaign zipping right along!

Finally got out on a bike ride today. It was a beautiful day - I think I went a little over 8 miles - but it's a place to start. I'd like to drop a little before I get on a plane in June.

Page 4 dance!
Do the Macarena

Good evening!

And two Grecian urns!
-
It's an Easter miracle!!
-
:))
-
During intermission, they’re playing recordings of Cole Porter songs not included in the live part. They just played Elmore and Josh’s version of Say It with Gin. (I think that was one of Elmore’s, if I recall correctly.)
-
Good night, friends.
-
Gratuitous Post #100!!
-
Time to head home.
Until later.
-
My question to any one who knows
-
Why is it called Butter Chicken?
-
There is no butter in the recipe
-
Or the chicken
-
There is no butter in the recipe
Indian Butter Chicken? I thought there was ghee in it.

It's hard to describe the evening. The event was sold out. Tables were socially distanced, but there were more than 100 people there. It was outdoors on a large patio area, some up against the building, the rest under a tin roof. The wind was strong throughout. But the cast braved the elements and sounded great. But BK has me spoiled. Too many of the singers forgot the lyrics. In a Cole Porter show. That's just not right. But the woman who sang Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye was heartbreakingly good. And the man who got the titans sang Night and Day, Begin the Beguine and So in Love with the right feeling for each.
Still, the show was a bargain in the good it did. For $25, each of us got a cocktail, an appetizer and the show. $15 of that went to the theater. I also dropped $20 for their mystery liquor buy. I ended up with a $37 bottle of mint tequila. I'm not sure what I will do with that, except an adult mint chocolate chip milk shake. So, if you have ideas, let me know. I think they made some money off it all.
-
The performers were practically in tears at being able to be in front of an audience again. And this theatergoer felt in heaven at being performed to. That was one of the best aspects of the evening.
-
Congratulations Bruce on your super plateau
-
Congratulations Bruce in your successful campaign
-
Good night, all.
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
Did my big eBlast for project two aka Revenge.
-
Listening to Richard Rodgers ballets.
-
Got some chicken soup from Gelson's - kind of gross, but I needed a little something and it was calorie-friendly.

I met friends for Cloverleaf pizza.

My goodness, it's a slow posting day, isn't it?

Perhaps I'll make another 989 postings and get to a new milestone.

Most unseemly.
