Loved the videos, BK, particularly the event at Fred and Skips! Made me wish I were there!

TOD:

THE 7TH VOYAGE OF SINBAD is the only film on that list that I have seen (so far), and I likely first saw it around 1977, on television.

DR Jose, be sure to inquire of your Filipino relatives as to who are fans of the DARNA movies! And of course, which actress they think played her best!

Hello, everyone.

Many thanks to all the DRs for all the get-well wishes. I am happy to say that I am improving. However, it seems that this is not the flu after all--I have spots! Yes, I have chicken pox. My doctor was quite amused, "Imagine! Chicken pox at your age!" To that I say, "Harrrummph!" But I am grateful to feel human again.

Glad the HHW get-together was such a success.

Vibes to Cillaliz's DN for a speedy recovery.

A nice weekend to all.

I shall now mosey on over to the Palace Theater to see West Side Story, after which I shall briefly return to the hotel to change into my evening clothes, after which I shall mosey on over to the Metropolitan Room.

I wanted to say thanks for everybody for the good vibes and what not. David made it through great, I'm at the hospital now and they finally got most of their systems running again. The storms yesterday were nuts. I'm going to let him check his email and stuff, thanks again guys :)

Boy that felt good to get off my chest.   Usually I just eat till I'm sick.

DR Sam, I'm very sorry and just when you had a much needed fun filled day for yourself.

DR Jane - As for the "Cheese" - It was a cheese-flavored sponge(?) cake. However, I'm not exactly sure what kind of cheese, probably cheddar.

And the adorable young girl in that picture is my cousin, Sophie.  At least I think she's a real cousin.  The doll she is holding is "Chrissa", which is this year's American Girl Place's "Girl/Doll of the Year". I believe her Uncle Jojo brought it from NYC with him for her. ;)

I knew that couldn't be a solid hunk of cheese, interesting labeling.  ;D

Did you have a list of relatives to shop for before leaving or did you know ahead of time that sweet Sophie was in need of a doll from you ;)

Well, being out of work, I should be conserving my resources.  But I decided to be wild and crazy and treat myself to something I've been coveting for a long tim:

A Kitchen Aid stand mixer!

With how many attachments?

(Not a euphemism.  Sorry.)

David Cote is, in my humble opinion, a raging BUTTHOLE!!!
I take it you refer to the theater editor and critic for Time Out New York, and not the similarly named Chairman and CEO of Honeywell.

I must say, my legs haven't been sore from exercise since I began the new jogging routine last July, but boy are they sore from this treadmill.
Is the treadmill on an incline?  That could account for the extra stress on your legs.  (But I don't suggest running backwards to counter the stress.)

Anyone who's in Times Square today, stop by and say hello - I'll be in front of the Palace Theater.

AAlas, I will not be there!  :>(

The Vicar's Wife here...

The service and the luncheon are complete and everything went quite smoothly.  Deacon Richard and I are relaxing now before tonight's dinner at the University Club, hosted by our Cincinnati congregation (tomorrow will be our last Sunday with them).

No getting into that girdle so that I can fit into the dress and the fur is the exhausting part!

DR DAW - Someday I, too, will "invest" in a KitchenAid mixer.  They're made in Greeneville, OH, and I understand there's a great outlet store.  It's about an hour's drive from our house.
