As for the use of the word "pedant" in a lyric - and I do believe I know of two, but I am only sure of one of them. -I need to double-check the other one. In any case...

Here are some clues to one - and possibly the only one - of them:

-The word "pedant" is more spoken than sung in the song.
-It is part of a list.
-The musical it is from is based on a movie.
-The song does appear on the original cast recording. Well, one of them.

I don't think this is a box set - it's a regular CD with two discs - compiling their three acapella albums for MPS (I think). I got it at Dusty Groove, my new home away from home.
