Well, you've read the notes, the notes were certainly wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin', and now it is time for you to post until the wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin' cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  I do like coleslaw and potato salad and macaroni salad, as BK mentioned in his notes.  But also, my mom makes a German cucumber salad that's really good.  And there's always Ambrosia and fruit salad.

Also, I've never had this, but this recipe video for Brussels Sprout Salad from America's Test Kitchen sounds really good:

I love cucumber salads (basically just cucumber and onion and sesame seeds, as served in Japanese restaurants and Jewish delis. Very refreshing. Love good coleslaw, which is surprisingly hard to find, and love good potato salad (ditto). I've had very good macaroni salad, but if there's too much mayo I can't do it. As you know, I love the California Chicken Cafe chicken and pasta salad with scallions in thousand island instead of straight mayo, and I love good chicken salad and egg salad, not that those are really side dishes.

Egg salad may not be, but deviled eggs are!  And I do love me some deviled eggs! ;D

I slept rather well until 5:00 when my legs really became a major irritation. I played with Thatch and Annabelle and dozed a bit until  6:00.

This morning I am seeing a vascular surgeon to have my legs checked out. I saw him a couple of years ago, and I liked him and his staff very much. After that, I have a few errands to run before I head home.

No word from the IRS. I am very pissed about their false "three weeks to refund" claims. I have already received my refund from NY State, so I can't imagine there's a problem with the return itself.
