I ended my evening of viewing with DAMAGES, and another very good episode it was. I was thankful for the recap at the beginning, however, since I had forgotten some of the characters and cliffhangers from last week's premiere.

DR Cilla, if Sam is 19 and loves RENT, why not let her go to SPRING AWAKENING alone. I know you didn't much care for it, and you could go to LEGALLY BLONDE on your own. Or is it important to you both that you go to something together.

Excuse my butting in, but I'm just trying to match up a previous good experience with something comparable.

I just can't see someone who likes the RENT music would be interested in more standard Broadway fare like A CHORUS LINE, CURTAINS, or LEGALLY BLONDE.

Thanks for the suggestion Matt. I thought about Spring Awakening for her, but she said she wants something funny and fun, that is definitely NOT Spring Awakening. She likes all kinds of music. She  performs standards and lots of musical theater music. She picked Legally Blonde,  and is very excited to see it. I do appreciate your input though

Once again thanks for helping in this decision. The funny thing is, I thought immediately that she would like Legally Blonde...her favorite expression right now is OMIGOD!  But she is the one who said "Well, I just don't know if that's what I want to see"  I'm glad she decided to go to it. I haven't seenit and I think it will be fun.

I'm going to the lake around the middle of August, so if she's posting here by then, I'll get her to introduce herself.

ARE YOU LURKING SAM?

Ah, well, then I think LEGALLY BLONDE is probably the best choice. It's definitely light, fun, and upbeat. Hope you'll let us know what you both think about it after you see it.

Interesting that this month's Leading Men column should be about Michael Rupert of LEGALLY BLONDE and also features a very nice mention of BK's BRAIN.

We really wanted to turn it off with the opening scene.  Was that really necessary?  The message of what they were doing was fine, we didn't need to see it for the next 15 minutes.

Well, they have clearly established that Grace needs Saving!

At the same time, they haven't given me any reason to wish her well.

I'm not a super prude, but neighborbors walking their dogs can see in the living picture window straight at the 52" HDTV.

SAVING GRACE will scare the animals!

I'm glad some other networks are giving us more worthy entertaiment (BURN NOTICE and DAMAGES).

But THE COMPANY is coming up soon, and it really looks good!

After Saving Grace TNT has no way to go but up!

PS Did I mention I did not like Saving Grace 8)

Good Evening!  Good Morning!

I'm back from the Q-Do!  And what a Do it was!  They held it at Dave & Buster's at Times Square.  Free food - sliders, mini-pizzas, fried chicken tenders, etc.  Free drinks/booze.  And D&B Power Card with 75 credits on it!  Needless to say, DR Jason and I got a little "ticket happy", but we had a wonderful time.  And I had a great time hanging out with some of my "theatrical neighbors", and a bunch of us even shared a cab back uptown.  Alas, I don't think either of us took any pictures, but a photographer from BroadwayWorld.com and Playbill.com (I think) were there, so... We may be in the background.  -And it was especially nice to see almost all the original cast of Q come to the party too.

DR elmore - First of all, it's nice to hear that the move was accomplished today, and I hope you don't that many aspirin and/or pain-killers come the morning.  ;)

And I hope that any water damage to your apartment is minimal.  Very minimal.
