I also watched the set's one bonus feature: a couple of sponsor ads for L&M cigarettes and Remington shavers featuring the stars of the show.

That leaves me with two episodes left to watch, so I'll get them done easily when I go back down and then decide what I want to watch. I think I need to try to make a dent in this pile of TV shows I've recorded this week.

I did have time to skim through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The boys weren't on even though Holden, Lily, and Damien were. Not much of interest.

We are back from our visit with Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne at Ten Chimneys.  It's such an exquisite place with so much to see and appreciate.  Then we went to Oconomowoc for lunch at Culver's and a browse around Books and Company, an indie bookstore (a vanishing breed).  Richard, who woke up at 5:30am today, is zonked out and I'm trying to be quiet while he naps.

My weekend dining is looking good: tonight Daniel Neer is taking me out in thanks for some editorial work and counseling advice I offered, and tomorrow night I'm dining chez DR FJL and Skip. Sounds yummy!

I'm a bit sleepy at the moment.

I've got some writing to do and then back downstairs to finish off Season Three with Matt, Doc, Chester, and Miss Kitty before settling in with catching up on some of this week's TV.

I think we are doing BLITHE SPIRIT next season....DR TCB said that he has performed in this play....and I am reading it for the first time.  I certainly enjoy the movie....the script seems awfully WORDY.....but perhaps it plays better.  And this is an OLD copy, maybe it has been edited.....

The first scene of BLITHE SPIRIT is deadly dull.  For most of it you have Charles and Ruth spouting exposition about his new book his late wife Elvira, Madame Arcati, etc., etc.  The director has got to set the pace on that scene to Full Tilt Gangbusters.  And even then, if Charles can learn to juggle and perhaps Ruth could tie a cherry stem in a knot; it could only improve the play.  Once the other characters arrive the show takes off nicely (if the audience is still awake).

There's a gathering of tandem bicycle enthusiasts converging on our hotel.  Something tells me they're going to be rowdier than the seminarians and it's a good thing we're bailing out tomorrow morning.

The girls with "Matthew"

Debby, who is Matthew and why don't I have his phone number, yet?

Seriously, it is nice to see the Vixter with her Intended and her bridesmaids.

Lovely to read about DR VIXMOM's Saturday in NYC.  And vibes for the knee of DR THE VIXTER.

And run/walk vibes to DR CILLA LIZ.

Decided not to do the run. I'm really tired and I have tons of work to do, so I'm staying home this weekend and working at the office.  I'll get away next weekend

DR Cillaliz - Run, Priscilla, Run!  -Or, Walk, Priscilla, Walk!

Thanks!  My ankle is just now feeling stronger, so I'm not going to do the 5K this weekend.  I'll go for a walk, just not a planned 5 K

She is currently in the hospital undergoing radiation treatments.  She really is a lovely good person. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think I'll stop playing with Blu-Ray and try catching up with some of the thirty or so DVDs sitting in a pile, which include a whole slew of Warner Archive DVDs.
