Well, you've read the notes, you are now officially exhausted and brain dead from having read them, and now it is time for you to post until the officially exhausted and brain dead cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: KLEPTOMANIAC!
-
Is that a word you inadvertently picked up and put into your vocabulary and forgotten about when you walked out of the store?
-
Hmm, a slow day at Chez Kimmel.
That's the title of my next novel "A Slow Day at Chez Kimmel"
Unfortunately, I don't have much to add to the mix.
I'm Post 3 at 7:18 in the morning.
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm seeing the Irving Berlin exhibit on Thursday. On Saturday I'm seeing an exhibit called:
Bodies...The Exhibition (http://www.bodiestheexhibition.com/bodies.html)
as they say on the Web site, it's a phenomenal look at the phenomenon we call the human body
Sounds like fun!
-
Good morning, good day!
-
Hmmm....BD BK.
Well I have to work today, so my postings will be lite.
And tonight is TAR!!!
-
That is an interesting Body Link, DR BEN.
My first question for ASK BK day....what is your favorite museum you have ever been to....and what was your favorite exhibit?
-
Sorry, no braindead people welcome! And good morning, all! I'm ready to hit Toyland and conquer the town, and then I'm off to NYPL for some fun and games in the Burnside Music Collection. RC (RH?) Burnside was the original director of THE LADY OF THE SLIPPER and other musicals, as well as director of the Hippodrome, and he left all his papers and manuscripts to the NYPL.
I have an afternoon bout with the laundry since I have tomorrow afternoon booked with Rob Fisher to go over the new chart for Debbie Gravitte and Ron Raines and I leave for Ohiuo on Friday morning. Tomorrow night, the recording project ensemble is off to see Kern's OH, LADY! LADY! in a concert staging, and that should be fun since the book by Guy Bolton is so good that Wodehouse novelized it as "The Small Bachelor."
TOD: So, Dear Friend BK, why two commentary tracks? Why not one? Or three?
-
The Hippodrome!
-
Off to work as well.
-
...I have an afternoon bout with the laundry since I have tomorrow afternoon booked with Rob Fisher to go over the new chart for Debbie Gravitte and Ron Raines and I leave for Ohiuo on Friday morning....
Why, uoh why uoh why uoh?
Why did I ever leave Ohiuo?
(Sorry, couldn't resist. ;D)
-
What does a kleptomaniac call an elevator?
A lift!
-
It is still too early in the morning for me to think of a question.
-
Good morning!
Beautiful, sunny day here and temps are getting to the mid-80s. May has begun spectacularly.
-
Actually, I couldn't get on the site this morning the first time I tried. I kept getting a "server busy" error message.
-
However, I did talk to Laurie Mitchell last night and there IS going to be a reunion of the cast of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, evidently, in October in NJ....I do not know any more yet...Laurie couldn't recall the name of the event, only that someone named Kevin is running it and that she is invited.
It would be nice if it ran at the same time everyone was going to be in NY...then I could hang out with the puppet people, skip over the state line and hang out with the HHW people, and just have a grand time!
Maybe some HHWers would come and meet some Puppet People!!
-
I'm having lunch with a friend today who's dealing with some personal issues. Don't know how enjoyable a lunch it's going to be, but one does this for friends in trouble.
But better him than me! Life is SO much more pleasant when things are running smoothly. [Knocking on wood to keep good luck coming my way.]
-
I was unable to get in earlier, also.
-
That new documentary on Bette Davis premieres tonight on TCM at 8 p.m. Won't be able to DVR it since there is SO much else on tonight, but I guess I'll check the guide to see if it's coming on again in the next day or two, and get it then. If not, I can videotape it in the bedroom. Won't look nearly as good, of course.
-
One of the notable aspects of this year's IDOL competition is the lack of a true frontrunner in terms of talent. All of these final five have fine singing abilities, but none of them to my way of thinking have yet to have a singular moment of triumph on the show, a moment that is season-defining like Fantasia's "Summertime" or Clay's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" or "Solitaire."
I think this is one reason why the top vote getters have seemed to shift in a week's time. The top two last week - Katharine and Chris - have both been in the bottom group before, Katharine more than once. Just a very erratic season.
-

Hmmm... DR Ben, this is very interesting. I was going to say that I saw this exhibition here in Philly last month, but when looking through the web site I realized that this is completely different from the one I saw, which was called BodyWorks (In fact, the site you linked to has a disclaimer that it is in no way affiliated with BodyWorks.)
Competing human body exhibitions! I had no idea...
-
The Hippodrome!
Aida hit an A and blew the place away.
DR Elmore, what do you know about the disco BABES IN TOYLAND that was planned during the late 70s?
-
Question for BK:
Speaking of DVD audio commentaries, what was the most interesting one you ever listened to? Which one was the most informative or juicy or contained a "I don't believe he/she said that!" moment?
I have to admit that I rarely take the time to listen audio commentaries. I did watch WHITE CHRISTMAS with Rosemary Clooney. Not very illuminating, but Ms. Clooney was just fun to listen to.
-
Speaking of commentaries:
Dan (The Man), don't forget that THAT GIRL! season one comes out on DVD May 16th!

Re "American Idol"
For me, the performance of last night's competition was Taylor's "Something". Far and away the best of the night, IMO.
Hated both of Chris' songs...back to his atonal droning and bleating, with typical "cut-off-the-band-with-the-right-arm" at the end of each song. Ho-hum. He's a Johnny One-Note...without the "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
Paris. I found her dreary.
Katherine. Ugh.
Elliott! Neither performance is a favorite...but "On Broadway" has never appealed and Elliot's version ranks with the rankest of the versions I've heard..
-
Dan, when I was in Philadelphia for a weekend in late March I almost went to see the Body Works exhibit, thinking it was the same thing also. We ran out of time so I didn't get to see it. The posters for both exhibits look very similar which is why we thought about going because it seemed as if the exhibits were the same.
-
Good morning, fellow Dear Readers. I just walked 45 minutes to get a cup of coffee and 45 minutes home. I expended more calories than I took in. Isn't that exciting?
-
Dan (The Man), don't forget that THAT GIRL! season one comes out on DVD May 16th!
Thanks for the reminder, DR MB. I'm putting my order in today. (And it's not a bad price, considering what the old DVD was going for.)
And is anyone planning on ordering the TV Favorites Megapack: 100 Episodes (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0001DMVW6/qid=1146669219/sr=8-6/ref=pd_bbs_6/104-5578969-8320700?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=130)? I don't think there's anything outstanding in this set, but it is cheap enough.

I admit that I had to be dragged to go see BodyWorks (I'm a bit squeemish about such things), but I wound up being fascinated by it.
There were some people here in town that viewed the exhibition as little more than a carnival freak show, but I didn't feel that way at all.

If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle:
"Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children."

That is an interesting Body Link, DR BEN.
My first question for ASK BK day....what is your favorite museum you have ever been to....and what was your favorite exhibit?
I like MOMA. But the most fun I've ever had at a museum was in LA at the Temporary Contempory for the Red Grooms exhibit.

I have to admit that I rarely take the time to listen audio commentaries. I did watch WHITE CHRISTMAS with Rosemary Clooney. Not very illuminating, but Ms. Clooney was just fun to listen to.
The truth is I rarely listen to commentaries - I find most of them annoying. I did enjoy one of the John Frankenheimer commentaries, but can't remember which one.
-
They must have been having a server issue earlier - I had no problem getting on just now. I don't understand how all this works and why it usually only affects the discussion board. I think one of the reasons is that we have those revolving ads at the top (a nature of the software) and I think their server gets mass spammed every now and then, causing overload.
-
Good morning, DR's. Just checking in, as I finish loading up all my stuff. I think I'll hit the road around 9:30 or even 10 - after the worst of the 405 traffic smooths out. Probably camp somewhere north of Sacramento this evening - one great thing about this little Honda hybrid - I can go 600 miles on one tank of gas... that's usually about 9 hours, so I don't stop once I'm going, until I'm just TIRED!!! Well, when I have time - and this time I do have lots of time - I take time to spend time at various and sun-dried rest stops. Get out, take a nice walk, stretch my legs. So I'll do that today and tomorrow.
I love that most of the motels these days have wireless internet service! So, I'll be checking back tonight. Bye kidz. Enjoy the day.
Bruce - letting go of limiting ideas is one of your great strengths, and it has always been an inspiration to me to watch you drop the burden of the past and leap into the present. The other night, it was very apparent that your new play is a new kind of work from you, something so deep and true - even if it is flavored with lots of good laughs - and THE PLAY deserves the best you can bring to it. Breakthrough, Babe-alicious! Sad will pass. See you in a couple of weeks.

Dan (the Man) I have seen that mega pack of TV shows before and it is a good buy...unfortunately I already have many of those shows on other DVDs.

Things are sluggish at this end, too....in terms of logging in to Haines His Way.com.

I am very tired this morning for some reason although I have no memory of sleeping badly. Probably all that pollen from my maple tree.
-
DR Matt, it's being shown again at 11:30 PM tonight. I just set my Tivo to record it through the Tivo website.
Thank you so much, DR Dan (tM). That will be the perfect time since prime time will have ended and the DVR will be free to record without interruption or competition.

Maybe you should stop sleeping in that tree and sleep indoors.

I had a photo of DR Sandra like that, back when we were fostering kittens. There were SEVEN that slept all over her. They had been found in a box at the side of the road.
-
I guess I would have heard by now if there were any probs with the Deceit transfer, so I guess I shall now go and pick up the DVD so I can start proofing it for approval.

At about 50 cents a movie you probably can't be too particular. LOL! I would guess it is a mix.

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm seeing the Irving Berlin exhibit on Thursday.
DR Ben, I just came from the Irving Berlin exhibit, which includes a score by the great Frank Saddler from 1918. There are some wonderful scene designs by Mielziner, Raul Pene duBois, among others, and it's all tied in with that great new book, IRVING BERLIN'S SHOW BUSINESS.

DR Elmore, what do you know about the disco BABES IN TOYLAND that was planned during the late 70s?
It was produced by Fran and Barry Weissler (oy!) and had huge puppets from the creators of HR PUFNSTUF (?), and looks like a mess from the souvenir program. I believe there was a recording, but I never want to hear it.! A friend of mine was in it as Barnaby.

Had a lovely lunch with my friend Jeff. Things not as bad as I feared, so all should be well in time.
-
Spent much of the afternoon with some of last night's TV shows. Started off with VERONICA MARS with a couple of very unexpected developments. And, yes, the season-long mystery does indeed seem to be coming to its conclusion. I suspect there will still be a surprise or two to be pulled on us, however.
-
Next I watched last night's BOSTON PUBLIC. This show is not realistic a depiction of the legal profession, but I don't think anyone wants it to be. It's outrageous, absurd fun. Enjoyed it.
-
And then came LESS THAN PERFECT. Patrick Warburton has lost a considerable amount of weight! I didn't notice it last week on the premiere, but it was certainly evident in last night's episode.
The show always makes me smile even if there weren't as many laugh out loud moments as there were in BOSTON PUBLIC.
-
I just downloaded a MY FAIR LADY parody that I've known about for years but never heard: MY SQUARE LADDIE. I don't yet know if this is actually funny or not (I think Nancy Walker is involved), but the title of one of the songs has me giggling--"I'm Kinda Partial To His Puss".

The Tennessee Williams' DVDs came in today, but since I had already started THE TOWERING INFERNO yesterday, I just continued another 40 minutes with it to conclude my afternoon viewing.

MBarnum - Are you planning to see Deepa Mehta's film, WATER?
Absolutely! I am hoping it will play on the big screen in Portland, but if not then I will at least buy the DVD...of course it stars Mr. John Abraham so you know I wouldn't miss it!
-

...but seriously folks, I am very pleased that John is being cast in something other then the run of the mill action/adventure Bollywood films and is in a serious drama for a change (he was in a comedy last year that he was quite good in!).
Bollywood action films are everybit as ridiculous and CGI'd as Hollywood action films.
-
And speaking of John Abraham...DRs Elmore and JRAnd55 have packages on the way via USPS at this very moment.
You have been warned. :-X

The reviews have been glowing and I was thinking that I must go and see it... Then I realized that I have a DVD of the movie sitting on my shelf -- which I received as a FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION mailing for the Genie Awards (the Canadian Oscars).
Interesting Factoid: I used to know Deepa Mehta when she was "Deepa Mehta Saltzman" - a name I loved. She produced Martha, Ruth and Edie, a Canadian feature trilogy of which I wrote one (a third?) - namely "Martha"...

Yes, she has, and it's been very noticeable. But her hair is now ridiculously red (not carroty orange, mind you, but RED), and I don't think it's very becoming.

I believe that's a wig. I saw her last week in a musical (she was excellent!) and she has chin-length blondish hair now. (And it's not a wig.) She looks quite pretty as her new blonde, slim self.
You can probably catch her May 5 on the Genesis Awards on Animal Planet as "herself." Unless they've editd out that portion of the show, she gave an award or said something -- I no longer remember what it was. She and her husband sat at my table, but we didn't get a chance to talk.

I have much worse arrangements than those to plague a listener! But there are soooooo many to choose from.
-
Are you sure that is enough, DR Elmore.
Look at my posts to you alone! Of course not.
-
However, I did talk to Laurie Mitchell last night and there IS going to be a reunion of the cast of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE, evidently, in October in NJ....I do not know any more yet...Laurie couldn't recall the name of the event, only that someone named Kevin is running it and that she is invited.
It would be nice if it ran at the same time everyone was going to be in NY...then I could hang out with the puppet people, skip over the state line and hang out with the HHW people, and just have a grand time!
Maybe some HHWers would come and meet some Puppet People!!
It would be nice indeed if the timing works out. Not good at all if you are in NJ & NY while Tomovoz is in Portland.
-
And the word of the day is: KLEPTOMANIAC!
Isn't that what Michael Rennie taught Patricia Neal to say to Gort?
-
There were so many customers buying roaster chickens today that I decided to roast one myself for tonight's din-din.
AND
I surprised a couple of customers today. I was working the shop-back cart (items that customers have decided they didn't want once they got to the checkout line - they have to get back on the shelves somehow) when I overheard one woman ask another "Now, where do you think they have bread crumbs?" I didn't just tell them where to find them, but led them to the location. They were thrilled that a store clerk would do that for them.
It doesn't take much to make my day.
-

I'm sure your arrangements are fine...it's the idea of listening to them over and over forever that I think might be a bit hellish.
-
I had a photo of DR Sandra like that, back when we were fostering kittens. There were SEVEN that slept all over her. They had been found in a box at the side of the road.
Had, is the photo missing? I would love to see it.
DerBrucer & SWW, my Fletcher is big. ;D
-
I found out the date is Oct. 27 thru 29th...which is after all of you will have left NY :'(
-
And after our Oz visit.

But don't a lot of us already know a puppet people person? Former HHW DR and very sweet lady, Susan Gordon a.k.a. Agnes.

And you don't think that was planned?

From Penny:
I'm beginning my trek up your way, tomorrow - Probably stop somewhere north of Sacramento, then visit with you and Keith if you're up for it on Thursday afternoon - you home?
You weren't fast enough last night ;D
I’ll be home for sure. Give us a call from the road with an ETA.
Are you staying the night or just stopping for a visit? Either way would you like to go for a walk? We can go here or to Lithia Park.
-
I'm soooo tired. I've got all my little notes for fixes to the Deceit video, but it doesn't look like we're doing them today or tonight - so, that will most likely happen tomorrow.
-

Sandra and the foster kittens:
-
Might I just ask where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
We are watching "Cash Cab" at our house.
-
SO CUTE!!! :D
-
I was talking to Craig online, two hours worth. :) I miss him :(
When he comes home next month his visit will be short with most of it spent in San Francisco & Auburn. We will have a few days with him in LA.
Today I did the first draft of a letter to the US Embassy in Bucharest inviting his girlfriend to visit us. She can’t come if we don’t prove we will be responsible for all her expenses, including medical. Then they have to prove she plans to return to Romania & not become an illegal immigrant.
-
DR MattH, i think you meant BOSTON LEGAL, not BOSTON PUBLIC. That was another show.
-
IDOL vague spoiler.

The bottom two were who i thought they would be.
And the one who left was who I thought as well.
That doesn't usually happen.
-
And OMG could TAR be any cattier???
Will discuss it tomorrow when everybody has watched.
-
I'm taking a break from watching THE SMARTEST GUYS IN THE ROOM, which has me more thoroughly outraged than usual. I hope they hang Ken Lay.
-
I am incredibly sleepy, still haven’t cleaned the kitchen.
‘night
-
I'm in a mood, I tell you. And the dearth of postings around here isn't helping it.
-
On the Deceit DVD front - Matt and I are going to do a commentary track.
-
I ate a meatball thing at Subway at one. I suppose that's not enough to eat for an entire day, but it was sort of nauseating and I can't figure out what, if anything, I should eat now.
-
Things are sluggish at this end, too....in terms of logging in to Haines His Way.com.
The kittens in the picture look sweet....
I have had troubles at home and I have been unable to access the message board. I am taking a break from reading and studying for a test I have tomorrow....

so am i --- I am now trying to write a two-page essay of my reactions to the book, Lakota Woman by Mary Crow Dog......
I am having enough problems trying to string a sentence together!! It is part of our test.

Well gang, I'm finishing up the laundry and need to pack for my trip tomorrow. I need to leave the house by about 6:00AM to get to the airport in Omaha. I am SOOO happy to be leaving on a jet plane, I can't even express my joy.

Continued with THE TOWERING INFERNO. A very long movie, but for a popcorn disaster movie, probably one of the best. I have enjoyed seeing it again. Have about 10 more minutes to go with it.
-
There was more planning on the birthday trip. Mom wants to go to DeSmet, SD to see the Little Town on the Prairie. It's one of many Laura Ingels Wilder sites. It's fairly close to the International Vinegar Museum, but I can't convince her that we should stop there. I mean if it's a road trip, it's gonna be a road trip.
-
Yes, I did indeed mean BOSTON LEGAL. BOSTON PUBLIC has been gone for a season or two. Geez!
-
ALIAS, well, had what was for me the nadir of its five years on the air. Even when something that was supposed to be tragic happened, I didn't feel the slightest bit of remorse. Sad, sad, sad when a show stays on the air too long.
-
It's gonna be quite the adventure. I haven't done a road trip with my parents since 1984, (we drove to Alaska and back) so this should be fun. But, I'm getting way ahead of myself. Work has been very stressful. When I get stressed out, I relax by planning trips. They may not happen until sometime in the future, but the planning is fun for me
-
As for LOST, all I can say is
WOW!!
-
INVASION had a quite gripping episode tonight. Not as creepy or as unnerving as many previous episodes have been but just as engrossing.
Well, there WAS one especially weird moment during the show that was a superb visual shock.
-
Hey, here I am in Redding, CA - Motel 6, which doesn't do wireless - but have modem, will dial-up!
Thanks to all DR's for such nice road vibe-age... no traffic to speak of - a little slow through Sacramento at 5. Nice weather once i got outa LA...
I forgot how long the sun stays up, at this latitude!
Ok - so I loved all the kitty pix! Want one!!! And good ol' Fletcher!
Bruce - you are having a reality meltdown, that's all. yes, go eat something, fa' chrissakes - something comforty. Maybe I'll phone from the road tomorrow, with cheeriness - and a nice bitch-slapping! That'll do the trick, I say!
Well, these ol' bones are so weary - think I'll flop into my $40-a-night bed and watch the complimentary TV... maybe I'll be back... don't wait up...
-
Speaking of road trips, has anyone seen LEAVING IOWA?

Well, I best be going. Loved the kitty and dog pics. But must find my suitcase, pack and try to get some sleep.

As for IDOL
spoiler - - - - - - - - -
I was sweating bullets for Elliott. I was thoroughly pleased that Paris was let go. She has terrific raw talent there, and had her mother held her out of the show until she was 20 or 21, she would have been unbeatable.
But I remember in one of the features on her that she had begun to lose her interest in singing, and I think IDOL was a way they could revitalize that interest. Time will tell if it worked or not.

But who was the naked guy in Ron's photo?

As for LOST, all I can say is
WOW!!
WOW!! WOW!! (and a :o, to boot!)
-
But who was the naked guy in Ron's photo?
And, how, exactly, do you know that the guy is naked? Hmmmm?

I already know that hell will be sharing a room with DR Matt H and he'll have the remote.
But it is a perfect Hell, and the remote will control an 11" Black and White TV.

With rabbit ears attennas.

Safe travels, Cillaliz!
-
Boy, this talk about foster kittens brings back memories. It was the most rewarding and sometimes most heartbreaking thing I've done.
-
With rabbit ears attennas.
Just one ear ;D
-
Went to Gelson's and got a couple of slices of yummilicious ham and a small thing of cucumber sushi.
-
Heading off to bed now.
Good night, everyone!
-
And, how, exactly, do you know that the guy is naked? Hmmmm?
Because Ron posted the photo!

SNEAK PREVIEW!
Come the morn, I shall post a sequence of pix of which this is the first:

I'm watching "Lost" right now, and so far, no "WOW" moment. It's at the very end of the episode, isn't it?
-
Which is just about to happen!
-
cute... Just about ready to leave work.. Lot of people studying but quiet at the desk. I may drop in breifly when I get home but I may just settle with my notes and study... If that is the case I will not drop in until later tomorrow.
-
Which is just about to happen!
Not 'til 1 past the hour!
-
"WOW" IS RIGHT!!

I'm watching a DVD. I also have to watch Alias, which I TIVOd and which, thank the Lord, only has two more episodes. I can't imagine tonight is more of a nadir than the previous twelve shows, but we shall see.
-
INVASION had a quite gripping episode tonight. Not as creepy or as unnerving as many previous episodes have been but just as engrossing.
Well, there WAS one especially weird moment during the show that was a superb visual shock.
Okay, I have a question about a previous episode of "Invasion," so it's not a spoiler. I quite clearly remember the son, Jesse, becoming a hybrid. Does anyone else remember this plot point?? If I'm remembering it correctly, how come he doesn't know that he's one and why isn't the show treating his character as one? OR am I totally remembering some other incident or something else incorrectly. Help!
-
Or, in the words of John Adams, "Does anybody care?"
;)

bk -RELAX!

Or, in the words of John Adams, "Does anybody care?"
;)
I don't watch the telly at night.... Sorry...
-
Relaxing wont be in docket of things to do until after 12:30 tomorrow afternoon when I take my final...
Typing my essay up now. I put my notes and thoughts in some sort of order when I was at work.. Needless to say, after reading the book, I DO NOT have a lot of respect for aspects of the state governments of ND and SD.... I am ashamed.
-
Finished the movie. Shall now endeavor to write the notes.
-
I'm joining the tired club. Did a milliion different things today... Sending off an old script with a story synopsis; finding and writing up some missing check receipts for my taxes; working on a script that needs to be done by early next week and talking to the producer of same; talking to the producer of the one that's about to shoot; having a meeting with the director of same; starting to work on some cuts on that script; doing my laundry; taking the Wonderdog for walks... and so on. And I watched and taped THE SOPRANOS. Managed to stay awake through that. Have I mentioned I'm TIRED? And hungry, I think...
-
Well, I have to go and house-sit. I must confess something that happened on Monday night. I came home after work and did my stuff here, but I stayed much later than usual. So, I started to look for the house key for the house that I'm house-and-cat sitting and I couldn't find it! I looked all over my table where I put my other stuff...I looked in my car...I looked in my bedroom...everywhere I could think of! I had to find the key because the cat that I'm supposed to take care of had been outside all day! Anyway, I couldn't find the key and I figured that I left it at work!
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! How could I have left it there?? But I did and the building was closed and there was NOTHING that I could do. I called the local weather line and it said that the overnight lows would be in the 20s and 30s! I was so scared that Mela (the cat I'm supposed to "take care of") was going to freeze to death! Anyway, the only thing I could do was go to sleep. I set ALL four of my alarm clocks so that I could get up early enough to go to work when the building opens at 7:00 a.m., get the key and hope that Mela is okay.
I finally get to the house and Mela doesn't meet me when I drive up, as she ALWAYS had done before! Oh, NO! She's frozen! What have I done?? So, I go up to the house, open it and there she is!! She wasn't outside at all! I totally forgot that she didn't go outside the day before! Yea! She's okay! I DIDN'T KILL HER! And, there was still a little bit of food left, so she was totally okay. ;D
And that is my confession...and now I must go. Mela has been outside today. :)
-
...Writing out this list reminded me that I have to finish reading a script that's competing for a prize. The deadline is Friday. I had three to read. Two were short, but this last one consists of MANY sections. i want to be fair and stay alert, but I keep nodding off. BUT I want to get it off my desk tonight. Maybe I'll cuddle up in bed with the script and finish reading it that way. What a glamorous life!
-
Nice to know that DR George isn't a cat killer.
-
Notes up shortly.
-
I'm yawnnnnnnnnning.
-
The notes are very strange.
-
Which is only appropriate, given who wrote them.
-
I have my iPod on, shuffle play, and Mr. Haines is crooning I'm Glad To See You've Got What You Want.
-
I'm just bidin' my time
-
'Cause that's the kind of Guy I'm
-
I am my own frenzy.
-
And now it's time to post new notes.

This thread is now officially exhausted and brain dead.
