Today's Iowa Democrat Straw Poll:
RCP Average Polling Data:
Obama 29.0
Clinton 28.6
Edwards 26.0
Richardson 5.0
Biden 4.5
So, if we assume the Ricahrdason/Biden camps will fail to attain the 15% viability threshold, they can easily control which of the" three standing" candidates wins!
If these same folks want to keep the Democrat primary "open" for a while longer, they need to deny either Clinton or Obama back-to-back finishes in both Iowa/New Hampshire, so they should throw their votes to Edwards.
Add this to the fact the Edwards' polling data has been trending up, I give him a better than even chance of taking IOWA.

bk, thanks - I did not realize about Shire's "recycling." Although that tune did sound strangely/vaguely familiar. I'll have to give "Shire at the Movies" another spin! :)
It should be noted that I have not seen Take Flight on stage; my comments are strictly related to how the score plays out on disc [for me].

DR JoseSPiano - someone over at ATC was musing about auditions, and whether strategically it's better to audition at the beginning of the day or toward the end of the day to be better "remembered" by the other side of the table. Good morning, all! I have various and sundried things to do today, beginning with Toyland work and finishing with the IRS.
Last night was filled with weird dreams, the first of which I no longer remember, but I recall that it was creepy and unsettling. The second one was about Miami University Summer Theatre, some show closing, my car being stuck in Trenton OH, and taking a bus ride from Oxford to Trenton with DR Jose to pick it up. Actually, we were taking the bus to my hometown when I realized we could get off the bus in Trenton and pick up the car. I remember something about another driver giving me hell for driving with my bright lights on and DR Jose making out with a passenger on the bus!
On a happier note, my publisher emailed me this morning to tell me I was their best selling writer for 2007!

Favorite Preminger by far is LAURA but I also love ANATOMY OF A MURDER and ADVISE AND CONSENT.
I haven't seen SKIDOO or ROSEBUD, but I thought THE MOON IS BLUE was a waste of time.
-
I saw PORGY AND BESS on TV back in the 1960s (ABC Sunday Night Movie, wasn't it?), but that's it, so my memories are vague. I do remember liking it, but one can't judge from a pan and scan TV broadcast.
CARMEN JONES is well worth seeking out, DR Elmore. It's on DVD.
-
No new shows on TV tonight that I care anything about, but I will be watching the SUPERNATURAL rerun since I missed the episode when originally broadcast.
I'm expecting review copies of THE ROCK and CON-AIR on Blu-ray, but if they don't arrive (and it's likely they won't be here until Monday; they arrive in stores on Tuesday), I'll be watching the next DVD in the review queue, a Lee Harvey Oswald documentary from PBS. Should be interesting.
-
I awoke from one of those "wow, glad that was a dream" dreams. In the dream, we were driving to the coast and had to stop at a store, which was a Safeway, even though we never shop there. The parking lot was full, but I noticed someone just starting to pull out, so I waited patiently, only to see some old biddy driving one of those mini-buses from a retirement home zoom in from the other end turn sharply and take the open spot. So I pulled up next to her and started telling her we had been waiting for 10 minutes for that spot. And she said "Tough luck." So I reached through my open window, slapped her, and called her a very bad word which begins with the third letter of the alphabet. Cut to our coast hotel, where the local news is running a nonstop story about the poor old lady who was slapped by a stranger in the Safeway parking lot and the police are on the lookout for him. Oy. ;D

Betsy and I really liked the new lineup on L&O last night--the best cast in a while, though we still miss the ADA played by Parisse or whatever her name was--why in heck did they kill her off? Was it because she was a lesbian? ;)

Speaking of altercations, DR JMK - did anything ever come of the problem between those contractors next door and your dogs?
The site has been "dormant" for about 6 months now. The farmhouse sold to a family with more cars than a used carlot, and they are using the new driveway (which accesses the still empty lots) for their many vehicles. The weird thing is, the builders never finished the road properly. The drain at the bottom (which backs to an environmentally protected zone) is about 4 or 5 inches above the pavement level, which means things need to flood before they start draining. We're thinking of reporting it to the City.

You may all thank me later for Page 3.

Good Morning!

DR JMK - As for your dream... Hmm... They have Safeways in North Carolina. ;)
-
It is SUCH a beautiful day out with cloudless blue sky, but I'll be bundling up to brave the cold (well, cold for us) when I go out to lunch with friends later.
Here, the sky is Black, Black, Black.
Three (count 'em 3) storm systems are piling up along our coastline and the weather guessers have a look of terror on their faces (or perhaps I'm just "imagining" it).
The weather is at the top of the news, and the forecast section of each newscast has double the normal amount of time.
Rain is supposed to be approaching in quantities they're afraid to predict. It will rain today. It will rain Friday. It will rain Saturday. I haven't heard about Sunday. Frankly, they may not be counting their chickens when it comes to Sunday.
The unheard-of has also happened. Area ski resorts have announced that when the snows start up, accompanied by the high winds that are part of the package, they will ALL close their doors and they will close ALL the ski runs until it's passed.
I've never heard a weather forecast include such information before. "Be careful on the passes", yes, I've heard that. "You might want to take more time and have food and water in your vehicle", yes, I've heard that. But I haven't heard them say "Stay Home!" before.
I'm seriously considering taking tomorrow off. The rains are supposed to be at their most fearsome tomorrow between 6 a.m. and noon.
-
Are you near Raleigh and/or Greensboro (or are you SC, Matt--sorry, can't remember). What should we pack, clothes-wise, for our visit next week?
Matt is in Charlotte, NORTH Carolina. Based on his past reports, pack for mild weather, warm weather, and brutally cold weather.
It's a guess.
SOUTH Carolina is a different story. Pack for cold weather, pack for hot weather or pack for freakish weather (summery this morning and wintery this afternoon).
-
DR JMK - As for your dream... Hmm... They have Safeways in North Carolina. ;)
I had not heard this. I haven't seen them in South Carolina.
But if you're in North Carolina and need to grocery shop: For pity's sake go to the Piggly-Wiggly!
Or go to Ingles!
And take in as many "country stores" as you can find. You'll be amazed.
-
DR JMK - Report them!
:)
Yes, and paint a gi-normous target on the side of your house for them to point their bazookas at. It makes it easier for them to bulls-eye you from the various vehicles parked in the drive.

Indeed, PORGY AND BESS was on the ABC Sunday Night movie! That's where and when I managed to see it.
CARMEN JONES' dvd is quite good, if an early FOX title and it's a very good film, to boot.
I've not seen THE MOON IS BLUE, though CBS did seem to run it alot in the 70s.
LAURA is a fine, fine film and my favorite Preminger, bar none.

Early week forecasts are for low 30s for lows and low 60s for highs, but that can change.

DR JoseSPiano - someone over at ATC was musing about auditions, and whether strategically it's better to audition at the beginning of the day or toward the end of the day to be better "remembered" by the other side of the table. I was curious; in your experience do you think it makes any difference?
It's all a total crapshoot. However...
Most audition days start at 10:00am. I'd say being in the 10:30-Noon-ish group is better than being one of the first people to go. By waiting a little bit, you've allowed any staff members who may have been running late to get there. And, by that time, the morning coffee and pastries have kicked in, and everyone is settled.
I also think the period after the break is good too. However...
The Bottom Line is that if you're good, you're good... If you're right for the part, you're right for the part... If you're possibly right for the part, you're possibly right for the part... Whether it's 10:00am, 11:42am, 1:50pm or 4:50pm.
"We" can sometimes sense that people come into the room and sign up for "ideal times", "better times", and that they think they will automatically be considered for a callback just because they caught us when were in a "good mood". Wrong. Again, if they're possibly right for the show, they will be considered for a callback. If they're not right for the show, then, hopefully, at least, they gave a Good Audition, and not left a bad impression with the audition staff. -We remember everything and everyone! ;)
*I will say, when it comes to EPAs - Equity Principal Auditions - where people sign up for certain time slots, it does work to your advantage to sign up for the earliest time you can. There have been many a day where I've sat for an hour or more waiting for someone to come through the door. There are some people who automatically sign up for the last set of slots of the day. Well, if we end up having a very full day, that's not too bad. However, if it's been a slow day, and we are kept "waiting" for someone, well...
But again... If you're good and, more importantly, if you're right for the part, then it doesn't matter what time you audition. We want people to be Good. We want people to be Right. We are there to get the show cast.

No, the new driveway has nothing to do with the farmhouse, other than the new owners assuming it's their personal used car lot. ;D The drain issue is hundreds of yards away at the bottom of a hill. It's definitely a builder's issue. We think the builder has run out of money, which is why nothing has been built--he's had the property for close to 3 years now. He has the empty lots for sale, but at ridiculously exorbitant prices (even for Portland, which is one of only 3 cities nationwide to see housing prices appreciate last year).

I love all the usual Preminger's, as well.
-
Spoo!
Too late! :-X
Was it Zachalicious?
:-*
-
I miss the wowzers!
And they miss you.
-
DR CILLA LIZ - the stars are inconclusive about tonight, but I would suggest an upset not reflected by the polls.
Perhaps there will be a write-in for Bill Clinton!
-
There is a huge meteor shower tonight, especially for the east coast between midnight and dawn in the low northern sky....
Will we be able to see Uranus?
-
How many days/weeks/months before DR Sandra runs out of new subjects from the confines of her booth?
I'm thinking I'll resort to bringing things with me to draw. I'll look pretty funny getting on the bus with my mini-backpack, big flashlight, and a basket of flowers, but there you go.
-
There is a huge meteor shower tonight, especially for the east coast between midnight and dawn in the low northern sky....
Can I see it from the high southern sky?
-
Good day fellow dear readers!
-
Congrats Larry - what great news!

Busy day at work yesterday.... I had innumerable things I had to do relating to the end of 2007. I must say I was rather pleased to say that I got most of it accomplished.
-
TOD
I have only seen two Otto Preminger movies:
Laura
Porgy and Bess.
I saw Laura in a film class.
-
Can I see it from the high southern sky?
What - The meteor shower? Or Uranus?
-
Here's hoping that DR JMK can work out those "old lady" issues that has him dreaming about slapping one and dissing her in the parking lot of a Safeway.
-
Great news Elmore!
-
Here's hoping that DR JMK can work out those "old lady" issues that has him dreaming about slapping one and dissing her in the parking lot of a Safeway.
Just remember...
She's older, and has more insurance! :D
-
Will we be able to see Uranus?
Not mine. Mine pales in comparison to Uranus! :D
-
Great news Elmore!
What news would that be?
-
Speaking of which, I think I'm going to do that at the next sap who tries to get out of paying.
You go girl!
-
What - The meteor shower? Or Uranus?
Oh, singdaw, I needn't go to any great effort to see Uranus! It's everywhere!
:)
-
Not mine. Mine pales in comparison to Uranus! :D
I thought Uranus was bright and shiny? Has Uranus been tarnished?
-
I'm thinking I'll resort to bringing things with me to draw. I'll look pretty funny getting on the bus with my mini-backpack, big flashlight, and a basket of flowers, but there you go.
If you put on a pair of underpants OVER your clothes, I guarantee that no one will notice the rest of your gear!
;D
-
For the Pacific Coast HHWers...
I read that some nasty weather is headed your way... Please take care!
and for the Eastern HHWers.....
Stay warm and pull on the woolies and thermal underpants!
-
Or you can hang a pair in the booth... and say:
ARE YOU MISSING THESE?
-
Sandra, you need a pop up book with pretty things that you can draw...
I learned to draw different actors by using pics I saw in a magazine...
I can scan a couple when I get home from work tonight to share. Be Gentle...
-
Page S I X [/shadow]
-
Nattering nabobs of negativity!
-
Where is Spiro T. Agnew when you REALLY NEED him?
-
Time to suppress a yawn....and get to work.
-
I have no news about Uranus today. You might be able to see the meteor shower, DR RLP.....but you will have to look to the north.
DR SANDRA - where do people who work at parking lots park their own cars?
-
DR SANDRA - where do people who work at parking lots park their own cars?
I love it when HHW gets metaphysical! :D
-
stupid question here....
Lithium batteries are used in cell phones, ipods and mp3 players, correct?
-
DR Sandra - Don't forget the bowl of fruit.
-
It always amazes me that Uranus is good for almost a page of postings, each and every time! ;)
-
I love it when HHW gets metaphysical! :D
In the words of Olivia Newton-John
"Lets get physical"
-
Oh... Of course, when DR MBarnum and I start our casting process, it won't be a matter of which hour you audition, more like a matter of which day. Or days. ;)
-
In the words of Olivia Newton-John
"Lets get physical"
In the words of Paris Hilton
"That is so hot!"
:P
-
I used to take magazines... I even had a small anatomy book that I used to learn to draw body parts
-
It always amazes me that Uranus is good for almost a page of postings, each and every time! ;)
Well, with Uranus, words never fail us.
-
My feind sandi and I even shocked her brother with one part of the human body we drew....
He turned red
-
I trying to remember if sandi put little flowers on hers or not...
-
She has a number of human related books due to studying physical therapy years ago
-
stupid question here....
Lithium batteries are used in cell phones, ipods and mp3 players, correct?
You can find an answer HERE! (http://www.google.com/)
-
DR Jose, Uranus should be huge over Central Park.
-
In the words of Paris Hilton
"That is so hot!"
:P
The proper quote is:
"That's hot."
-
For the Pacific Coast HHWers...
I read that some nasty weather is headed your way... Please take care!
Yes, unlike the gorgeous weather we've been basking in lately. ;D
-
DR Jose, Uranus should be huge over Central Park.
As is yours over the Bay.
-
The proper quote is:
"That's hot."
Our favorite Kathy Griffin routine of late--Paris' "award-walk" for coining that phrase. ;D
-
DR Ron Pulliam, they are talking about the three storms here. We'll get the remains after you are through with them.
-
DR JoseSPiano - thanks as always for your well though out and detailed response!
-
DR Ron Pulliam - I really do hope that the rains are "kind" to you this weekend. I just got an e-mail from a friend of mine who works at one of the "nicer" restaurants in San Francisco. He said they were already discussing contingency plans for the next couple of days at this morning's staff meeting. Yikes!
Stay dry, and stay safe.
-
Apologies to all for mis-quoting Paris Hilton! :P
-
DR JoseSPiano - thanks as always for your well though out and detailed response!
You're welcome, DR singdaw.
And what about this bit of NEWS (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/113938.html) from Westport County Playhouse?!?!
-
Hello, everyone.
I am now caught up on the posts.
CONGRATS to LARRY on his publishing success.
I think he has the most interesting dreams of anyone I know--well, of anyone who's willing to share.
Lots of good suggestions for my trip to the video store today.
-
And what about this bit of NEWS (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/113938.html) from Westport County Playhouse?!?!
I saw that, and wondered what was up. Being a close personal friend of Paul and Joanne, I thought perhaps you'd have the inside scoop. ;)
In any case, those ole' pre-curtain speeches will never be the same again up in Westport. And they'll undoubtedly be shorter now! :)
-
I will pass on any rain this area at the moment... I am not in the mood to go ice skating.....
-
I know now which one of my cameras not to take on the plane... The mp3 player is safe....
yes, I got that for christmas and it is a fun little toy...
-
Apologies to all for mis-quoting Paris Hilton!
I can't believe I wrote that.
Or that I had to write it.
::)
-
Not a Paris Hilton fan...
-
JOSE, I really think you ought to teach a seminar on auditioning. I have no doubt from your comments that many, many people are poorly prepared. Even the best college program only covers so much material; you have the experience to provide valuable insider insight.
Does anyone do this sort of thing? It's difficult to imagine that there's a single niche uncovered.
-

Well, I won't be meeting with Paul and Joanne until sometime next week, after I get my haircut.
And as for those for those shorter curtain speeches... ;D
-
I wonder if Tazewell used Joanne's famous line from her movie debut in COUNT THREE AND PRAY:
"Ya wanted to be rid of me...well now yore rid!"
DR JOSE you will impress Ms Woodward I am sure if you remind her of Lissy in COUNT THREE AND PRAY and ask her about her lovely co-star Miss Allison Hayes.
-

There are lots of US who do the audition workshop thing. And there are many people who participate in the workshops.
However, there are many people who go to these workshops, and don't really take away anything constructive from them. They go, just to go; to say that they've taken a workshop with Mr. or Mrs. So-and-So.
But there's the bigger "problem" of those people who don't think they need to go workshops, that they don't need to keep honing their skills and presentation. If they're not willing to help themselves, well, there's nothing that any of US can do about that.
-
Apologies to all for mis-quoting Paris Hilton!
I would think we could have some fun here misquoting Paris Hilton.
;)
-

Yes, of course. I'm sure that happens in all fields.
-
I would think we could have some fun here misquoting Paris Hilton.
Just quoting her is probably hilarity enough! :)
-
Well, I must try to get a few things done.
Stay warm (East Coast), stay dry (West Coast), stay well (everyone).
-
Actually some workshops I have found very useful and others not so useful. It depends the delivery, the audience and the presenter.
-
I try to go in with a positive outlook but that is sometimes easier said than done.
-
Just quoting her is probably hilarity enough! :)
;D
Oh, yeah.
-
A memorable line (seriously) from an ad in Backstage from someone giving those auditioning workshops was the haunting "I know what they say when you leave the room."
-
It is sunny here and almost blinding...
The sun reflecting off the white snow is quite brilliant. Lovely actually. It is in the low 20s (above zero) here today. Reasonably nice for this time of year.
-
DBF made it safely to St. George, Utah. The moutains were pretty he said when the came up. He appreciated all the positive vibes.
He drove in snow covered land with the exception of the last 40 - 50 miles into St. George.
-
Our DS Rob is spending a couple of days skiing in Michigan with his girlfriend and her family. Here's the webcam (http://www.crystalmountain.com/winter/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms_WebCam1) from there - he's the one in the red jacket ;)
-
Good news DR DAKOTACELT.
-
He looks like he is having fun ;)
-
I like to do cross-country... Not too many mountains here however there are some very large hills that subsititute for downhill skiing.
-
Went dog sledding once... That was a hoot!
-
DR DakotaCelt - your DBF is in a beautiful part of the country. Will you get to visit him there?
-
I have not seen a whole lot of Otto's films, but I did like:
BONJOUR TRISTESSE
LAURA
THE CARDINAL
-
...and of course LAURA was remade in Bollywood-land as the film ROG
(http://www.planetbollywood.com/Pictures/Posters/Rog/rog6P.jpg)
I am certain that Preminger would have approved of the musical numbers.
-
DR DakotaCelt - your DBF is in a beautiful part of the country. Will you get to visit him there?
hopefully in March....
I need for Jrand to check the stars....
-
Good afternoon, all.
Congrats to DR elmore - that's wonderful!
I can't wait to hear Cilla's report of the day.
-
I am curious also about how Cilla's day went.
-
Julie is so close to post #500!!!
-
Julie is so close to post #500!!!
Isn't that when she'll ascend to the clouds?
-
Go Julie!
-
I gather the folks involved with NYMF this year got Kris Stewart's email that he is moving on from NYMF.
-
Isn't that when she'll ascend to the clouds?
Oh no! What shall I wear?? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-- Julie, with Singdaw smilies disease :o :o :o ;) ;) ;D :)
-
Wear something with a silver lining.
-
I have not gotten Mr. Stewart's e-mail. I'll look forward to getting it.
-
OK, I can't resist any more.
-
I must see what Godliness feels like.
-
I really need sparkles.
-
Wow. It DOES feel different!
-
Welcome to the Godzone DR Julie... You are now a sparkling new Goddess....
-
Light the sparkles
Crash the symbols
Eat some bugles
It's too gay, I mean, today
-
Empowering and oddly liberating.
-
Congrats on your new millstone, Julie.
-
Light the sparkles
Crash the symbols
Eat some bugles
It's too gay, I mean, today
LOL, DR FJL
-
Thanks, Dakota. It's a pleasure to be amongst your ranks.
-
I need a new goal.
-
Cute FJL...

I, too, had weird dreams all the livelong night. First, I was backstage at LACC and The Brain was having a closing night - the house was half-full of very vocal fans of the show, screaming and cheering. There were a few people I knew backstage, but most I didn't. We were trying to figure out where to go eat after the show, and I suggested the Kansas City Barbecue. We went there and the food was terrible - the sauce wasn't good, my brisket sandwich was chicken, the ribs were the wrong kind and it was all very annoying. Then, the next day I went back and told the manager, and he said it was the night crew and he'd have to do something about it. He already seemed to have a to go order ready for me, and he offered to give me the $76 back for the previous evening's check. When he handed me the cash I said there was no need to do so, but he insisted. I added the cash and it came out to $26 but I didn't say anything. Then I went home, where I had a surprise visitor, someone I haven't seen in close to twenty-five years. She was asleep on a cot in the hallway. Then Juliana Hansen came for her visit, and we had to whisper, and then the visitor woke up and then we were suddenly in some hotel - too weird.
-
Thanks, Freddie.
-
how about 1000?
-
Oh, and I'm up. I'm still de-groggifying and then I shall open the Word document containing the new book and start to write. Very gray skies here in the City of Studio.
-
DASH IT ALL!!! I missed DR Julie's ascension.
Congratulations to you, my dear! I am SO pleased!!!!
You will be hearing from DR Miss Karen shortly to take measurements for your toga.
-
Would you like to borrow my angel costume, DR Julie?
Congratulations!
-
Congrats to Larry. My publisher called me and told me I was the best-selling author of 2007 who lived in the City of Studio at my exact address.
-
I had a weird dream last summer that DBF teases me about. Apparently I was napping and had a nightmare about him chasng me with a vacuum cleaner
-
I never got a toga from MissKaren...
Wait a minute.... I became a god long before... ;)
-
Julie is a haineshisway.com god. Excellent. Perhaps Mr. Landau will achieve a major number by the end of the weekend.
-
Page 9 dance!

with Singdaw smilies disease
Oh, I'm so sorry.
I didn't realize I was contagious.
-
Welcome fifteen GUESTS.

Well... Thanks for sharing the first paragraph of you new book, bk. ;D
-
I never got a toga from MissKaren...
Wait a minute.... I became a god long before... ;)
You don't send me togas...
Anymore.
-
I had a weird dream. We were having a two-show day which would be attended by very important producers and fellow industry folks, and one of our cast members invoked the part of the rules that allowed him or her to accept an audition between shows and informed us that there was no guarantee he or she would be back for the start of the second of the two performances. Very harrowing, and luckily I woke up and it was all a dream.
-
Cute Jose!!
-
Wow. It DOES feel different!
Are you sure that it wasn't your dinner last at BLT Steak?
-
:) ;) :P ;D
Yep, its contagious....
-
Welcome to the Clouds, DR Julie!!!!!
Maybe we could celebrate your ascension by seeing Liz Callaway's act at the Metropolitan Room later this month. :)
-
DR SANDRA - where do people who work at parking lots park their own cars?
Well, I take the bus, but a lot of people in this outfit park in a free lot half a mile away.
-
Yep, its contagious....
;D
-
He was sittin' behind us down at the Pantages
And whatever it is that he's got up his sleeve
I hope it isn't contagious
(a Rickie Lee Jones reference)

DASH IT ALL!!! I missed DR Julie's ascension.
Congratulations to you, my dear! I am SO pleased!!!!
You will be hearing from DR Miss Karen shortly to take measurements for your toga.
Thanks SD!
I think I will also start wearing ribbons and bows in my hair.
-
WOW! WHOA!!!
I knew it was colder outside today than it was yesterday, but I just checked weather.com, and found that the current temp in Central Park is 18 degrees! Now that's cold!
Of course, I have a few errands to run, and I believe I shall take care of them now before the temps start to take their afternoon dip.
Lat-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-ters...
-
Congratulations to new HHW GODdess DR JULIE....and welcome to the heights!
-
The Dream O Matic 6000 is unable to decipher last night's antics.....
DR DAKOTACELT travel is favorable after March 12.
-
Satisfying ending to Project Runway last night. A ridiculous challenge.....I thought the winner was well chosen too.
-
It was nice to see the Hershey Store in Times Square that had been made famous by its write ups here on HHW.
-
Tip for the day: When the thermometer gets below 20 degrees, don't have sex by the reservoir.
-
Is that what's meant by an afternoon dip, I wonder.
-
Is that what's meant by an afternoon dip, I wonder.
Depends who's talking! ;)
-
I think I will also start wearing ribbons and bows in my hair.
Just as long as you don't wear ribbons down your back! :P
-
And one for Molloy!
-
an afternoon dip

(oops, too early :) )

I am hosting a little cocktail party.
I'm going to serve wine (http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:uIdQhbR-uT7kQM:http://customersrock.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/wine.jpg) and Cleese (http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:mZNM7kovOyeldM:http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2005/11/11/cleese_narrowweb__300x382,0.jpg).

**tap tap tap** Oh Fre-ed!
-
Are you sure that it wasn't your dinner last at BLT Steak?
It was quite delicious, but very pricey. Therefore, I wish to keep it with me as long as possible. ;D
-
oops, too early
Let it never be said that The Usurper was premature.
-
Thank you, Ginny and BK.
Question of the day:
If cleanliness is next to Godliness, does that mean I know have to clean up my apartment?
-
Welcome to the Clouds, DR Julie!!!!!
Maybe we could celebrate your ascension by seeing Liz Callaway's act at the Metropolitan Room later this month. :)
Thanks, and yes - I would love to do that.
-
no, it means that however messy things are around you, it is redefined as cleanliness.
-
Congratulations to new HHW GODdess DR JULIE....and welcome to the heights!
Thanks JRand.
-
If cleanliness is next to Godliness, does that mean I know have to clean up my apartment?
No, it just means that you have to live near a laundromat.
-
You're welcome, DR singdaw.
And what about this bit of NEWS (http://www.playbill.com/news/article/113938.html) from Westport County Playhouse?!?!
Tazewell's an old and dear friend, so I look forward to his version of the events.
-
I like DR FJL's better.
:)
-
MESSY BEAUCOUP - that's my new drag name, for the next time I play Lucy in ...Charlie Brown
(Has that one been taken already?)
-
The cashier at Borders just messed up. [Sorry, DR td!] He rang up my $50.00 item, already discounted at 20%, and added my 30% coupon on top, so I got it for $25.00.
Not too shabby.
And I am morally reprehensible for not pointing it out.
I must be punished.
-
I must see what Godliness feels like.
DR Julie, you've been a goddess forever, it seems to me. Welcome to the clouds.
-
I had a weird dream.
It seems I've heard that song before! ;)
-
For those that have been/and or performed there, how would you rate the Metropolitan Room as a venue?
-
Conga-rats-ulation DR Julie!
-
I had no weird dreams last night, that I know of.
However, I did wake up with a bloody nose...which continues to bleed as I am still sick and blowing my nose like crazy.
Oh, and I am watching another Bollywood movie.
-
Conga-rats-ulation DR Julie!
It couldn't happen to a nicer gal!
-
Elmore, did you get my phone message from the other day?
-
DR MBarnum, you poor thing.
***FEEL BETTER VIBES***
to you!!!
-
I've been in the audience at the Metropolitan Room (watching Julie perform fabulously in fact), and it was such a lovely space. Singdaw, are you looking to perform there or see a show there?
-
I've just updated my report on the Victor Herbert family after Victor's death in 1924. The children, Ella and Clifford, got along as well as the Macbeths and me. On Jan 1, 1950, Walt disney Studios bought the rights to the 1934 Hal Roach film of Babes In Toyland, and on September 30, 1953, Ella signed a contract with Walt Disney for a new film version. I wonder if she would have disliked the film as much as the Hal Roach version if she'd lived to hear Annette and Tommy Sands torture her dad's score?
-
Writing away. Must turn on the heat. Very chilly in here.
-
are you looking to perform there
No way!
I had just heard that the seating was, to put it diplomatically...
Cramped.
-
Must turn on the heat.
NOW you're cooking with gas!
-
Elmore, did you get my phone message from the other day?
Was that you?
-
singdaw - Hmmm...I got to sit (thanks to a dear friend) in the slightly elevated area, which was quite pleasant.
-
I'm moving nicely along. The unexplained stuff I was having to sort through has finally been explained....and should have been handled by someone else much earlier than today.
That's my lot in life....when in doubt, stuff gets dumped in my in-box to figure out what really needs to be done about something. And I'm more than happy to return it to the person giving it to me and telling him or her how to handle the problem.
No monkeys on my back!
-
Except, perhaps, kingdaw.
-
Feel-better vibes to MBarnum.
Maybe your neighbor's wife will bring you some soup.
-
Was that you?
Has the huge mystery now been solved, Larry? Funny how we never guessed it might have been from Mike!
( ;) )
-
Except, perhaps, kingdaw.
I am NOT on your back!
But I've got your back... 8)
-
Feel-better vibes to MBarnum.
Maybe your neighbor's wife will bring you some soup.
At any other site, in any other context, this sentence would have "implications".
-
Was that you?
Yes, one person's heavy breathing is pretty indistinguishable from the next's.
-
Maybe your neighbor's wife will bring you some soup.
Or maybe she'll send her husband over to deliver it.
-
On your back
Get set
Go
(almost a Dynastud reference)
-
It's lunchtime...and I'm ready to call it a day.
-
On the east coast, the workday is dying down.
The sun is westering....
-
Or maybe she'll send her husband over to deliver it.
Oh, wait. DR FJL said "soup," not "soap". :-\
-
(almost a Dynastud reference)
But do they deliver?
-
Oh, wait. DR FJL said "soup," not "soap". :-\
Of course it wasn't soap...that's what the market delivery boy is for.
-
And now the fun begins. I got some packages delivered by UPS just now.
Loads of DVDs (from sales on the internet).
HooRah
And Good Night, Gussy!
-
DEBBIE DOES SALAD - my new film about the pornography known as dieting
-
But do they deliver?
Stick with ordering pizzas, singdaw! That way you at least have something to eat when the pizza guy takes his money and runs.
-
DEBBIE DOES SALAD - my new film about the pornography known as dieting
BEHIND THE GREEN GROCER'S DOOR -- a pornographic expose of how the salad really gets tossed before it's bagged and put on the shelves.
-
I got some packages delivered by UPS just now.
...and that's what the UPS delivery boy is for. :-*
-
And why did we ever buy him those damn long pants?
(Oh, wait, that's so last week :) )
-
The H/Ks are in high spirits today, it seems. :)
-
Co-starring with Bea Lillie, no doubt.
-
In HIGH SPIRITS, that is
-
Let it never be said that The Usurper was premature.
Premature usurpation--I'm pretty sure there's a drug for that.
-
My, them handles is chased silver, ain’t they?

And I’m telling you, that pussy cat is quick!
-
Premature usurpation--I'm pretty sure there's a drug for that.
It's a good thing that there is no groaning allowed on HHW! ;)

On a happier note, my publisher emailed me this morning to tell me I was their best selling writer for 2007!
Congratulations!! ;D That's wonderful!
-
A memorable line (seriously) from an ad in Backstage from someone giving those auditioning workshops was the haunting "I know what they say when you leave the room."
Ouch!
-
It is sunny here and almost blinding...
The sun reflecting off the white snow is quite brilliant. Lovely actually. It is in the low 20s (above zero) here today. Reasonably nice for this time of year.
It's barely in the 30s here, but with wind chills around 20 yesterday, maybe a bit higher today (less wind, but lower temps). Aside from the wind, it's dressable.
-
Oh no! What shall I wear?? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Miss karen will decide that. In fact, we may have to pull her out of retirement just for the occasion.
-
CONGRATS to DR JULIE and WELCOME to HHW Heaven!
-
I had a weird dream.
From what I've heard that is reality all too often.

Yes, one person's heavy breathing is pretty indistinguishable from the next's.

Actually, Singdaw, we CAN do that. The coupon only works on the S.R.P of the item, NOT on the marked 20%. . .
The computers are programmed to do it that way. . .but I suppose errors could be made; I know that where I am, the coupon will only take off from the list price, not the sales price, and there's nothing we can do about it.
That is why we often point out that the marked discount is already better than the coupon's discount. . .
-

I've sometimes tried to point out errors, even though they were in my favor, only to find that it totally confuses the other person. I've learned to just let it go. Mistakes happen. There are probably others we don't catch.
-
It's so nice to see a new face here amongst the clouds. . .Welcome to the pantheon, DR Julie!
-
I've done three pages - maybe I'll do another one or two, maybe not. I think I'll go over to the mail place shortly.
-
I've caught up!
TOTD.
Laura.
-
I've caught up!
Well, THAT was a lot of silliness to slog through, wasn't it?
-
The Voice of Experience?
I heard that! :D
-
Do you live in a literate city (http://www.ccsu.edu/AMLC07/Overall_Rankings/Top10.htm)?
-
It was VERY cold at lunchtime. Truly felt like winter really for this first time this season.
-
So very happy to add a new cloud to the heavens for DR Julie. Welcome indeed!
-
I had the last part of a bonus feature for ROB & BIG to finish, so I began my afternoon with that.
-
Good Afternoon!
Errands have been run...
I was soooooooooooooooo surprised that when I went to the post office to pick up a package that there was noooooooooooooooo line at the package pick-up window. I was in and out of there in under a minute!
:)
-
Next, I took out A DATE WITH JUDY which has been sitting on the to-watch stack for weeks. They've found a very nice print for the transfer, and it looks just lovely. Mono sound, of course. I only got about an hour of it watched.
-

:)
I hope that's true for me when I take in a package tomorrow to mail.
-
Next, I zipped through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The gay characters were not present (though Luke's parents were). They weren't on the previews either.
-
I was in and out of there in under a minute!
:)
Why do I already dread and regret typing that sentence.
;)
-
I saw that PROJECT RUNWAY did record from last night. Hopefully, I'll watch it when I go back downstairs.
-
I also got the two review copy Blu-rays from Disney today, and I'll be watching THE ROCK tonight before SUPERNATURAL starts.
-
As for the cold... Well, it's not that bad. But then again, I'm the guy who also wants another 27 inches of snow this winter, so... ;)
-
Tip for the day: When the thermometer gets below 20 degrees, don't have sex by the reservoir.
Although, since the water is frozen, you can have sex on the reservoir.
-

Well, it's only a punishment if you don't like it.

And I’m telling you, that pussy cat is quick!
Well, maybe I did spend a little bit more time in the cold than I thought... WHAT?????????
-
I've done five and a half pages - that may be it for today, or I may finish the sixth page. Now to the mail place.
-
And Juliana should be here at three.
-
Welcome to the clouds, DR Julie!
-
This afternoon I went for a walk, and this is what I saw:

It is winter in Arizona.
-
Oh, my. My feet really hurt. Every step is painful.
I guess these shoes aren't good hiking shoes.
-
I'm heading down now to watch PROJECT RUNWAY and then meet the guys on THE ROCK.
WBBL.
-
We dont have borders in ND... Just Barnes and NOble
-
Laura, you always take beautiful photographs. I really do enjoy seeing them!
-
Thank you.
-
Metaphysics, again. . .
DR DakotaCelt lives in a state without borders, or so she says.
-
I got the new Frank Loesser book today from Amazon.com. It looks like fun.
-
...but I thought THE MOON IS BLUE was a waste of time.
It was a delightful play. You are probably too young to remember the god-awful ruckus raised by the Catholic League of Decency when the film was released - the picketing nuns sure added to the box office take!
der Brucer
Note: the play was the first stage production I ever saw.

Page 13??? What Hell is going on here? Is there an awards show today that I didn't know about?
-
BK lying down on the job
-
Sorry, I am still on Page One. Regarding that battery chart tha derBrucer posted, I was wondering why certain batteries would be better placed in carry on luggage, rather than checked luggage. Is it something about the presurized cabin?
-
It does turn a girl's head! :)
You and Linda Blair.

Years ago, my DH had housing in connection with his employment as the organist at a church. The apartment was located on the church grounds....talk about living in a fishbowl! In any case, our official address was 11 Parsonage Lane, but the assistant minister always used to tease us, with a twinkle in his eye, saying that we lived on ParSINage Lane!
You didn't sleep together did you?
-
Good Evening!
So... One of the more interesting items on the menu last night at Forte BadenBaden was their "Mexican Salad":
Mixed Ham, Raisin, Roast Peanuts, Boiled Egg White & Cucumber, Yam with Mayo
??? - Mexican? And for $18.95?
-I'm actually intrigued enough to order it sometime in the future. The far, far future. ;)
-
I've always like The Cardinal, too, and still remember going to lunch as a kid with Associate Producer Harrison Starr, who told me *not* to go into acting, but to pursue writing instead. ;)
Did he also tell you that you had a face that was perfect for radio?
-
Ironic, no North Dakota cities were rated....
-
Metaphysics, again. . .
DR DakotaCelt lives in a state without borders, or so she says.
depends on how one defines borders....

The guys from The First Nudie Musical. BK and Stephen Nathan together again
bk looks very striking in his suit!
-
Wow. It DOES feel different!
[move=up,scroll,6,transparent,100%]WELCOME TO THE HHW HEAVENS, DR JULIE!!

Not a Paris Hilton fan...
How can you be a fan of Paris Hilton? What the Hell has she accomplished other than to make Nicky Hilton look like the patron saint of the family?
-
Congrats to Larry. My publisher called me and told me I was the best-selling author of 2007 who lived in the City of Studio at my exact address.
Congrats to BK!!
;)

You are not reprehensible nor will/must you be punished...remember my story of the $3.01 jacket that normally was $58 (see Replies #326 & 327 on November 27, 2007). :D Okay, those coupons were all meant to be used at the same time, but it doesn't matter. The company still makes a lot of money. ::)
;)
-
Do you live in a literate city (http://www.ccsu.edu/AMLC07/Overall_Rankings/Top10.htm)?
Oh no! Seattle has slipped! :o
-
Wow, I hadn't looked at Bruce's IMDB in a long time, it has really filled out!
-
I had a nice lunch with Miss Hansen - we talked about any number of things (especially the number 24) and now I'm home and logey and I may try to write one more page before I completely fall asleep.
-
My imdb has filled out? How unseemly.
-
Yay for our city literacy
Los Angeles, CA 53(2007) 57(2006) 60(2005)
woohoo we are going up! ( thats all because of my generation's test scores)
-
Unfortunately, I, too, have filled out.
-
I can't remember if this has been posted yet, but Obama, Huckabee Victorious in Iowa (http://www6.comcast.net/news/articles/general/2008/01/02/Caucus.Rdp/).

Hmm.... "Celebrity Apprentice".... So bad, it's good.
;D

Quite the interesting turn of events.

The work day is -- mercifully -- over. I tell you, there are so many folks out there who want you to do "their" work for them it just isn't funny. I won't do it, of course, and I tell them what they have to do "now" to get the problem they've presented to me corrected in their favor so that they can continue to work their projects.
I don't take monkeys off anyone.
-
I've gone and done it.
I've started Page 14![/shadow]
-
I am, officially, taking tomorrow OFF!
-
Went ahead and did a seventh page. I've never quite moved this fast at the beginning of a book, but, like the Kritzer books, since this is the followup to MAHH, I'm not inventing all new characters. I am having a good deal of fun.
-
Yes, even the three-day work week was much too much for me to tend to right after my 26 consecurtive days off (that included weekends, of course).
-
I'm not at all certain what I wish to watch this very evening.
-
Wow, in just a mere ninety-eight postings I shall achieve 34,000 postings.
-
I busted hiney getting through everything I needed to do...sending out e-mails clarifying what needed doing with things that had been sitting for who-knows-how-long on my desk waiting for someone to make a "decision".
-
Thank goodness I'm not "officially" in charge. I'd have to fire everyone!
:D
-
Well...maybe not "fire"....but I'd have to find ways to fire 'em up.
-
Wow, in just a mere ninety-eight postings I shall achieve 34,000 postings.
And in 88 postings, I shall have achieved 16,000.
-
But who's counting?
-
It rained a few buckets this afternoon, but we seem to be in the "lull before the storm" now. Am wondering if it's actually going to happen.
If it doesn't, there's going to be some relieved people, and there's going to be some disappointed people.
I don't mind a buildup, but I sure do prefer a delivery afterward.
-
I'm not at all certain what I wish to watch this very evening.
Let's all pick the same movie and then come back and discuss it.
-
Or not.
-
I'm pretty stoked about FSM's upcoming 2-CD soundtrack release of "The Land of the Pharaohs" by Dimitri Tiomkin.
I have a 2-CD boot of it that sounds good, but the samples for the FSM mix sound better to my ears.
-
Any ideas, Bruce, on what special CDs Varese might release this year that will top anything/everything they've ever done?
-
I can think of one title that would fit the bill for any label lucky enough (rich enough, too) to release it. And since it will commemorate Robert Townson's 1,000th film score CD release, what might be better than Alex North's magnum opus?
:D

Time to skedaddle.

I believe that is similar to not accepting the dare of sticking your tongue on a frozen pole.

sticking your tongue on a frozen pole.
Like this?

Back from choir rehearsal. I thought for sure we'd be on page 20 by now, at least.
-
But the night is young yet. For those on the West Coast.
-
As for the cold... Well, it's not that bad. But then again, I'm the guy who also wants another 27 inches of snow this winter, so... ;)
Another 27 Inches, that is the name of my autobio..... Oh never mind.
-
CNN has been exciting tonight.
-
Alex North's magnum opus?
Obviously DR RLP is referring to the score for THE BAD SEED.
-
On to New Hampshire. I wouldn't want to be on the plane with a couple of the candidates tonight to be sure.
-
I had a mouthful of wasabi. I didn't know what it was. I found out, and spit it out. Should have read the package.
-
I should watch this movie about me that you all have been mentioning today.
-
For me the failure of THE MOON IS BLUE (movie) is its lead actress Maggie McNamara....I think someone else in the role....didn't Barbara Bel Geddes do the play.....would have helped it for me.
But Maggie is someone I can't warm up to....and I thought she was completely air headed and thoughtless in THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN, too...a couple of things her character was probably NOT supposed to be.
But....parts of the movie made me laugh.
-
CNN has been exciting tonight.
Oh, do they have Kathy Griffin on again?
-
I believe that is similar to not accepting the dare of sticking your tongue on a frozen pole.
I have never done that but I know of a couple of people who have...
-
DR JRand - Did you have some sushi tonight?
And do you know why they call it "wasabi"? Because after you put some in your mouth, you start saying, "WAAAAAA-SAAAAA-BIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!"
;)

:D
I think the hyperbole from Mr. Townson's own pen is rather nauseating, but I'm sure there'll be some interesting releases. The one you speak of above, just between you and me and not for further publication, WILL be coming this year, but not from Mr. Townson. Even he doesn't know this yet, so mum's the word.
-
DR JRand - Did you have some sushi tonight?

Not exactly what I said. :P

Word = Mum
-
You know, I kind of like Pulliam's idea - like a book club - during one week, we all, at some point, watch the same film, and then we have a discussion about it. Let's figure out how to do that.
-
Page 15 dance!
-
DR ELMORE hopefully that book will discuss Mr Loesser's extensive work for Ms Betty Hutton at Paramount....
-
Welcome eight GUESTS.
-
Damn. Maggie McNamara irritates me even in a still photo.
-
Will we never get to page sixteen? What a busy little posting day we've had.
-
Well, perhaps I'll go figure out what movie it's going to be.
-
Give me enough time ot locate a copy... I do not have cable...
-
My toes have been cracking like crazy today - I guess when I sit this long at the computer, writing, that all the tension goes to the toes and then I release it. Cracking toes is the great elixir.
-
Everyone here is turning into mums today.
-
I do like the idea....
I have a couple of movies I would like to suggest sometime.....
-
Cracking toes is the great elixir.
Only at HHW, folks!
-
DR JRand - So, what kind of sushi did you have?
-
Quote from: DERBRUCER on Today at 02:48:45am
I suspect Zach has no you-know-whats to freeze off.
You would be correct, sir.
I, on the other hand...
:P
Here's to DR Wigwam keeping his twenty-one digits warm next time he walks DD Zach!
:o
-
Mums are pretty flowers.... I like pink ones
-
DR JRand - So, what kind of sushi did you have?
The kind that comes with wasabi on the side? ;)
-
DR JRand - So, what kind of sushi did you have?
It was hot and spicy - from what I could tell. Someone else told me to get it at the Chinee Boo-fay. 8)
-
DR SANDRA's parking lot is one half mile from the parking lot?
-
Like bk always says, it is a most happenin' jernt on the net!
-
:PHere's to DR Wigwam keeping his twenty-one digits warm next time he walks DD Zach!
Why thank you, DR SWW! That would be within the next 5 minutes!! :)
-
I went to work early.
I spent almost the entire day at work.
I convinced der B that we needed to have Chinese food tonight.
We returned home from the Chinese buffet.
I crashed for a couple of hours.
I am catching up.
And that is the end of the news.
-
I have had sushi before... I dont mind.
-
Someone else told me to get it at the Chinee Boo-fay.
Would that someone be friend or foe?
-
I had rice with chicken and cheese.... It was about as close to chinese as i was going to get....
-
It was hot and spicy
And so was the food!
-
Page 16 dance....
-
Would that someone be friend or foe?
You mean then or NOW? ;D
-
I dont mind.
And I don't have a mind!
-
Never mind my mind....just stay on your own half hour!
-
DOCTOR ZHIVAGO is on......
-
Ah, we'll get to page 20 yet!
-
Time for bed.
Don't forget the meteor shower just before dawn...in the northerly skies....if you happen to be up and about around then.
-
I awoke from one of those "wow, glad that was a dream" dreams. In the dream, we were driving to the coast and had to stop at a store, which was a Safeway, even though we never shop there. The parking lot was full...
This proves that you were having a dream. The parking lot at our local Safeway is never full. It is never half-full. It is very rarely a quarter full. Our parking lot, on the other hand, is very frequently full. Such is our lot.
-
Smooches, kids...
-
Crack-a-toe? Isn't that east of Java?
(Or is it West of Java?)
-
And I don't have a mind!
REally??? ;)

NN Singdaw, pleasant dreams and dont let the bedbugs bite!

DR Jrand - Did you get some sort of roll? California roll? Futomaki? Spider Roll? Or did you have the more traditional sushi with the piece of raw fish on top of a small pillow of rice?
-
Wsan't Rock cruel to Doris in that scene, Jrand? You'd think he didn't really have the hots for her.
-
Hmm.. I wonder where DR Cillaliz is right now?
-
DR Jrand - Did you get some sort of roll? California roll? Futomaki? Spider Roll? Or did you have the more traditional sushi with the piece of raw fish on top of a small pillow of rice?
This is Indiana.....it was on corn.
-
Wsan't Rock cruel to Doris in that scene, Jrand? You'd think he didn't really have the hots for her.
Makes you think, doesn't it? ;D
-
Crack-a-toe East of Java was retirled Lava Come Back in later releases.
-
Gee maybe TV today isn't so bad......a lot of famous names got mis-pronounced in that scene.
-
Time for bed!
-
Time to leave work and eat some dinner. I'm hungry. Until later. :)
-
I like the movie discussion idea very much. I hope we can proceeed with it.
-
I agree MattH, I also like the idea.
-
I watched PROJECT RUNWAY when I went back downstairs. I thought many of the creations were really imaginative and fun. I, too, agreed completely with the winner, though I also thought Christian's dress was very original (but he's too snarky despite his talent).
This is the THIRD time the person who came in next to last got saved and actually deserved to go. I CANNOT STAND this designer. I think they're basing in or out on liking the person despite poor designs.
-
Next, I watched THE ROCK on Blu-ray. It's a big, dumb action movie, but it IS fun to see how it all works out. And the cast is great with lots of macho actors playing these parts. I hated that they made the hairdresser such a sniveling little coward.
-
Next, I caught up with SUPERNATURAL.
I knew that minister was a demon from the get-go. Just had a feeling they'd go there, and they did. Was actually glad to see Sam show some stones for a change and not flinch when something needed to be done. What that will reveal about him, of course, has yet to be disclosed.
-
After that, I went back to the bonus features for THE ROCK. Thy've ported all of the bonus features from the Criterion laserdisc of THE ROCK to put on this Blu-ray release. None of the bonuses were in HD, of course, and I still have two more of them to go before I can finish up with the disc.
The outtakes were especially cruel to Ed Harris showing him not only messing up multiple takes, but being really angry and abusive about it.
I was really intrigued about how they accomplished an underwater shot, not using real divers but rather using puppets simulating swimming underwater with added CGI work to give it realism. I've seen THE ROCK probably a dozen times in my life, and I never suspected those weren't real divers in that shot.

I'm not even sure I live in a literate county!
:-\
-
I watched the final episode of season three of LOST, and lost it. . . :'(
Then, for something completely different, I watched Clive Owen in SHOOT 'EM UP. More to come on that tomorrow, but, I've got to say that I was very impressed, and the DTS soundtrack is astonishing. Quite a clever set-up and the film barely stops for a breath.
-
Everyone here is turning into mums today.
And some of us are turning into Queen Mums!
-
Esteemed BK:
I suggest drawing up a short list of films for the "film club," holding firm to that list (no one gets to say "but I'd rather...") and letting the DRs vote.
-
Fletcher just sneezed right into der Brucer's face.
Not a little sneeze. A great, big wet one!
Such is love.
-
By a short list, I mean no more than five.
-
Another idea would be allow each HHW to suggest two movies and bk could pick one from each person or how ever he would like to do it...
Just a suggestion....
-
I think the film club is a super-duper idea - I will draw up the list of five films, and then everyone can vote and we'll pick the winner. Then I think we'll all have a week or two in which to watch said film. And then we'll have our discussion. If it works, maybe we'll make it a monthly film club here at haineshisway.com
-
Cool idea!
-
Joe Nichols is about to appear on THE TONIGHT SHOW.
-
Another idea would be allow each HHW to suggest two movies and bk could pick one from each person or how ever he would like to do it...
Just a suggestion....
Just think of the suggestion MBarnum and I could come up with... ;)
-
And the Roger Bart and Sutton Foster are currently on Letterman.
-
Oh... And Christopher Fitzgerald.
-
Just think of the suggestion MBarnum and I could come up with... ;)
Oh lord!!!
I can just see the titles.... ;)
-
I'm not sure I'd even be able to pronounce the titles!
:-\
-
Well, I might as well make it 500.
-
Welcome eleven GUESTS. I know who ONE of you is - no nah about it. People are amazing and I don't necessarily mean that in a good way, one guest-wise.
-
I hate to be a wussburger but I need to catch some zzzzzz;s since I work at 830 in the morning.
Pleasant dreams and take care!
-
Good night!
-
Der Brucer wants back on. Night, all.
