Topic of the Day:  the typical stuff of watching morning TV shows (I can't really be specific.  It was too long ago ;)) and just hanging out at home...usually.  Sometimes, my sister and I might get together with friends, but not all the time. :)

Such a lay-a-bout!

From the time I was 10 Saturday's were usually a full work day; delivering groceries and gardening until my high school years, and then working in a Hospital lab. (If work wasn't too busy, I could sneak away for a Saturday matinee. I would plot out my weekends to maximize my movie viewing - look for double features and strategize transportation; nearby theatres I could reach by bike, those located more city-center required using the bus/trolly/subway system. On a well planned Sunday I could hit two different double features! Sometimes free Saturdays were spent going to center-city and brousing Leary's used book store and cruising the City Parks.

As for the Topic of the Day...

I think I was into cartoons at one point and time, but... ???

I started piano lessons when I was nine-years old, so Saturday mornings for me consisted of heading over to Mrs. Young's house for lessons at 9:00am.  After the lesson, my mom and/or dad - depending who drove me that day - would usually go grocery shopping, and I would tag along.  -I guess I really had no choice in the matter.

When I was in high school, my piano lessons moved to the middle of the week - as well as to a different teacher and a different city - so Saturday mornings usually were spent watching the cooking show line-up on PBS: "Cooking with Julia", "In Julia's Kitchen", "The Frugal Gourmet", Molly Katzen's show, etc.  Then I'd usually stay in front of the TV for "This Old House".

In college, I loved the morning line-up on the local public radio station, WCVE.  "Car Talk", "My Word", "My Music", a locally produced 20th Century Classical Music show, some big band shows... Just lots of entertaining and usually educational radio programming that would sometimes keep me listening in bed until 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon.

Statue of Liberty's Crown May Open for the First Time Since Sept. 11

NEW YORK —
The National Park Service is considering reopening the Statue of Liberty's crown for the first time since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, according to documents a congressman released on Independence Day.

The park service requested bids last month to study what it would take to safely open the iconic headpiece to the public, according to documents released by U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, a Democrat from New York.

Liberty Island, where the statue is located, was closed after the terrorist attacks. The statue's base, pedestal and lower observation deck reopened in August 2004, after a $20 million effort to enhance fire safety.

But the crown and its interior observation deck, which soar about 265 feet (81 meters) above New York Harbor, remained closed because the Park Service said there was no way to evacuate them safely in an emergency. The narrow spiral staircase that leads up to the crown doesn't comply with fire and building codes.
Visitors are now limited to the statue's 154-foot-tall (47 meters) pedestal.

Question for DR's with "good ears":

In last evening's Capital Celebration, Brian Stokes Mitchell sang "This Is My Moment" and "Impossible Dream" - how many total key changes did he navigate?

Question for DR's with "good ears":

In last evening's Capital Celebration, Brian Stokes Mitchell sang "This Is My Moment" and "Impossible Dream" - how many total key changes did he navigate?

der Brucer

And who was The Lady in Red whose penultimate note must have been an H Sharp!

First of all, the song is correctly titled, "This Is The Moment" - from Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde.  ;)  -And he was singing the latest "official version" of the song which has the bridge.  However, the playout was different from what I'm used to hearing, but it was a concert arrangement so that could be the reason for the almost-discrepancy.

As for the number of key changes, there was only one modulation in each song.  The one in "This Is The Moment" is written into the music.  The one in "The Quest (The Impossible Dream)" was interpolated for Stokes when he starred in the revival of Man of La Mancha.  It is not in the original version of the song.  -And, frankly, shouldn't be there.

*I do have to say, I was a bit off put by Stokes renditions of both songs.  They just seemed a little too riffy and nightclub-acty to my ears.

As for the "Lady in Red", she was/is the wonderful soprano, Harolyn Blackwell.   -Her rendition of "Summertime" on Simon Rattle's recording of Porgy & Bess is one of the slowest - if not the slowest - versions on record.  And it's exquisite!  When I had the good fortune of working with her a few years ago, I asked her why she chose such a slow tempo: "Chile! Have you ever been in Charleston in the summer?  In that heat, you'd be moving slow too."  :)

And I think her penultimate last note was a high D.

**Oh, and the chorus last night sounded a bit rough around the edges too... And/or they were mic'd too closely.

TOD

I would visit my grandparents. I would stay over Friday night and watch cartoons as they had a color television set. Back then there was only the three networks and their mornings were chocked full of programming. Their two Canadian networks never really had programs for kids.

Loads of memorable cartoons and was shocked to learn that only a handful of episodes were actually produced and they just reran and reran them.

When I turned 14 I usually took the bus to the Lucerne movie theater (and others) and watched double bills of films.

A little older I discovered a Grindhouse cinema that had triple bills and they charged (when I first went) $1.25. The only downside was when DOM, who would try to sit next you.

-Now I'm just hoping that the cast members who are on the first flight out - they're leaving momentarily - actually made it to their gate on time.  The shuttle was a couple of minutes late getting to the hotel, and the drivers were a bit shocked at the amount of luggage they had to transport.  They did have a trailer hitched to the one of the vans, so that made things easier, however, we had to make sure we all put our luggage in in reverse order of terminals/flights.  We pulled up to the terminal at 5:30, and then the mad dash began!  Most of them had excess and/or overweight baggage - you need a lot of clothes for six months at sea! - and since most of them are from England, Australia and Canada, that's bound to cause some delays in the check-in process.

*And then there are some cast members who are flying out later this morning.  Some are even flying out individually.  I just hope that there are no weather delays in Houston, Salt Lake City and Phoenix, especially since they will only have three to fours after they land to board the ship before it sails out of the Seattle.

**And, alas, one of the lead singer's paperwork was still delayed, so he's stuck in Ft. Lauderdale for a few more days until everything clears.  Hopefully, he'll be able to fly to Alaska and join them mid-cruise.  :-\

I remember watching SKY KING and SUPERMAN on Saturday mornings and sometimes FURY.....

We always went shopping in the morning.  My favorite place was Foster's Five & Dime.....I had fifty cents to spend, which seemed like a fortune.  And if I saw something that was pricier, I would save my money until the next week, then I would have a DOLLAR!

One of my favorite things was a car - a Citroen - which I had never heard of, but I had seen in a movie or two.  It was yellow with a green top.  And it cost $!.49....so I saved for three weeks, but I did go back every week and hope it was still there.  It was!

Oh dear, I should have told this to DR JOSE before he left.

This weekend could be considered a humdinger -- to use that old word and expression. Once you make it through the challenge of the day -- Mercury in Gemini square Uranus in Pisces (4:08AM PDT) - you should be able to have the wind at your back and be raring to go. However, this Mercury-Uranus liaison does arrive with some embedded warning signals. Travel and speak with care. Know where you are going and what you are doing. Anticipate changes in schedules and upheavals before they occur.

But it isn't ALL bad news.

Add some logic and commonsense to your late-afternoon and evening activities. Despite the lunar polarity to dreamy Neptune, this can still be a night for fun and games, party-going and dancing the blues away. Get set for a rather feverish Sunday when intensity reigns and the up-and-coming Mars-Saturn rendezvous in Virgo because a serious factor to consider in your plans.

I will make an honest man of Anthony if it kills me (or society at large  ;))

Sing, thanks for the wedding report! Can't wait to see some pictures or hear about it in person.

George, I know the London cast recording of 1776 exists, but I've never seen it. I would love to have a copy.

We are on Long Island and by tomorrow we will probably have a cell phone in our hot little hands.

Anthony will be out here for the entire week finishing up loose ends and getting ready for the trip to Wisconsin at the end of the month so I will take the phone into NY, charge it, make sure it works, get the number, and all that technical stuff.

I will then report back to hell, excuse me, work on Monday, and work the week through.

That's all from Long Island.

Good morning, all! I had another late sleep and enjoyed the luxury immensely.

Most of today and tomorrow are tied up with the continuation of the Act One Babes In Toyland critical notes, now that I'm content with the new look. I have 35 more of the same  for the entire show to write for Volume 1 of the edition, 6 more for Act One and 29 for Acts 2, 3, and Appendix.

JRand, I'm glad Richard remembered the milk brand; I only remember the glass bottles, the milk being left at the back porch, and the deliveries of bread and milk every other day or so.

When I was a child, meaning between 10-15 o so, every Saturday spent at one of three movie theatres in my hometown. The Paramount Theatre used to show 2-3 hours of cartoons, Three Stooges shorts, etc. between 10 am and 1 pm, and my brother Macbeth and I would join my cousins for a morning of cartoons. Some Saturdays, when these kiddie programs weren't happening, we'd go to the 1 pm showing of something; there were very few Saturdays when we didn't see some double feature. After the movies, we'd run around the department stores checking out new toys and comic books before we either caught a bus home or my mother, dad, or an uncle would gather the crowd and bring us home.

By the time I was 14, I was usually spending the afternoon at the movies and the morning before it at the public library - piano lessons, as I recall, were Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm, and I would walk to them after school let out at 3 - and Saturday evening was usually the night the family went out to dinner, usually at Frisch's Big Boy and then my parents would spend the evening playing pinochle with family and friends, either at our home or theirs, and I would watch "Saturday Night At The Movies."

Saturday afternoons when I was a kid?

Usually, I would go to the Roycroft Theater in Seattle for a Saturday matinee.  The main attraction was always the latest chapter of the serial.  I had to see how our hero got out of the "fine mess" he was left in the previous week.

The serial I remember most was SUPERMAN (w/Kirk Alyn).  The chief villain in that one was "The Spider Lady".  At the moment, I don't recall the actress' name, but I got to meet her years later and even dated her daughter.

Sadly, the Roycroft no longer exists.

I did spend about 30 minutes this morning finshing the audio interview with Paul Schrader's sister-in-law who wrote the Japanese version of teh screenplay for the actors and who directed the Japanese actors on the set.

One of the most surprising things about her interview was the revelation that the brothers Schrader were estranged before this film and did not get along during the making of the movie, and she felt trapped as the go-between in their disputes. I had no idea there was conflict between the brothers.

I remember watching Saturday morning TV growing up from a young kid through about junior year in high school. So many shows came and went but I remember most THE ALVIN SHOW, HECKLE AND JECKLE, FURY, THE JETSONS, and Saturday morning always ended with SKY KING  at noon (until it was taken off and then we watched TOP CAT).

Saturday afternoons we usually went to the movies, and there were three in my town: the Parr was the nicest theater and got the really quality "A" pictures. The Midway got some good things but often the stuff from smaller studios or reissues. The Imperial was the grindhouse that showed all the old 30s and 40s serials along with reissues of all the old sci-fi bug movies like TARANTULA! in double and triple features.

DR George,

I can't tell you how often I listen to the film soundtrack of '1776' on CD and marvel at its quality. It's BY FAR my favorite version of the score ever recorded (the original cast album is something of a trial to sit through for me), and I'll always be grateful to have it.

As for the DVD version of the movie, I'm delighted that they added back the introduction to "He Plays the Violin" and the entire "Cool Considerate Men," but I WISH they had also added back the missing parts of "Piddle-Twiddle-and-Resolve" and the reprise of "The Lees of Old Virginia." I LOVE those verses!

On a well planned Sunday I could hit two different double features! Sometimes free Saturdays were spent going to center-city and brousing Leary's used book store and cruising the City Parks.

The flight back was very uneventful and peaceful.  Even though it was almost a full flight, it didn't seem to be that crowded on the plane.  -And, even though I was in the last zone to board, there was still plenty of room in the overhead bins for my carry-on - and everyone else's.  *As I was waiting for my checked bag at LGA, I did notice a lot of carry-on-sized bags that had been checked on the conveyor belt.  That was nice, I guess.

The flight got in about 25 minutes early, but, of course, the luggage took a while to get loaded off of the plane and into the terminal.  However, as soon as I stepped out onto the curb, the M60 bus pulled right up, and 20 minutes later I was at the 125th Street stop... And then as soon as I got down to the platform the A Train pulled up... And one stop later...  Ahhhh... :)

Better late than never.

Saturday mornings as a kid, for me, were spent right in front of the TV set. My brother Dan and I were the first to rise in the a.m. and we would head to the living room to watch Bugs Bunny.

Eventually our parents would awaken and make us breakfast. Then it was more cartoons, until the Bowery Boy's movie at 10 am and the Chiller Diller matinee movie at noon.

After those motion picture delights were over then, if it was summer, I would head down the road to either Jana and Crissy's house or Scott and Mark's house.

Saturday mornings, during my youth, were spent assisting with the weekly housecleaning chores.  I'd ensure my room was tidy, then vaccum the house for my mom while she did laundry and hung it up outside.  In spring and summer, I'd get up early and mow the lawn...or wait until dusk to do it.  I'd also help out by dusting.

At lunch, I'd get my weekly allowance, and then I'd be off to town for whatever movie I picked from one of three theaters.  Two first-run theaters were the normal choices, but a third theater offered older films (two or three years old) on double bills.

THOSE WERE THE DAYS!  I often sat through a film twice.

Well, since you asked:

I bank'd, and I grocery'd.  I would have walked from errand to errand, but due to the rain, I ended up taking the subway (to the bank), and taking a cab (from the grocery store).

Best of all, there were no lines at either place.  Usually the lines at my bank on a Saturday are looooong, and Fairway is never really known for not being crazy.  Both places were strangely non-busy and calm.  And almost all the items I needed - and bought - at Fairway were on sale too! Thank You, New York City!

I also just spoke with my Mom.  My parents got back from their Scandinavian cruise last night.  -And it turns out that they were on the Norwegian Jewel - which is the sister ship for the one that the cast that I just rehearsed will be sailing on tonight.

They had a great time on their cruise, and since most of the crew and entertainers were Filipino, there were able to "cheese-meese" with everyone.  ;)

Well, yesterday, just stayed home.  Didn't go anywhere.  Watched fireworks that I recorded last night today.  Not very patriotic of me, huh? :)  Well, I did listen to patriotic music all day yesterday though, does that count?

TOD:

I remember getting up after sleeping in and watching Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny & Friends, Sigmund & the Sea Monster (LOVED that last show!), etc.  Then mom would fix either pancakes, waffles, or scrambled eggs & hasbrowns & bacon for breakfast.  Nothing like mom's cooking!  I tell you what! :)  Then maybe went shopping with mom to the mall, usually Lloyd Center before they made it an enclosed mall.  It was really cool being an outside mall.  If you are interested, you can see here what it use to look like:

TOD - the Saturdays that stand out in my mind were when I was in high school.  My friend Eleanor and I would often take the bus to downtown Detroit and spend the day in the now-demolished J. L. Hudson store.  Sometimes, we'd walk up Woodward Ave. to eat Chinese food for lunch at Victor Lim's on Grand Circus Park.  If one of us had an assignment for Spanish to read a novel in that language, we'd visit a branch of Detroit Public Library that was behind Hudson's and had the best foreign language collection in the city.

Thanks for the congrats DR Laura (about fitting into my pants).

But the 3rd level of pants are even smaller. For some reason my nicest clothes are all in this small size. I knew those pants would not fit. Although i did try on 4 pairs of these ones today. I could not do up the zipper to 2. So i'm guessing maybe 10 lbs?

I also have at least 3 pairs of long jean shorts (blue, black and beige) that i would love to try to fit into this summer. I'm guessing they are the same size as the ones i tried on today.

But i do feel better. And i think my foot should be okay to start biking again this week.

Took DS Gabe out to get him all supplied for his world travels tomorrow.  Got a great deal on a closeout Kodak Easy Share digital camera at Target.  It was already marked way down and it turned out they only had the floor model left, which they sold to me for an additional 30% off!  So I got Gabe a neat little camera of his own for the journey (which even takes short MPEGs, like our Canon), for around $50.  I was very pleased.  I also made an important parenting discovery today--spending several hundred on Gabe seems to momentarily snap him out of his perennial pre-teen funk.  :)

So far today i went to the park. Made sand castles. Went on the slide.

Then went to costco to eat a hotdog (no bun for me).

And now my niece is asleep upstairs. She must have been very tired.

She is very proud of herself. Today she peed 3 times in the toilet. She got to ring a bell and put stickers in her book!

 ;D  Sounds like a good day. :)

When we were at Border's picking Gabe up some reading material, I got Onion's parody Atlas of the World ("now with 30% more Asia!") for Betsy.  It's hilarious--laid out like a BBC Atlas, but with one great line after another.  The little description under Mauritania says "Holy F***--they still have slavery here!"  :)

Special for BK: the daily food panic update

ASSOCIATED PRESS (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,376692,00.html)

Quote
FDA REPORTS 21 MORE CASES OF SALMONELLA; PEPPERS, SALSA INGREDIENTS TO BE TESTED

WASHINGTON  —
The government on Saturday increased the number of people reported being sickened in a record salmonella outbreak in which tomatoes are the leading suspect although investigators are testing other types of fresh produce.

There have been 943 reported cases nationwide, with at least 130 hospitalizations since mid-April after the first salmonella illnesses appeared, the Food and Drug Administration said Saturday. That compares with a total of 922 people about two days ago and 869 reported earlier in the past week.

The FDA also said it had begun looking at jalapeno peppers as a possible cause of the outbreak, as well as ingredients used to make salsa such as cilantro and Serrano peppers. Tomatoes continue to be investigated as well, spokeswoman Stephanie Kwisnek said.

On Tuesday, the government said it would test numerous other kinds of fresh produce commonly served with fresh tomatoes while insisting that tomatoes remained the leading culprit.

Investigators with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have interviewed people sickened in June to find out what they ate and to compare their diets with those of healthy relatives and neighbors. Officials so far have not revealed early findings, except to say they supported the investigation's new move.

Among the possibilities FDA has said it was exploring is whether tomatoes and other produce are sharing a common packing or shipping site where both might become contaminated, or whether multiple foods might be tainted while being grown on adjoining farms or with common water sources.

Officials have said some patients have told the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention they ate raw tomatoes in fresh salsa and guacamole.

CDC spokesman Glen Nowak said Saturday that the agency's scientists are working around the clock to try to pinpoint the source of the outbreak but are not ready to single out anything. Salsa ingredients, including peppers, are among the items being tested, Nowak said. "We don't rank the items we're looking at."

Yesterday, after I got home from the party, I watched BYE BYE BIRDIE - the 1963 movie, not the Jason Alexander disaster.  I sitll love that movie, maybe because it brings back so many fond memories of going to the Proctor Theater every Friday night.

Watching it last night, I was rather impressed with Bobby Rydell's dancing abilities, but damn he was skinny.

The morning of the 4th there is a huge 10K that runs down Peachtree. This has been going on every 4th of July for over 30 years. I have never been able to attend in the past, but now that we're living in town, the course is only a few blocks from our house!

Here's who Peachtree Street looks like when there are 50,000 people on it: (I didn't take this photo)

After the race, we went to Marietta to meet my mom. It's our tradition to watch the parade together, and then check out the arts and crap booths.

Then we hied ourselves back to Atlanta so I could cook a dish to take to the 4th of July party at the immpecably restored, award-winning Trammell House. It's owned by some dear friends, and we filmed their restoration over the course of 5 years. When it was finished, in preparation for a Preservation Christmas tour, I edited it all together and it was shown during the tour.

I was really happy with how this video turned out, in fact, it is one of my favorite labors of love. The couple has maded over 100 copies of it and I'm about to have to make more. Everyone who sees it always wants a copy. Too bad I can't sell it!

We all brought dishes to our friends' house (full of food!) and had a yummy seleciton of stuff. Afterwards, we watched the fireworks, which are always quite impressive for a small town, and then sat on the porch playing music until about 1AM. Greg played guitar for at least an hour (he hasn't played in sveral years) and his un-callused fingers were hurting quite a bit by the end of the night!

I sure do miss living close to this set of friends, mostly preservationists, but sure don't miss the town itself!

I had one of those days where everything went right today. I went to my "meeting" and learned that I'd lost a little over 3 lbs. this week. Then I raced up to Marietta to the fresh market and got great deals on produce just as everyone was shutting down their booths, plus I picked up some tomato plants. Then I was able to get my oil changed and belts checked, and then back into Atlanta to get a haircut, with various other errands in between and then did my block captain duties, worked on the egg cream film, dinner with Greg, and got in a long walk around the neighborhood. The timing of everything could not have worked out better. I LOVE days like this! (I usually feel like I'm spinning my wheels!)

Good Evening!

I'm back from Chinatown.  I had a nice time catching up with my friend, Jeff, and we had a good dinner too.  The entrees were basically "very good Chinese restaurant" level, but the appetizers were spectacular.  We ordered oysters topped with black bean sauce and steamed shrimp dumplings.  It turned out that the we each got one oyster, but it was a HUGE oyster, and the black bean sauce topping was soooooooo good.

Alas, since the kitchen seemed to be a little mixed up tonight, they served our entrees before the appetizers.  If the appetizers had come first, we probably would have scrapped the entrees and ordered more oysters and dumplings.

Well, I began my evening by finishing up the bonus features on the MISHIMA set. They included a crackjack BBC documentary on the man which is very valuable if the hodgepodge arrangement oif sequences in the movie were at all confusing. And, of course, they weren't restricted by the widow in talking about the man's homosexuality or other controversial aspects of his life as the producers of the film were.

Then, I went back to disc one and watched the film. It's a beautiful transfer, and having seen everything about the man's life and his works from all the bonus features, the arrangement of elements in the film weren't nearly as confusing as they might have been otherwise, and I certainly understood the parallels from his fiction to his real life much better from having seen all those featurettes beforehand.

Finally back and done for the day.  Saw Wall-E, about which a lot more in the notes.  Interestingly, because of the long, long line for Indiana Jones an hour and twenty minutes before showtime, I got there ninety minutes ahead of time - nobody there at all, I was the only one.  In fact, they opened the theater at two and it was me and three others who went in, one hour before show time.  Most people didn't arrive until twenty minutes before the film began - with Indiana Jones all seats were gone and they even began the film twenty minutes early.  They ended up with 2/3's of a house.  I'm beginning the think that despite the reviews of the year, this film won't do as well as other Pixar films, at least if today is anything to go by.  That, and the fact that unless I missed a whole series of postings, our usual first day seeing new films troupe hasn't bothered with Wall-E (I hope I'm proven wrong about it, and would love to read the posts if I am), certainly not as many as would normally be first to see something like this and report back.  Briefly, I will say that it's an astonishing piece of work, virtually perfect with two very minor things that I wished were better (both having to do with music).

I mean, just wondering if there's a lack of interest.  I know many here loved and adored the last Pixar film, but this is much, much better.

The few complaints I've read on various boards have to do with the second half of the film, which I thought terrific.  There's not a dud moment in the entire film.  In fact, I found the second half of Ratatouille irrititating in its standard plot mechanics - Wall-E, for me, avoids that.

So...do you want a copy?  Just let me know. :)

DR George, You are so bad! But funny! *LOL* :)

TOD:  Also got up and watched "Isis" which was actually my favorite (along with the other shows I listed earlier)!

Well, it is 11:45 p.m. Pacific Time.  Got up later than usual this morning but have been busy and now am starting to wind down.  Think I'll try to get some sleep.  Happy late 4th of July to all and to all a goodnight!

Back from the O'Neill and seeing the very new musical MYTH by the tremendously gifted  John Mercurio, a writer who has the ability to take amazing plot turns and twists and make them feel natural and inevitable.  Bill and Maureen were quite fine in their noteworthy featured roles, and John Lloyd Young was excellent as one of the leads.   We'll definitely hear of this show in the future.

Today, I went to my sister's to move three, count 'em THREE couches (I should point out that what I'm calling "couches" are actually smaller than regular couches...they're like loveseats, but slightly larger than those).  Fortunately, I wasn't the only one moving the furniture, but it was a hassle, nonetheless.  First, we had to move one couch from her living room to the garage.  Then we had to move another couch that was already in the garage, into the living room.  Then, we had to move a third couch that was upstairs in my niece's TV room, downstairs into the living room with the other couch so that my sister will have a sort of sectional couch.  THEN, we had to move a not-too-large (but still fairly heavy...it's made of solid wood) TV armoire from my sister's bedroom upstairs down to the garage.  Then, two smallish bookshelf sections had to be moved upstairs into my sister's bedroom.  And now, it's done.

Tomorrow, I'm ushering for a matinee of a local semi-professional production of The Rocky Horror Show (http://www.harlequinproductions.org/seasonpages/08/rocky.html)!  This should be VERY good. :D

Also today (Saturday) my dad's two sisters arrived from California for a two-week visit.  We're all getting together tomorrow and I'll join after Rocky is over. :)

DR George - Strangely enough, the one version of 1776 that I usually see sitting in the bins at Virgin is the London production.

WHAT?? :o  The London version on CD??  Or do you mean you see the used vinyl record?  If you mean on CD, BUY IT FOR ME!!

Please. :)

Is this the recording?

I'm pretty certain the London 1776 was never issued on CD.
