Danny Burstein---actor
Well, I've thought of a couple more (they're obscure, but legitimate ;)),
The Duke of Bedford
Donnie Brasco----Al Pacino role
Danny Boy.
Michael, this has become my usual Monday thing.
Not sure if I am spelling it right
Donald Bellasaro (Producer creator Quantum Leap & JAG)
BellisarioThanks
Don Bachardy - who always wanted to draw me in the nude.Such immodesty. The least he could do is wear a painter's smock.
Daniel Baldwin, one of the Baldwins.
Oh, and any Dick has to have been known by that, rather than Richard.
I know JMK writes reviews for DVD talk, but who does Matt H write for?

Actor David Paul Boreanaz, hunk. :)
Sorry to hear of The Ordeal of MR BK.....but it is in the past now....it is in the past.
We now have RAIN....yes RAIN onstage.....I am going to see it tonight.....interesting is all I have to say right now.....
I am agog! :D
I am agog! :D
I think it surely should, DR JMK!!! :)
How did your spectacular go?
DR Ginny - Welcome back to work!
*Did you save some chocolate treats for yourself? Or is chocolate on the "restricted" list?
DR JRand57, are they recreating or at least approximating the original movie choreography for the key scene?
Danny Boy was already done, DR Edi.
The first thing I said when the nurse in the hospital gave me the *orange card* that spells out the dietary restrictions was, "Well, at least I can still have coffee and chocolate!"
And, yes, DR Jose, I did keep a few items for myself. Also, I have enough to replenish the bowl for the people who don't come to work until noon.

I do know that I think it's a mistake for Don to come out into the audience during the song and interact with them.....
Well....some of the steps are there. I haven't seen a full run through of the number since DON doesn't know his dance yet.... I do know that I think it's a mistake for Don to come out into the audience during the song and inter act with them.....but I am merely a player in the production...not on the staff. :P
Just had such an I-am-getting-old moment. I called Ticketmaster to check on availability of tickets to Cher's show at Ceasar's Palace during my Vegas stay and actually had to spell the name Cher for the very young phone attendant, who clearly had never heard of Cher.
Owwww...that makes my sciatica act up!
I guess the moral of the story is that an itinerant pianist must always care an emergency, battery-powered clip light in their briefcase. :(
Maybe you could improvise one night and go out into the audience yourself. Invite some people on stage during the party scene, or just hand out an umbrella or two during the finale.
:D

I, of course, thought of Daniel Berlin.
Sorry, Daniel. I didn't think it was fair to think of you as a celebrity. But I'm sure you will be.
To jog or not to jog - that is the question.
in conjunction with the Dali exhibit.
So if you skip a lot of days your muscles must really grow...right?
There's a difference between "skipping" and "stopping".
Journalist and author David Brock.
Danny Boy? Does that count?
The then up to date list is on page five - this was done on page one.
David Banner [The Incredible Hulk]
Does Der Brucer count? ;)
HULK doesn't have a sissy name like "David" - like many heroes, he is a "Bruce"!
I know JMK writes reviews for DVD talk, but who does Matt H write for?
Monday morning greetings from - FANFARE, please - my cubicle at work! I'm kind of glad to be here.
David Bellisario, producer of NCIS. (I'm assuming he's either the son or brother of creator Donald Bellisario).
So the secret ingredient in DR ELMORE'S pasta is a cell phone?
Does Dumb Bastard count?
On TV tonight:
THE BIG BANG THEORY is rerunning that TIME MACHINE episode which I'll record this time; I missed it the first go-round.
I do remember Cher!
What made it difficult was the heavy bag I was carrying.
That reminds me. I need to get DR Kerry to sign his form and go to DMV to get a hangy-thing for him. The previous one has expired.
Or this:

How are we all today?
BK,
the rules prohibit pilots from taking off if, on landing, their total pilot hours would exceed their limit for the day.
Thanks, DRs Edi and Singdaw. Actually, I am glad to be back into some kind of structure. The only difficulty I had this morning was walking from my parking space - about a block and a half. What made it difficult was the heavy bag I was carrying.
THE BIG BANG THEORY is rerunning that TIME MACHINE episode which I'll record this time; I missed it the first go-round.
Can you and your injured co-worker get parking closer parking places while you recover?
DP Colin and I shall be going to see "The Band's Visit" a the cinema today. I think it is an Egyptian film.
Long Beach and Burbank are small(!!!!) airports, so their security screening lines will never be that long... even when they are "long". Long Beach has eight gates, Burbank has 14 gates. JFK has nine terminals, and 100+ gates.
*The security lines at ATL normally take anywhere from 45-60 minutes - and that's during the non-rush hour periods.
DR MattH, did you ever get around to DOSTI (not to be confused with MY BROTHER NIKHIL) ? Or at least the song numbers?
My car is now in the staff parking lot, where (usually) I'm allowed to park only after 5pm and on weekends. However, since neither of my department's managers' spaces are occupied this week, I convinced their boss to let me use one of them.
The young man who helped me move my computer about a year ago just moved my car. It's now about 20 paces from the door.
;D
So, did you have to be logged onto Facebook to see the photos?
:D And your co-worker with the cast?
DR Jane - see my post #359.
And thanks for the fanfares - they're great!
Data Base. ;)
Ginny - That's the closing night. I have a ticket for that night, so I'll most likely be there. Of course, Skip will be there, since he's playing the piano.
Headin' home - bye for now!
DR Jane - thanks for the update on your DH. Did you watch?
Daniel Barnum, brother of MBarnum. Perhaps he isn't famous, or infamous, enough for the initials game, howevr.
DRLaura was an angel yesterday and drove across town to buy me foods I craved but didn't need. BUT, you should have heard the awful things she had to say about all of you!! My! My! ;)
Tomovoz, I will be sad when July ends because I will have to flip the page of my calendar and won't be looking at the adorable tree kangaroos on my fridge!

DR elmore, thank you for the movie report. I'm not sure Keith's eyes are up to that yet, maybe next week. I think it would be best to see this at the big screen. Did you get to keep your 3-D glasses or did you have to return them? How will that work if we end up renting from NetFlix. ;D
DR elmore - I'm glad you were able to make it to the movies this afternoon - and that you enjoyed it too!

Just when you think that you have seen the strangest musical numbers ever made, something like this shows up....I must get this movie!!!
I think I once wandered into a leather bar in Portland that was sort of like this! :-X

And I'm off! To MoMA that is.
Hmm... They're screening Cecil B. DeMille's 1934 "Cleopatra" tonight, followed by the 1956 "The Ten Commandments". That's a lot of epic! -Alas, I missed the 1923 "The Ten Commandments" complete with organ accompaniment.
DR MBarnum... You are a puzzlement! ;D
Well, if that's what leather bars are like in Portland, well... Explains a lot! ;D
At the entrance to "Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling" they have set up a small movie screen where they are showing Buster Keaton's "One Week". It's basically about a wedding gift - a pre-fab house - gone awry.
I am not even going to ask what a leather bar is.
JFK is the worst and most ineptly run airport in the United States, maybe even the world.
We had this happen to us years ago, the entire crew was pulled off and we had to wait for a new one. This of course was due to a long delay. Waiting for the new crew extended our delay another hour or two.I had this happen to me many years ago on a TRAIN! The engineer's hours ran out (due to a crash on the Grapevine which held up connecting busses converging on Bakersfield), and we had to wait for several more hours at a tiny station somewhere between Bakersfield and Fresno. A most unpleasant experience.

Especially after someone decided to trash the bathrooms. :P
I am not even going to ask what a leather bar is.A leather bar is the kind of place where der Brucer and I met.
...Apparently, the lavatories on the train have a limited capacity. :oUnfortunately, so do the travellers. :-\
On the Metro-North trains up to Poughkeepsie - the end of the line - sometimes the conductors will make "Please use the facilities while we are still in Grand Central" announcements. -Especially on days when the train is full. Apparently, the lavatories on the train have a limited capacity. :o
Leather bars? Is that like in Oklahoma where they sing "The wheels are yeller, the upholstery's brown, the dashboards genuine leather"
I am so lucky I've missed those trips!

Has anyone mentioned Dave "Beauty" Bancroft early shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies and maybe New York?I've just posted the new list, at the top of the page. You don't know how to look things up?
I've just posted the new list, at the top of the page. You don't know how to look things up?
No, no one has mentioned Dave "Beauty" Bancroft. Would you like for me to add him to the list?
DR TCB - You and your wide receivers and tight ends!
Glad you enjoyed it DR Jose. We had it set to record.
I love THE CLOSER but i miss Dr Crippen, which is one of the great jokes in tv.
DATELINE tonight in its series of great videotaped rescues is showing the 12th floor fire rescue in the building at 7th and 48th when I was working there for the Drama Book Shop. I wonder if they'll show us employees outside wondering if we would have a job.
As opposed to "I am a Cog" - which is from Beauty & The Beast.
From Bruce:You have never been to Paris or, another favorite of Keith's, Moscow International.
I do, too, and have never been able to find out what happened to him. He was in a wheelchair the last time we saw him; I think he'd had foot surgery.
I do like the new guy, though. I also liked the very stern Asian ME, even though we only saw her for one episode (ably assisted by Terrence!).
"It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," in reference to the GE Carousel of the Future.
Ya had to be there.
Cilla, did you finish Kritzer Time?
