MattH, I am also looking forward to seeing THE HOLLYWOOD REVUE OF 1929. I cannot remember if I have seen it before, but I am certain I have seen scenes from it, at least.
Hmmm. were any woodpeckers involved in filming Destination Uranus, I wonder.
Speaking of embarassments, does anyone really - I mean REALLY - watch the Holly Hunter series or IN PLAIN SIGHT?
I've watched Destination Saturn and Destination Neptune, but it feels like one of the videos that comes between those is missing.
DR elmore - No crabby, be happy.
I watch it regularly - it has steadily improved and is quite enjoyable. (It does have last year's Tony-nominated Mary McCormack and Fred Weller. whom you may have seen very exposed in Take Me Out.)

Just feeling a might sickly today. And I loathe those three series!
That's from Sloth Pacific
I saw both Fred and his replacement in TAKE ME OUT. Dennis O'Hare gave one of the greatest performances I've ever seen.

...knocking out power to our 81 year old neighbor...
I trust you got her plugged back in.

Gotcha. Apparently, there was some bug going around last week. Lots of people with flu-like symptoms and stomach issues. I was healthy, but happened to touch base with a few friends over the past few days, and found that that was the reason they were incommunicado last week. I hope you feel better as the day goes on.

*And which DVDs were you watching/wasting last night?
MBarnum, where do you find all these hilarious Bollywood captions? Are they real?
do you think our DR MBarnum could think those up?
He has a hard enough time thinking up questions for his ageing interviewees beyond "would you date me?" or "do you find me attractive?" :-*
And don't forget:
"Do you find your (deceased) father/uncle attractive like I do?"
MBarnum, where do you find all these hilarious Bollywood captions? Are they real?
Absolutely! I saw it both at the Public and on Broadway. He was f*****g amazing!
You go, girl, and you're the only one who will escape The Wrath Of BK.
Miss Karen, what college is your masters degree from?
I have discovered something new that I like, though: CLEAR sparkling water, cherr flavor. Very sweet, but 0 calories, 0 fat, and I love cherry, so I'm enjoying my bottle and will get some more now that I know I like it.
Much as I've been trying to drink one to two bottles of regular water every day, I just don't like it.

DR Jane, re: magazines and scents.
On behalf of you and myself i emailed them a complaint!
Is that bottled vitamin water any good for you? It tastes too good to be healthy.

DR Ginny, I have never heard such language!
LOL, DR MBarnum. Neither had DH Richard - from me, anyway.
DR MBarnum-Nice robe. Do you wear the robes or only collect them?
Also at St. Vincent DePaul I found these two fantastic 50s lamps...perfect color for my bedroom and living room (one will be in each room). $8 and in perfect condition...I love the shades!

Just a little contribution to avoid getting bitch-slapped.
Oh, the weather today was simply glorious!!!
It's so fun to be watching Design Star and not be thinking about what I have to get ready to do in the morning for the trial
Thanks to DR Laura, too. Please tell DR Kerry not to go rummaging through his candle drawer.
I napped...watched part of 3 BULLETS FOR RINGO...sat in the backyard reading a book...and now I am here.

So, what do you do, DR Cillaliz? Just go wait in your office for a call that the jury's back? Or is that just how it happens on TV?
Jose, you'll be getting an e-mail from these guys I've been helping with their NYMF show.
elmore, you'll be getting a call, too.
The bases look like the heads of aliens with those eyes !
How many of the DICK & JANE series have you read now, Mr. Barnum?

Aren't they frogs?
In Phoenix, the lawyers awaiting verdicts always waited at Durant's Steakhouse on Central Avenue.
My other find brings back such memories of my childhood...Bosco and I were taking our walk today and passed a garage sale over on Center St. Amongs many interesting items was this nifty transistor radio in excellent condition (just a bit of dirt I need to clean off the front). Only $4. Can't decide if it is to go on Ebay or to keep...I just love it! And it works still!
Did any DRs have one of these?

Since TORCHWOOD is starting here again on friday, i have a question about DOCTOR WHO. They are repeating season 3 here (i believe you guys just finished season 4).
I was just curious if these shows can easily be viewed on their own, out of order.
%#* *@&^!!!!
Or, in more civilized language - YEE-OUCH!
I just dropped a candle on my foot - yes, the foot that was operated on. Was it a birthday candle? NO! Was it a thin taper? NO! It was a brand new pillar candle, about 2" in diameter and about 8" tall. Hurt like $%##!
But, it seems to be OK now and I'm just glad I didn't do something that stupid a couple of weeks ago.
My best find at a thrift store, as I think I may have mentioned before, was last year finding 3 unopened 1960s Aurora movie monster model kits, still in their plastic wrapping around the boxes. Just 99 cents each!!! They were amongst the Halloween items at Value Village thrift store...sold them all on ebay which paid for my trip to Los Angeles and my wide screen tv!
I don't expect I will ever find bargains like that again...but who knows!
I was gone from home about 2 1/2 hours tonight. More about that at some future date (if there is anything to talk about).
Do the aliens who abducted you have to approve what you're going to post?
;)
MattH - Hope whatever you took that time for turns out OK for you.

I finished my evening watching tonight's LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. A good case with spoiled prep school students that just made my skin crawl. John Shea was a primary guest star.
