Good morning eorge.

A question for BK...can you give any hints about what show will be your next release? Maybe what decade it's from?
Bryan Batt sings "I'm Not Like the Other Cavemen" LOL....

No need to tell you who the clown in the middle is, I suppose. If there's a camera around, he was always there.
Well my friend Vickie's mother passed away early Monday morning. She had been in hospice for almost a year. A vibrant and talented woman named Adeline Knoy......the "K" is pronounced.....Ka-Noy.

Our next show release is from the early 1960s and if anyone was paying attention to the notes in the last few weeks you'd basically know what it was - or who the songwriter was.
Question for BK: what are two or three of your favorite television entertainment specials from the past?

Wouldn't It Be Great If It Was ' A THURBER CARNIVAL"
And It Might Just Be That!
Thanks for the birthday wishes! It's the big 3-1 & I have the birthday blues. Never happened before!
You all can laugh at that because I'm so young & theoretically shouldn't have them, but I do. :(
On the bright side, I'm heading to Yosemite to spend the day & then watch the meteor showers from Glacier Point.
What luck. The plane from Omaha is the plane to Toronto. I will definitely make my flight. Laters.
My Lord what a weird night. I got in bed at twelve-thirty. I fell asleep at two, woke up at three-thirty, fell asleep at four. At 8:56 the alarm went off and I don't mean the radio/alarm I mean the house alarm. That is a first (and I hope last). I was so tired and so disoriented I didn't know what was happening. I finally realized where the sound was coming from (the alarm center in the kitchen). Once there and once my eyes focused, the alarm control panel read PH1. I had no idea what that meant and quickly checked all the doors and windows all of which were fine. I found my instruction sheet, entered my code plus "enter" and it stopped. Then I called the security company and asked what that was about. Apparently from 8:56 to 8:57 there was an "interruption" in the phone line, i.e. the phone line went down for less than a minute - that causes the alarm to go and is what "PH" means. I asked her what would have happened if the line hadn't come right back up - she said the alarm would have just kept ringing. That's not good, but if it should ever happen again I can call and have them power down the system.
I don't know exactly how the following will be received by members of this forum. I expect some will find it hilarious, and others will find it inflammatory. Most everyone will remark at it being a bit profane.
But, it's called Broadway Rhythm No. 1 (http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/6893605/) and it has its point-of-view!

She was a teacher at Cloverdale Elementary School for decades - the learning center there is named for her.
She was a member of the board of directors at PCPH for many years - played Bloody Mary twice, played Dolly Levi, AND Mame Dennis. I directed her as Rosemary in a production of PICNIC and we spent many hours in the ensembles of several shows.
Tomorrow is her service, my guess is, once again, for one last time, she will fill the house. :'(

The new release probably isn't DONNYBROOK!
(The "!" is part of the title--I'm not making an exclamation...)

But what happens if you're not home. Does it just ring and ring and disrupt the whole street?
Twitter seems to strongly suggest I follow this guy even though he's only tweeted there twice a year ago:

BK, I read all of your notes...I just don't keep track of them. ::)

So many that I can't think of any. Isn't that always the way? Ethel and Mary comes to mind.

Don't you hate it when you get to work, only to realize that you forgot to apply your antiperspirant!

TCB?
I wonder if a certain director had something to do with the interruption :)

Wednesday morning greetings! I managed to sleep 'til a normal time for me and feel much better. Maybe that means I'll be able to delay today's nap until mid-afternoon.
Thank you, DR TCB - haven't I always said HHW is a great place to convalesce?

In general, DR TCB, I think women have a higher pain threshold than men and many of them are more compliant. Not in this household.
DR Laura went for a walk, and this is what she saw:

Vibes to all who need them. Time for me to get some rest. I have a feeling that there are really cool things to explore in the city...I want to get out and see what they are!!
Here is Turkey Lurkey Time with the original Broadway CastI love the original staging of this song and can't understand what the minds behind the revival weren't thinking! They've made the singers bimbos and by doing so, they give credence to the office men's belief that women are just something to play with. What would it matter if they had an affair with an airhead who didn't know better? It's incredibly misogenistic and the viewpoint drains the song of any charm. Plus, the dancing is dreadful. It went from being a showstopper to something staged in front of a curtain while the set is changed.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EktVzsYjMJk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EktVzsYjMJk)
and clips from the Broadway revival with choreography that can't match Bennett's originality. This choreography takes the title literally, uses moves that are so 2000's and a setting that so grandiose that you forget it is supposed to be a simply office party.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAqsdWOhJ_Y (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAqsdWOhJ_Y)
and this scene from the film Camp is far more exciting than the revival. At least it gets into the spirit of the original production and more interesting because they are teenagers doing it

and of course
From the Bacharach To The Future BC/EFA benefit - Choreography by Michael Bennett, recreated by Adam Cates. Show was directed by Bruce Kimmel and conducted by Alex Rybeck.
No grandoise set and limited stage space is far better than the revival

Well, I actually saw and loved both SIDE SHOW and RENT.
That video was interesting. I will give it that much.
eorge!! How are you tonight?
does anyone here own a GPS ? what kind and do you like it?I wish I had had one for when I was driving all over the city and region. But now that I just go to work and home, it doesn't seem to be a necessity for me any more. Which is probably why I'll end up with one in the a couple of months or so.
would you recommend it?

Get one without an attitude, Vixmom. I was in a car with one and the GPS was wrong, but it kept harping that we were going the wrong way until we turned it off and drove exactly to where we wanted to be.;D
Today I went to Ajo, Arizona.
And that's about all I have to say about that.
I don't think there's any official television code today - just whatever the FCC mandates.
