Recording vibes for DR ELMORE......too bad about the soprano.....just tell the producer at least she isn't Kathryn Grayson.
Jennifer, what you need is a program like Photo Shop that as a cloning option. Using that, it would be easy to remove the spot.

A Song Played (Especially) on Thanksgiving and an old Favorite of Mine
Re: Mourning Becomes Electra. I also watched yesterday--for about 3 minutes. :) My assumption is that director Dudley Nichols was still in shock from having had to deal with Frances on Toast of New York. ;)

Wonderful news about Mr Guy Haines.....and the new album.

ASK BK
The Sound of Music was my first "Road Show Engagement" what was yours?
DR JMK - are the boys doing okay in their new schools?
bk - Has Guy Haines ever considered multi-tracking himself for a duet, trio or quartet?
My question today is for DR Cillaliz.
Dear DR Cillaliz:
If the police are asked to do a welfare check and no one answers the door at the house, can they enter to check on the person? (Obviously, if Grandma fell and broke a hip or if someone died, said person cannot answer the door.)
If they do enter and then find something illegal or unhealthful (such as squalor) can they do anything about it, since they didn't have a search warrant? In the case of squalor, can they report it to the mental health authorities or health department?
The list of songs we've chosen thus far is really eclectic - that's why I'm looking for a couple more theater songs - and if any of them were duets that would be great because Guy loves to do duets as there is less singing for him.
Nice house JMK and nice job negotiating the new gutters. I need to clean mine tonight. I can't reach the high ones, but the wind tends to blow them clean
Welcome seven GUESTS. It's funny that our GUESTS are the first ones to know about the Guy Haines project because our regulars are WUSSBURGERS.
Will Guy Haines be making any personal appearances to promote this new album?
I've always wanted to meet him, get my picture taken with him and, of course, get an autographed CD.
::)

~~~~~CONTINUED VIBES FOR THE DEAR MOTHER OF DR VIXMOM AND THE REST OF THE VIXFAMILY~~~~~
In the stupid things department:
I stubbed my toe yesterday--or so I thought at the time. Apparently it wasn't just my little toe--I bruised much of my foot, as well. In any case, I'm hobbling around. I don't think I broke anything, but it still hurts and it's painful to put weight on it. A friend who has broken his foot twice said that the only thing that helps is to immobilize it. Fortunately, I have nothing that must be done today (things that maybe should be done, but nothing imperative). So it looks like it's a day of rest for me.
~~~Quick Recovery Toe Vibes for DR Jeanne!!~~~
OH! DR Jane - I happened to stop into this little chocolate and candy shop on the Lower East Side over the weekend, and came across an item which "fulfills" two of your favorite foods. ;)
In the really stupid department:
I received a notice from the USPS about a parcel addressed to someone named Yamaguchi at my address. I suspect there are a number of Yamaguchis in the 'hood, but none reside with me. I phoned the Post Office and was told that I should drive to the PO, wait in line, present the pick-up slip, then refuse the parcel because it isn't mine. Oh, dear. I do hope that Mr./Ms. Yamaguchi receives his/her parcel, but I suspect that the Pony Express was more efficient.
Thank you, Cillaliz. That's about what I expected.
That was fun.Another nice SHOW duet

Oh, Walter! Thanks for posting this, Jack.
And for a duet, "We're Gonna Be Alright" from "Do I Hear a Waltz?"
I didn't either. Except for the use of that once-dreadful word "homosexual."And for a duet, "We're Gonna Be Alright" from "Do I Hear a Waltz?"
....And could include the "alternate" version of "We're Gonna Be Alright" as a hidden/bonus track. -Although, I've never really found the lyrical differences between the show and Side by Side versions to be that different.
Oh dang! I think Callie has a spot in front of her ear and right over her eye. I put some medicine on it, of course she's licking it off. Looks like I'll have to make a trip to the vet tomorrow and may have to put all three on meds. I guess it's better to just deal with it all at once.. Callie has been absolutely everywhere in the house. Maybe time to call Merry MaidsSorry to hear that. Hope you can get it all cleaned up and quick.
I am thinking the play version may be great......Russell just seemed too old to me, and of course with her as Lavinia, they had to cast the mother older....and Paxinou made the LOVE story between her and Leo Genn and bit ludicrous.....which may have been the point.
And, to put it politely, Paxinou was not in any sense of the word, attractive.
