I hope I am one of them, JRand!
And the word of the day is: CORUSCATE!
I had a bad dream around 2 a.m. that prevented me from going back to sleep.
Illegible always sends the best cards.
DR Druxy - Just in case: I never commented on "My Name Is Julia Ross" either. ;)

Well, if the guilty party won't admit it, we'll just have to punish everybody.
What's you're preference?
100 push-ups or 20 laps.
::)
Mmmmm...do they still make Dove Ice Cream bars? I haven't had one in years.
Project Runway's elimin-ee was very hard to watch last night. I don't think I've ever seen a contestant on any reality show take their elimination quite so badly. I worry for this person's mental health.

bk - Sounds like you had another successful LACC event. -Is there any chance that LACC archives these, your events via video, web or just audio?

Aha! A stool pigeon!

Last night, I watched quite a bad motion picture on the DVR entitled Dead of Winter. It’s really hard to believe that this piece of cheese was directed by the great Arthur Penn, but then I read that he replaced the original director, said original director also being the writer of the film. And the writing is the problem. It’s just dreadful and stupid beyond repair. The film seems to have been “inspired by” or is an unofficial remake of the wonderful Joseph H. Lewis film, My Name is Julia Ross. One character in Dead of Winter is called Julie Rose, and the lead character played by Jan Rubes is called Joseph Lewis. Mary Steenburgen can’t do anything with her poorly written character, and Roddy McDowell has been made to play so over the top that it’s embarrassing. In fact, the only thing that works about the film at all is its excellent musical score by Richard Einhorn – that is top-notch. The hi-def transfer looks like it was just a regular transfer turned into hi-def – in other words, it didn’t look too good.
he official release date is Oct. 26. The reason that the April
release was postponed was that I found a pristine black and white 16mm
print in the CBS vaults in March and E1 delayed the release date so
that they could use that copy instead of the one at the Paley Center
or Sondheim's copy.
They have done a handsome job of the packaging and there are wonderful
bonus features.

That's from bk's NOTES back on July 3 of this year, BESERK (http://www.haineshisway.com/archives/002920.html).
I think BK was trying to gaslight me.
;)

I seriously think the judges made a mistake in their choice. Two of the final three were predictably boring...one hasn't had an original idea all season that didn't look like last weekls dress. And "granola" isn't going to look better in high heels!
DR George - Congrats on your new modem! -And congrats that the installation process was "pleasant" too. ;D
TOD: The London revival of "Pajama Game" with Judy Kaye and Ron Raines.
"Steam Heat" is a great song to listen and dance to while driving in traffic, although I pity whoever is driving behind me.
Car CD: Disc 22 of 26 in "Vanity Fair." The end is in sight!
Mmmmm...do they still make Dove Ice Cream bars? I haven't had one in years.
DR Cillaliz - As for that "not having pattern baldness dance" you may or may not have done yesterday... Were you referring to Callie or yourself? ;)
Happy birthday, Cason!
Today is my half birthday, so I made myself half a cake.
Had a great workout at CR today, but I'm disgusted with the Friday weigh-in. How is it that people are beginning to notice my weight loss and my clothes are fitting differently, but the scale has not changed in 2 weeks?
Does anyone (DR JOSE) know any cast members of the current A CHORUS LINE tour? it's coming here
Lucky you, DR GEORGE! I went to Jazz Alley on one of my many trips to Seatlle. I'm glad to hear it's still there. Have a great time!
bk - Sounds like you had another successful LACC event. -Is there any chance that LACC archives these, your events via video, web or just audio?
Nope - I've asked them to in the past, but they never do.
I almost ordered PRETTY MAIDS ALL IN A ROW with Angie's signature, but then I remembered how terrible a movie it was.
Brenda Sykes, who plays one of the students, was a client back then. She told me that Vadim insisted that all the actresses playing students be on the set every day, even if they were not scheduled to work.
TOD: in a sort of amusing concatenation of review titles, I am watching both GOOD and SUCK today. We shall see if either title is truth in advertising. :)
I've also been in a Celtic mood for listening purposes, probably due to the misty weather we're having. Listening to Relativity, an obscure but very good Celtic group.

Thanks...it was almost worth the aggravation. I say "almost" because he very nonchalantly mentioned his wife and kids while we chatted about computer games and SuperNintendo (he saw mine under my TV). ::)
;)
I want to see this Japanese variety store next time I am there.
My sister and her husband arrived about 6pm and we ordered pizza for dinner. It was nice to visit with them a bit before they head out to see Mom and settle into their lodgings for the night. My pizza was just crust, tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms and easy on the cheese. Funny, no one wanted to share it...
Thanks for all the weight-loss insights. Some of my Facebook friends have also provided encouraging input, but the best was from my sister. I walked down to the bottom of the driveway to meet them and she said, "Wow!";D

I do know a couple of the current touring cast members. They're good. They're young.* But they're good.
*Actually, most of them are closer to the actual ages that they are portraying than some of original Broadway revival cast were. -Or something like that.
I saw the Broadway Revival with DR Jhvw the night before it opened
