Well, you've read the notes, the notes had fireworks and were posted in July, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're doing some fireworks and then they'll be here because July and cows go together like a horse and carriage.
-
And the word of the day is: MICAWBER!
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
We will soon be heading out to Long Island for the weekend.
No watching or listening.
-
Lots of relaxing and sleeping and eating (carefully).

Anthony stayed up until after 1am! I don't know why.
-
And with that, I will take my leave.
-
Have fun DR BEN!
-
Fridayis a work day. Of course.

I hate updates that try to install the Yahoo Toolbar or some other gadget that messes you up.....you really have to watch those boxes carefully or you end up with something that takes forever to uninstall.

Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And the weather on Monday, July 4 - a.k.a. my day off - better be as glorious as it's been the past few days, or I'm gonna... Well... I'll probably spend most of it sleeping and/or working on my keyboard part, but, still... It would be nice if the weather was nice.
-
As for the Topic of the Day...
Well...
*Although, I realized I haven't listened to a cast or studio recording of Oklahoma! in ages.

I am off to work. Oh well.
Remember that we had a partial solar eclipse earlier today - and we will have a full moon this evening.....we also have five Fridays and five Saturdays in July making it a MONEY month for investment and found fortune.
Good luck!

From yesterday>
Regarding the musical Ruthless
I think one has to know or know of the films they are spoofing like The Bad Seed, All About Eve, The Valley Of The Dolls
-
Regarding the musical Ruthless #2
I have the LA recording produced by Goddard Leiberson :-)
I enjoy it and have listened to it on numerous occassions.
I also have the libretto. The notes say it's a revised version from what was done in NY so I don't know if he recording is based on the revised version or not

Probably can add Gypsy to it because on the recording one of the characters sounds like Ethel Merman (Don't know if it is played like that all the time)
And also might want to add The Women to the mix as the characters are all women......
SPOILERS
The last minute of the play there is a male character.

Good morning, all! I didn't sleep as late as I thought. After I signed off last night, I went to bed and caught up on all the mail from yesterday. I don't believe I turned off the lghts until 1:30 or so.
Dinner at Lorraine's on the East side was a hoot. She's one of my favorite ladies and she make me laugh quite a lot. My friend Dennis Buck, with whom I've done several shows at the late lamented New York State Theatre Institute was her second dinner guest and it was a festive, insanely funny evening. Since Lorraine's background is Armenian, the dinner was middle eastern: cornish game hens, which were quite good, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, a dish of okra and tomatoes over brown rice , and a dessert involving blueberries and whipped cream. I'm not a huge okra fan, but the dish was quite tasty. Lorraine's got a couple of acting gigs in the air that she would not talk about for fear of jinxing them, but she finally told us the story of how she went from chorus to Leader and Tony Award nominee in ZORBA. She had been playing Fraulein Kost in CABARET and didn't want to leave the show to do ensemble in ZORBA, but a friend on the production staff advised her that it might be a good idea. And then it turned out that the lady playing the Leader had a lot of problems, Lorraine ended up playing the role at the out-of-town final dress before the opening, opened the show that night, and stayed with the part thereafter. That's a very fast summary.
DR vixmom, I don't particularly want to see FOLLIES, since my opinion of the idiot in charge is well known, but I will have to see it since my best friend and several other good friends are involved. Ron offered to pay my way to DC to see it, knowing I wasn't keen on it, and I told him that, in my current financial straits, I could use the money in much better ways than seeing the production. I no longer have that excuse, and I must admit I do want to see Ron, Danny, and Terri. They are dear people, and I wish them well. If I had lived in Manhattan in 1971, I most likely would have become a groupie of that original production, since once was not enough. I have one friend who saw the original 11 times, and I'm still jealous. Harvey Schmidt saw the original 1956 CANDIDE at least 3 times and I've never forgiven him.
BK, everyone reacts to personal crises is various and sundry matters that deal with both their damaged psyche and damaged physical state. In 2004, during my personal crises involving the collapsed bookcases, the abscess that needed two surgeries, and my crippled leg, and the situation in 2008, when the leg had me crippled again and unable to move, I was away from HHW for long periods of time.
I remember an email from you in 2004 saying something like "we miss you, get back to HHW" and I think I wrote back "when I feel like it!" There was no way my unhappiness, discomfort, physical and mental pain combined with an August heat wave and no AC made me want to be social and spend time reading posts, many of whch were often responses in a thread or outrageously funny, when one's sense of humor was sadly incapacitated.
Then, again, when I had the 2008 bed bug mess, and especially when my father died in 2007, I needed, and I'm still grateful for, the emotional support and strength this wonderful site provided. I couldn't have survived the bed bug situation, or the madness in 2009 with being crippled and dealing at the same tme with the madness of LIFE BEGINS AT 8:40, without my dear friend Jose, whom I never would have met if not for HHW.My father's cancer, treatment and death were removed a bit from their painful reality by my writing about the situation here, as though I were calling dear friends every day and telling them the current situation.
I guess, in my rambling, I'm saying that our DR edisaurus will come back when her mind's into being here, and you would be wrong to drive her off by complaining too strenuously that she isn't. I can't speak for her personal issues, but she most likely doesn't want to air them on this site, or even thonk about them, and I respect that. And I miss her, or I never would have sent her an inquiry on what was going on.
Let's get to the TOD. Since I have no mony at the moment, I'm going nowhere, except to tomorrow night's performance of DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY. I will be watching a lot of DVDs and the telly:
DVD: Duchess of Duke Street, season 2, On Borrowed Time, Love and Human Remains
CD: Le Cocarde de Mimi Pinson, Catch Me If You Can, Carousel, Promenade, Guy Haines, Liz Callaway
VCR: smut

JR, I am assuming some planet is retrograde in Ur (or anyone's) anus, as energy everywhere has been WEIRD for the last week or so. I felt the logjam break yesterday. But, hoo-boy, from some of the posts here to stuff going on at other sites which shall remain nameless to interpersonal stuff, this has been one wacky mid-year period.

You're going to just leave us like that for a whole long weekend-- with no solution to the mystery??!?!?!?!??!

Classic Moment with Gabe Department: Betsy and Zach are in Wisconsin visiting her parents at their beautiful far, far north cabin (right by where Joan Rivers got heckled in that doc--no joke), so Gabe and I are "baching" it. We went out the Cheesecake Factory last night, the first time I'd ever eaten there. LOOOONNG wait--almost an hour, but food was great.
Anyhoo, on the way home, Gabe who is soon old enough to take Driver's Ed, was "informing" me of what car I needed to buy him and I told him it must be awfully pleasant in that Fantasyland he lived in. :) I informed him he would have to buy his own car, insurance and gas if he wanted a car. Then he said: "Well, I'll just spend 100 minutes with Geico and get free insurance." And I said, "WTF are you talking about?" And he said, "Think about it, Dad, if spending 15 minutes saves you 15%, spending 100 minutes saves you 100%, so insurance is free!" I was laughing so hard I could barely drive. :)
-
I had been dreading this morning as yesterday Qwest ended their relationship with MSN. They had repeatedly stated all email addresses would still be valid, but considering my history with Qwest, I had my doubts. But I still have email this morning.
-
I took a little time off from review projects last night to parse through the BD of THE PRESTIGE, a film I hadn't seen since it was first released. What an elegantly structured piece that is, I think it may be my favorite Christopher Nolan film.
-
On a lark (what the lark did to deserve me being on it is anyone's guess), I pulled out an old Tears for Fears CD this morning (the one with Oleta Adams and Sowing the Seeds of Love) and am listening to it. I very much enjoy this group.

Does anyone else have problems with the lack of proper grammar and pronunciation by the Judge in the Casey Anthony case?
-
Is that grounds for a mistrial? :)
-
I think I must review HONEYMOON IN VEGAS today, as it goes wide on Tuesday. I am not looking forward to this task.
-
I hope BK will wake up appreciative of my mini-frenzy here.

Does anyone else have problems with the lack of proper grammar and pronunciation by the Judge in the Casey Anthony case?
I have problems with the decline of grammar everywhere, especially coming from writers in the media. Whenever a character in a play, tv series, newscast, novel, etc. uses the improper nominative case when they should be using the objective, I cringe. It's horrifying. These idiots should be be forced to read good writers from before 1950, and not allowed to be called "writer" until they can prove they can tell a "me" from an "I" and a "lay" from a "lie."
-
They supposedly had an "education," so prove it to me.

Friday morning greetings! How did it get to be July already? I have to move our October trip to the front burner and get some more details planned ASAP. I'd set it aside until my passport arrived and now it's languished for a couple of weeks while we dealt with the family stuff.

TOD:

DR TCB,
I think that you may be missing something on Facebook....be sure that you are looking at "most recent posts" on your newsfeed. Otherwise you only get highlights of your newsfeed, making it look like your friends haven't posted anything at all recently.

TCB, can you see when your friends are online? Maybe you are hidden on chat.

Yesterday I listened to the most charming 1972 interview with Percy Faith, hosted by Wink Martindale, believe it or don't. Percy was very forthcoming about how much the music business had changed by the early 1970's and how "MOR guys" (as he termed his genre) pretty much didn't have a chance anymore.
-
He mentioned that at that point he was signed with Columbia through 1978 but that he wasn't sure what was going to happen after that. Percy died of cancer in 1976.
-
Perhaps BK knew or met his daughter, Marilyn Leonard, who was married to Tommy Dorsey vocalist Jack Leonard. Marilyn died last year.

I am officially on vacation until Tuesday. I had a couple things to do this morning and accomplished them by 11:37am. At that point, I'm free!!!! Well sort of, at least until I go see my family on Sunday

I don't get why the Casey Anthony trial is a big deal. It's just a murder case. They happen all the time across the United States. What's so special about this
-
I hear judges use improper grammar all the time.
-
Today is the first time I've really watched this trial. I still don't get why it's so important that it should get this gavel to gavel coverage. No one is going to find out what really happened. There won't be any Perry Mason moments. It's just a trial

So, DD Ben is awesome. He was blocked into the last moment of The Wiz yesterday and is very happy with it. He went right to his bed by the piano and went to sleep. He's such a great dog. Very mellow, easy going, loves the dog park, etc.
As for me, well, as for me. It's been a tough "emo" week. Having a hard time accepting the new reality - which may be almost 2 months old, but still seems foreign to me. It feels like a relapse of emotions, and at times feels like a bad dream. I really thought I was over that, but it seems that I'm not. So... I'm hoping this will pass and DD Ben and I can get on with our life. It's all I can do NOT to contact the ex, as I'm sure I won't get the response I'd like. So, why bother.
We're off to camp now.

I'm up. Got up at ten and had to immediately do the four-mile jog, because I had two back to back mini-meetings at twelve-thirty.

Those are done now and I'm so sore from all this running it's not even funny - may have to go sit in the Jacuzzi tonight.

DR Matthew, a breakup does not make for an easy recovery. And, contrary to Mr Jerry Herman, time often heals nothing. Do not call the ex, go to the part with DD Ben, enjoy your freedom, and know that you have friends and work to help you through the loneliness and the bad times. I can only wish you well.

I guess the media needed a Trial of the Century this year, Cillaliz.

Not that Jerry Herman needs the likes of me to defend him :) , but the character said at the end of the song "time heals everything but loving you."

Went to the pool with my niece and then came home and went on a bike ride.
Later will go see a musical/dance/singing group and then the fireworks. The weather is nice for once. So i don't think we'll have to worry about rain.

RE: facebook.
I have started using it a lot more and I think I do the opposite of what most people do. I have "liked" a lot of book groups, tv shows, authors ... and it can actually take me a while to go through all the new posts on my wall.

Happy Canada Day, Jennifer!

Hello, everyone.
Hugs to DR Matthew. FWIW, I, too, think you are doing the right thing. You may want to find more places to take DD Ben. Soon you'll find you have a new life.
-
DR JMK, and just what sort of vehicle did DS Gabe feel you should be providing?
-
Happy Canada Day from me, too. For all DRs.

Maybe that's why Jennifer never answered the question of whether she'll go see The Brain From Planet X in Montreal in French. Too busy on Facebook. Pogue lives there, you know. 24/7.
-
I am doing laundry (obligatory mention). I've also been talking to one of my neighbors about the young couple who live above him and next to me. Several times I've sworn they were going right through the wall. So much banging! I really, really detest noise. I've started looking for another place to live, but don't want to find myself in different quarters, but with the same complaints. (different complaint, please)

TOD:
THE GOOD WIFE

Didn't Jennifer say she'd like to the The Brain in French, but that it's quite a drive?
-
I'd like the see The Brain in French, but it's quite a drive for me, too.
-
DR Matthew, so glad DD Ben has turned out to be such good company...I knew he would!
Just focus on your hobbies, friends, and projects. When you feel overwhelmed watch a movie that will make you cry it all out or laugh it all out. Maybe start going to the gym (if you don't already) and you can work it out. Be good to yourself. Eventually, the hurt will lessen...and you may find that it was all for the best.
-
We now have the Western Channel!
So far we have:
THE LAWMAN
WAGON TRAIN
MAVERICK
HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL
The other night we watched an early Maverick & were bored ;D This was before words were put to the music & James Garner was cute but lacked the same level of charm in later episodes.

From Netflix we have:
LARKRISE TO CANDLEFORD
BRAMWELL
-
Perhaps, BK, you should be paying more attention to the HHWers posts that are posted here, and worry less about who is on Facebook.
AS it is, you usually miss half of my posts...of course, that might be on purpose, I don't know.
But if I had a dime for every Wednesday BK question of the day of mine you have missed or ignored, I'd have enough money to fly both Jennifer and myself to the Canadian BRAIN FROM PLANET X.

DR Jane, glad you finally got the Western Channel! Now check to see if you have Antenna TV...so much vintage TV goodness on that one, too!

I just ate a leftover piece of cake.
Oops! That should have been a Facebook post. :D

On Facebook I am now friends with 1960s actress Sherry Jackson, 1970s porn stars Annette Haven and Herschel Savage (although he rarely ever posts anything), Bollywood film director Onir, and 1960s Mr. America Bill Pearl.
Now, there's 5 very good reasons for hanging out at Facebook!!

Over course I have about 40 or 50 good reasons for hanging out on HHW, as well! ;D

I gotta tell you.

I'm not sure if I know who Ben Harper is, but everyone says I do. The rest of the acts are listed on the website. There are two stages, one more local bands and the other National Acts. It starts at noon and goes until about 10:00 or 11:00 PM followed by fireworks. It's fun!

Ohhh, 98 degree heat index, not so sure I'll head down there

Maybe I'll go to facebook and see who else is going to the parade ;)

DR elmore, DEBIT CARD VIBES!!!
I just hope it dosn't turn out to bite my ass by being something I actually ordered and forgot about, but two companies based in CT have been taking out of my account every moth since April $26.95 and $23.95. I called the numbers on my bank statement for both companies and one of them cannot identify me by my home phone number, which most crdit card orders require. The other one gave me a "membership number" in the basis of my phone number, but neither company could provide me with a live person to address my concerns.
-
I've been cleaning a little but I'm so very slow it is frustrating. It does feel good to be able to clean. :)
-
DR elmore I hope you can get your money back!!!!!
-
I have no idea where DS Bryan & his wife slept last night as they couldn't move into their new apartment until today. I figure they have too much to do to bother them with my curiosity. I'll know soon enough once Bryan is here.
-
I just watched an episode of "Hoarders" on the computer, Jane. I am also doing some straightening up.
-
Somehow I have hurt my lower back. I wonder if it happened when I fell hiking last month. It didn't begin to hurt right away -- it was about a week later. Doing yard work today probably didn't help things.
-
Everytime after DW Wife Betsy watches an episode of "Hoarders," she begins manically straightening up the house. I try to encourage her to watch as much as possible. :)
-
I have heard of the show but never saw it. We've never had cable.

I wish I had that response...I am NO WHERE near what they're like, but my TV/computer room (where I spend all my time) is quite cluttered. ::) The rest of my house is less so, however.

lol. I love carousels & have a nice wind up musical one here as well as a good sized snow globe with a carousel horse inside. I'm going to see if two year old Eli would/may have them when she is here. Otherwise I'm not sure I can part with them.
-
DR Laura I hope your back feels better soon. Have you done some stretches?

I've taken some advil and heat. It felt much better this morning. But I shouldn't have done so much yard work.

Not that Jerry Herman needs the likes of me to defend him :) , but the character said at the end of the song "time heals everything but loving you."
I've heard too much of that "time heals everything" phrase this week. Unfortunately, for me, both cases involved incest ("The Sound and the Fury" and "The Kalevala"). Ewww.
-
Happy Birthday, Kitty! She is very pretty.

I'm afraid with my house in its current state, I'd belong on that show. But the dishwasher was installed today, so a few dishes at least can come clean.

Thank you DR Laura.

Kitty is a little girl.
Happy, happy!

I should try & finish my little project so I can do other things tomorrow.

Richard and I went to the First Friday open house at our new Pendleton Art Center (http://www.pendletonartcenter.com/middletown_oh.html). We ate a light supper from the cafe there, then wandered through the studios and chatted with our favorite artists.

I am very tired this evening. It has become more and more exhausting to try and get around using my cane. Today I stopped to get some groceries, and I was only half-way down the first aisle; and I suddenly just knew I couldn't do it. So, I turned around, went out to my car, and I drove home. Fortunately there was nothing "vital" that I needed, but tomorrow I have to shop.

I hear fireworks.....again

I went to the end of the big parade. They had over 110,000 beads to throw out to the crowd this year. I was amazed at the men in their 20s and 30s who were grabbing them before the could get to the ground. Some had kids, but many didn't .. I got a few strands, but that's ok, I still have some from last year, and the year before, and the year before....

It was a strange crowd for the the concert. I didn't see anyone I know. Lots of people with small children who were obviously too tired and hot to be at a concert. I saw one boy in particular whose mother didn't seem to notice how hot and tired he looked. Just as I was about to say something (I watched for a good 15 minutes) She picked him up and since they had gallons of water on the table in front of them, I'm assuming she gave him a drink.
-
Anyway, it was a strange vibe and the music was REALLY loud. It was in a parking lot and there is a lot of pavement there. I'm sure the band will sound better tomorrow. The band shell is a much better venue.

Here's the Variety obituary for Jimmy Roselli:
Crooner Jimmy Roselli dies
Specialty was Neapolitan songs
By CARMEL DAGAN
Jimmy Roselli, an Italian-American singer whose recording of signature tune "Mala Femmina" was featured twice in Martin Scorsese's "Mean Streets," died on Thursday, June 30, from heart complications. He was 85.
Roselli lived in the shadow of Frank Sinatra. The two singers were raised five houses apart in Hoboken, N.J., and each got his break while in his teens on radio show "Major Bowe's Amateur Hour." David Evanier, who penned the 1998 Roselli biography "Making the Wiseguys Weep," declared in the book's opening line, "Jimmy Roselli is Hoboken's other great singer.''
The Roselli fans who authored the Wikipedia entry on him assert his superiority to Sinatra with this sentence: "Unlike Sinatra, who rarely recorded in Italian and could not speak his mother tongue, Roselli sings in perfect Neapolitan dialect."
Roselli and Sinatra shared a lifelong enmity -- mentioned even in the press release announcing Roselli's death -- which Roselli partisans assert is one reason he never became more successful than he was. The other reason, they say: He, unlike Sinatra, refused to play ball with the mob.
As the New York Times' Vincent Patrick noted in his review of Evanier's bio, however, Roselli had a certain perverse streak that made it difficult for him to get along with anybody: "He turned down the role of Peppino, the Neapolitan singer in 'The Godfather Part II,' as well as appearances on Johnny Carson's 'Tonight Show' and 'Regis and Kathie Lee,' because none of them would pay what he thought he was worth."
Roselli appeared three times on "The Ed Sullivan Show" but walked off after a perceived slight. Sullivan said, "It's exposure, Jimmy,'' to which Roselli responded, "I got so much exposure, I'm gonna catch pneumonia.''
He was nevertheless a talented singer with a natural tenor voice -- he never took lessons -- who found a certain level of success.
Michael John Roselli started singing at the age of 9 in local saloons and restaurants. He had his break on the radio at age 14, too young to tour, and he didn't really resume his career until after his military service ended in 1945.
Roselli sang American standards but specialized in the old songs of Naples. In Paolo Santoni's 2002 Italian documentary "Neapolitan Heart," about this cherished regional form on Italian music, the prominently featured Roselli exclaims, "To sing Neapolitan songs, first of all, you need heart. Then a brain, then a voice and -- balls."
The crooner cultivated not only Italian-American fans but, through his appearances in the Catskills, Jewish ones as well.
Roselli signed with United Artist Records in the early 1960s. His recording of the classic Neapolitan song "Mala Femmina" (Bad Woman) was the only non-English song to make the charts when it was released nationwide in 1965. He then followed with such hits as "Aneme' Core" and "Old Wedding Ring." He had a hit single in the U.K., "There Must Be a Way." Roselli, his agent claimed, was the first to sell out two shows on a Monday night at Carnegie Hall in 1966. He also sold out shows at New York's Palace Theater and Copacabana, the Sands in Las Vegas, and London's Paladium and Royal Albert Hall.
The singer recorded a theme for the 1966 movie "Africa Addio" with the Rome Symphony, conducted by Riz Ortolani, composer of "More." He also recorded the title song for the film "Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell," starring Gina Lollabrigida.
Ultimately, Roselli had a lucrative career, commanding "top pay of anywhere from $65,000 to $120,000 per night based on the venue," according to his agent.
Perhaps Roselli's inclusion in his act of the song "My Way" best summed up his career. The tune, with its famous lyrics by Paul Anka, has been used by many -- including Sid Vicious -- to establish a singer's individualistic, even contrarian attitude. And yet it was also the signature song of Frank Sinatra.
Roselli's opening acts included comedians Rodney Dangerfield, Pat Henry, Myron Cohen, Lou Carey, Jackie Mason and Ray Romano.
Jimmy Roselli retired in 2004. He leaves behind his wife, Donna; a daughter; and a grandson.

BK, I did answer your question as soon as I saw it (was it yesterday?)
Not sure if the Winnipeg part was a joke (since it's across the country). DR Jeanne is right, I said I would like to see the other production but it is quite far for me at a small school i've never heard of.
Btw, I was at the fireworks. It's a holiday here.

I really like Facebook. My family and many friends are there. I agree with those who say that complaining about it so much is going to drive people away rather than bringing them back.
Really? Then I think I'll just keep my mouth shut then and if that's where people want to hang out then so be it. And "so much" is relative - in the scheme of things I hardly mention it at all - maybe five times in the last year. That doesn't translate as "so much" to me, but that's just me. I'll say no more about it.

Search The Brain on Facebook (yes, Facebook) and you'll find it. Or Google it under The Brain or LesCortex de la Planete X.

BK, I haven't counted the number of times you've mentioned it and have no plan to do that, but it does seem like you mention that someone is not here but they are on Facebook a lot.
I hope some day that all the friends from HHW who haven't been here in a while come back. I miss them all. I don't know why they left or why they don't stop back. But I am glad that I still see their posts on Facebook and at least know that they are ok.

Correct, I've said it about five times - mostly, I have to say, about Pogue, who lives, sleeps and breathes there. I don't talk about others, really, other than edisaurus this last time, and a handful of others.

I think it's cool that the Brain will be in French.

that is what it's being billed as being similar to, but supposedly one will have more channels, so you can hide what you think of your boss from the people you work with or what you think of your mom from the family, etc.
-
So does that mean Facebook will be the new MySpace?
MySpace sold for only $35 million. That's less than half the amount some of these sleazebags in "Inside Job" made in a single year.

Good Evening!
So... Before I head to bed...
-
Today was a good rehearsal day. We had a nice work-thru of Act Two - I even started to get teary-eyed a few times. And tonight's orchestral rehearsal went very well too. Since this is a remount, we used one of the regularly scheduled rehearsal slots to do a very thorough "pit fit" and sound check in the theater. Quite productive! -And I was very happy - and relieved - to hear that my keyboard programming worked too!
-
bk - If you keep noticing that some people are spending "all of their time" on Facebook, well, that means that you must be too. ::)
-
I hear everybody in the pit at OKLAHOMA! will be dressed as either a farmer or a cowman.
Well... I will be in costume - at least a plaid shirt and jeans. No hat.

DR elmore - Is it possible that you signed up for some sort of "free" service that was only free for a limited amount of time?
~~~~~QUICK RESOLUTION VIBES TO YOU~~~~~
Night, all.
DR MATTHEW - Hopefully, DD Ben will soon "introduce" you one his friend's owners. ;)
And since I have to be back at the theatre in 10 hours...
Goodnight.
Maybe.... however, the average age on the dog park is 70. No offense to anyone here :)
Why would anyone buy MySpace? It's funny how fast Facebook made that obsolete, isn't it? I'm on Facebook to make updates to various projects and rarely post there about anything else, although I do occasionally respond to things I see on the home page.
