Lights on is an absolute rule. I suppose decorations reduces the number of homes, which at their age can be good.
guess I am confused, Jennifer. If this isn't a caramel apple or a red candy one; then what kind of candy apple is it that you are eating?
Have you never been to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory?
And the word of the day is: CARITATIVE!
Are parts of lower Manhattan still dark?
DR Ben's place, for instance?
LOL! I was thinking that Snuggies were disposable diapers.
I am having such a hard time trying to find a cat sitter. And I worry about what happens if there is a snow storm when I'm gone. With Sharon I didn't worry, but I don't know with other people. So I'm going to go out to http://www.dogwoodpethotel.com/index.html and check out their cat wing. I may be able to have all three cats stay in the same suite. There is a live in caretaker so if there is a storm someone is there to care for the animals. It's worth checking out. It seems to be more dog oriented, but they have a cat wing, so I'm thinking this may not be bad.

;)

+1
Yes indeed DR ELMORE - Britt is playing Rebecca Nurse. And she is very good. What does David think of his son's TV success?
Gretchen and David met at DePauw....
Is anyone watching "Arrow" this season?
I think it's terrific!
Thanks all, glad you like the pics.Yeah, I understand, but I didn't know if he had mentioned it.
I haven't mentioned his son to David as yet.....I figured he gets that too much.

I really want one of those plush snuggies. They look so comfy!

I think I could have bought an XL shirt instead of a 2 XL shirt....
Thursday afternoon greetings! Today was Richard's official pre-op visit with the podiatrist who's going to operate on his foot in 2 weeks. We had to leave for Dayton at 8:30am and it took quite a while. Had coffee afterwards at the Starbucks nearby and ran into a former library co-worker, also now-retired. We did a couple of errands on the way home and I had lunch and tried to take a nap to make up for being awake since 4:45 this morning. My left foot kept cramping, so I gave up on the nap and am now trying to do some desk work.
Last night I watched what I presume is a mid-season replacement tv show titled CHICAGO FIRE.
Last night I watched what I presume is a mid-season replacement tv show titled CHICAGO FIRE.
The pilot aired on Oct 10th. We watched about 20 minutes of it and Keith turned it off.
Added Adrian Zmed to our Outside The Box cast.
I still haven't forgiven BK for not inviting me to watch the filming of OUTSIDE THE BOX when I was in LA last time...and the guest star was Gregory Harrison.
I'd have been all over that.
Which could be why I wasn't invited.
Thanks all, glad you like the pics.

In recent years, he is best known for the role of Firmin in The Phantom of the Opera, which he has played for nearly 19 years on the road and on Broadway. He has also played more performances of the Bernstein Mass, as The Celebrant (including at the Metropolitan Opera and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts) and more performances as Juan Peron in Evita than any other actor.
Here's a great photo from Hoboken:

Jane, I guess I was just having trouble understanding Jennifer's post last ngiht (I wasn't feeling very well). I thought she was saying that this apple wasn't caramel and it wasn't red candy. Those are the only kinds of candy apples that I know about. Believe me, I have had my share of both the caramel (with and without additions) and red candy apples.
Never mind, it is better just to forget the whole covnersation. Sorry Jane. Sorry Jennifer.

Yes, when I remember it is on. Last night, I watched THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CLARLIE BROWN and that horrible new show THE NEIGHBORS; AND THEN remembered that ARROW was on at the same time.
Here a few photos from THE CRUCIBLE before rehearsal last night.

Not sure if it is a good show or not, but guest starring on several upcoming episodes is one of my favorite current day actors, Jason Beghe, playing a bad police officer.
I think I first notice Jason Beghe when he played one of Matt's boyfriend's, or maybe he was just a friend, on MELROSE PLACE.

Greetings.
Still in the dark and cold. Still schlepping to places like Panera Bread to sit for a spell, recharge things, and say hi to the world. The work to be done on our street, as I see it, is proceeding in as piecemeal a fashion as I believe is humanly possible. Power company has said the state should be 95% or 98% up by Monday night. You can't get any further or more detailed information out of them.
Called my electrician today. He'll be over next week to help me decide on a generator and start the process. No way I'm not doing it.
BTW, I'm far from being as bad off as many thousands of people. It's an inconvenience, not a tragedy. I don't lose sight of that.
The stone to complete our walkway has FINALLY arrived. I hope it contains some of the more colorful stones as requested for the front path to the steps.
Greetings.

Do you like this doctor better than the one who operated on your food?
Hi all. I just wanted to check in and make sure everyone is ok. Does anyone need anything?
Work has eased up a bit. I hate to say anything because it's so changeable. This has been the worse 2 years of my life, work wise.
I think things will start moving on the house. I'm hoping they will start the week of Thanksgiving to pour the concrete. I will be out of town. Going to PIttsburgh to spend the holiday with my ex sister in law and her kids. I'm very excited.

Rehearsal was really fun, and we had Alvin Ing today and he's great.
DR Jane - The doctor who operated on my foot was an orthopedic surgeon. Richard and I felt we needed to become established with a podiatrist and one of my professional friends went to this one for surgery similar to mine. She was very pleased and I'd heard another recommendation, too.

There is talk of some people being without power until the end of November. That could be after Thanksgiving, given how early it is this year.Hi all. I just wanted to check in and make sure everyone is ok. Does anyone need anything?

I imagine they will by Thanksgiving!
Yesterday nine pages?
I wonder how often that's happened...someone was in the original production of a show and then was in a revival many years later.

So barring an early closing, yes it will be
I am very glad that I won't be around when some of these over-tatooed young people reach age 65 or 70.

This comment has nothing to do with EDWIN DROOD, but rather some of the players on THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.
I lost some money making the change, but it's worth it. I love to play in concerts, even though I'm not as good as I used to be and my shoulder hurts when I play. I really can't wait to play the flute choir music. The night I would have missed was Christmas in the pioneer village in a nearby town. It's a really cool event and when I heard we were playing and I couldn't be there, it was pretty much the last straw.

I wish I could spend a Christmas in a small New England town.
