This is from Saturday Night Light and it's just wicked. Imagine Al Pacino playing Charlie Brown, Edie Falco as Lucy and Larry David as Linus.

When does it open?I was wondering the same thing.
I heard that it opens in a week and a day but don't quote me on that. The rumors are rampant that it might open on 12/25 or the week before New Years Day or the day before Boxing Day but no one seems to know for sure.
DR Ben:
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Christmas tree photos!!! Beautiful tree!
And the word of the day is: COMMENSAL!
The last candle on the menorah was Saturday night.
Has anybody seen LES MISERABLES yet?
Is it as bad as most of the reviews indicate?

I have only read ONE LES MIZ review that certainly wasn't a pan, but it wasn't a valentine either.

Cold BeGone Vibes for DR DOUG R.Thank you DR Jrand62. I'm almost back to normal now.
I really like hazelnuts...especially in chocolate. :D However, I don't like it when they're called filberts. Where did that name come from?
So, on that note, have a happy day from

I doubt that LM screeners have been sent out......to anyone....
I also loved DR JANE's photos from last night. Very nice!
Glad you all enjoyed the pictures. It was a good year and it's nice to have the tree up and decorated so we can relax.
I'm home from some of my errands. I still have a couple to complete and then it's relaxing until the party.
DR Ben I very much enjoyed your Christmas photos.
My supervisor has just learned that his son's school is in a lockdown because of a threatening phone call. I hope this doesn't become pandemic.
Sorry for being e&t this weekend, it was a long one. The show is down, and what a run it was! I might actually miss it and will look forward to next year's show.
I'm back from a Christmas lunch party. I wasn't sure whether I'd make it because I've had a terrible cold for the past week. I had champagne sorbet, Ham hock terrine, roast turkey and profiteroles. I'm now bloated and need to lie down. I'm having to pass on a party this evening which I can't cope with after the lunch.
Just got a note from my supervisor, who is waiting with the rest of the parents outside his son's school. The lockdown continues because the threat is deemed to be on the outside, so the children are safer inside, the school officials say. SWAT, FBI, ATF, county and city officials are all on the scene.
In a way, that seems scarier because the person who made the threat could pass himself off a concerned parent/grandparent. Again, I've seen too many movies.

The lockdown at the school has ended and the kids were able to leave to go home with their parents.
DR Ben I very much enjoyed your Christmas photos.
DR Ben I very much enjoyed your Christmas photos.
I did, too - It's great to see those smiling faces and all those gift bags right after contributing to the cause at the theatre!
Loved the cheery Christmas pictures, Ben.
Maybe that explains why they stayed until so long after sundown. It was actually all over. At least they got a bunch of new ornaments for their Christmas tree.
DR Ben I very much enjoyed your Christmas photos.
Your pictures are also quite lovely.

The following one about the Royal Doctor is even funnier.

So am I.
I began my working at the gym feeling perfectly fine. I finally had to stop a few minutes early thinking I shouldn't have eaten breakfast. When I do eat before working out I tend to feel it while on the treadmill which is the last thing I do. I still didn't feel too bad when I got off the treadmill. Within minutes after stopping I got really sick. Keith had to pull the car up and help me out. In 36 degree weather I walked out wearing shorts & a t-shirt and was comfortable. My hands began shaking, & then tingling, so fast you couldn't see them shake. I could only feel them.
I think I had an hour virus. I hope that is all it was though I'm still rather shaky & haven't had much to eat.
But a big package I was assured would be here today is not so I've written that e-mail. But the best thing that arrived today is clearly from The Twit who attempted and failed to cause trouble the other day. I received a Christmas card - the return address was the Kritzerland address to where it was sent. Right there, one knew something was amiss. The sentiment inside? "Bruce, you are an ASS."
Note to Twit: As if your bad karma hadn't tripled before, now it's quintupled. Why don't you try getting a life, doing something productive, and stop living to spread your obnoxious negativity? I think now I will actively pursue finding out who the e-mail address belongs to, so if you're reading this, chum, you might want to nuke it.
That's the interesting thing - while there were the "lines" of a postmark, there was no city or anything else - very weird. Is that even possible? BTW, got your lovely present today - fun!

You have a lovely home, DR Jane!
My birding buddy and I went to some new sewage ponds that we found out were open to birdwatchers. We were so lucky that also there was a very friendly birder with a scope, who allowed us to tag along. He helped us find some things we wouldn't have seen without his scope.

I'm having to rethink how to post pictures as we travel because I'm not taking my laptop - just my new iPad Mini. I will take my camera, but probably take some pics with my iPad or iPhone, post them to Facebook, and then link them to here. I'll have to try that with the iPad before we leave...

Sorry DR Jane. Feel better.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How long after breakfast do you work out? I would give it 2 hours. But I would go swimming or to the gym without eating. I think you need the energy from the food.
Looks like winter has really started here. :(
Snow storms and bad weather scheduled for everyday.
This is what i dislike most about winter.
I wouldn't mind a few snowflakes. But I really dislike storms.
Thankfully Friday's really big storm that was supposed to be 25-35mm might be rain instead. Fingers crossed that the weather stays at 5C/40F+ like they are now predicting.
Feel better vibes for DR Jane!

That's an option..but then if you can attach it to an e-mail, you could upload it to the HHW Photobucket account. Do you have the instructions, Ginny?
DR George, I don't have the Photobucket instructions. Could you send them to me in a PM?

BK - I just got back from your show at the Metropolitan Room. It was really wonderful, your song was a gem (as I knew from the album) and it seemed to go over great with quite a glittering crowd. But the whole show was a delight, put me in a much better mood than I've been in, and I thank you for the escape it gave all of us.
I see they were taping it for you. I think you'll be very pleased with how it went and was received.

Entertainment Weekly gives Les Miz a "C," but the review reads more like an "F." Liasa Schwarzbaum obviously dislikes the musical to begin with ("the listless music and lyrics...", the derivative characters fashioned from OLIVER! scraps") and she goes out of her way to dish everyone involved in the film.

Great minds ... and even our minds ...
Is that a panini press, Cillaliz? Should be lots of fun.
The plan next year is to do the Christmas show here in LA, in San Francisco, maybe Portland, and wherever else we can book it, and then she'd do a four-performance run of it in NY again at the Metropolitan Room.
