And the word of the day is: INCHMEAL!
Good morning, all.
There's a good four to five inches of snow on my world. Oy!
I am wearing dark green Dockers with a light green pinstripe and a maroon pullover.
It's the revolutionary costume for the day.
If this place is going to the dogs, then here's another cute shot (I don't know the dog, just liked the photo):

BLAZE the SuperDog is most adorable.......
We had great photos of DR DRUXY's adorable Chester last week and now this week BLAZE! This place is going to the dogs.
With apologies to Callie and Ricky and Boo, of course. Since we had pictures from DR JANE of a lovely kitty as well.....
When you look half way down your page there is the option to set your goodreads goal for the year. Then it keeps track. But as long as you are marking the date you finish books you shoulld be able to check.
All I know about the helicopter crash here in London I've learned from HHW. We're watching the news now and all we're hearing is about gun control in the US.
Of course as soon as I purchased a book for my nook the library offered me a book from my waiting list.
I awoke to the news of the London helicoptor crash. Glad to know that is nowhere near where Ginny and Richard are staying.Or Doug R.

I can't get it to show them in reverse date order so it takes to long to get to the end of my books read list.
I've set my goal to 150 and it says at the pace I'm going I'm one book behind schedule. If I could count my half read Les Miserable I would be on schedule ;) As of now I've read 5 books. It will be interesting to see if I reach my goal. Thank for encouraging me to do this.

And what about Nicky?
I am back from lunch with my friend Peter Clem, whom I've known since a summer theatre production of GYPSY about 40 yesrs ago. When I moved to NYC, Peter got we working with him and two friends on a cabaret act that led to my becoming staff arranger for the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. at one point, during my six-month search for an apartment, Peter rented me his home office space for a bedroom and we were roommates for about six t eight weeks. That's two in two days. Who will you run into next?
I hadn't seen him in about two years so it was fun to catch up.
Tragically a helicopter crashed in central London this morning (fortunately not close to where Ginny is staying). Helicopters have to follow the line of the river but this one hit the top of a crane and fell onto a busy road. No news of casualties yet.
Conrad Bain from "Diff'rent Strokes" has died.

I would have loved to have heard any Dark Shadows stories he had to tell.Conrad Bain from "Diff'rent Strokes" has died.

He was a wonderful man! Conrad was a friend of the Drama Book Shop owners and a funny charming gentleman. He had funny stories about being in the original 1956 productionof CANDIDE. The last time he called the Book Shop, he was asking forhelp in finding a boy to play hos grandson Pud in ON BORROWED TIME.
Dear Reader (DR) chris_p, welcome to the group! Tell us all about yourself: what do you do? how did you find us? We are happy to see you join us.Yes, welcome, chris_p!
Now, do you like Cherry Coke? Are you a body builder of advanced years? If the answer to either is yes, run for your life.
I am going to watch CROMWELL on TCM this afternoon. I always get a little murky on my English history around that time - so i am sure they way to clear that up is to watch a movie about it.That's how I get most of my history, from movies and musicals. I'd know nothing about U.S. history if it weren't for "1776" and "Assassins."
Made it through the school day. Now on to youth choir, then I'm so excited that I get to revisit Legally Blonde tonight. Playing the pit again. It'll be a lot of fun to play the show instead of having to worry about what's happening on the stage or in the pit. Looking forward to visiting an old friend.Hope no parents complain about the content the way they did with "All Shook Up" recently.

Seems to me you'd stop and see

Good morning, all.

What a difference between Manhattan and Connecticut. We have rain (they say it may turn to snow) but no white flakes around here.

Sadly, two people died (including the pilot) and 13 have been injured. Awful news, but still a miracle that more were not hurt given that it was during the rush hour and in the middle of London

Perhaps his brother and Lady Macbeth??
Hello, everyone.
Sorry, Kevin, I can't join you, but do have a great time!
Going to LA for the weekend. Any Los Angelenos want to see Peter Pan Saturday night?

I read this as: Bruce, maybe the reason you're not sleeping well is that you're old. :)
Dare I admit I don't know the show?
VIBES for a great pit playing, DR Matthew!
I love playing in pits. Should do it more often.

I think we're both right. I'd forgotten the Legally Blonde story. The All Shook Up story was recently in Utah.Made it through the school day. It wasn't All Shook Up, unless something else happened. A teacher was fired, after the fact, for staging

LOL! But I thought I knew some factual info from "1776" that got me in trouble with Mrs. Sibener in history class, where Peter Stone had made stuff up. Like the saying goes, the fact that they're singing and dancing should have clued me in that it's not a documentary. :)

It said Callie, Ricky and Boo that's why I never minded
DR TCB, would love to see photos of Nicky!
